Elsie was excited. She was attending the Valentine's Dance with Agnes and even though they had to be discreet, she couldn't find it in herself to be unhappy. Though the last couple of days she had been finding herself a bit down in the dumps for a number of little reasons, it didn't seem to matter at all when she was with Agnes. She wanted Agnes to have only her best days and if that meant she had to force herself into happiness, then so be it. She had agreed to do this Agnes' way and that was the way it had to be. She didn't want to lose her, she was the love of her young life, she would do anything for her. She wore a red suit of sorts, with a lacy crop top underneath. She never really had been much of a fan of dresses. So here she waited at the doors to the Great Hall for her date that she couldn't say was her date. It was fine though. Agnes was the love of her life and even though she didn't know how to tell her that, she would show her in any way that she could. Starting with keeping the secret as close to her heart as Agnes needed her to.

Agnes had wanted to do something to show Elsie that they were a partnership, even if they couldn't tell the world, she still wanted her girlfriend to know how she felt. The fourth year had chosen a dress that reminded her of Elsie, and putting in more effort to her hair and make up than she usually would, she felt ready to attend the dance. Of course she hoped that anyone that spotted them, including her uncle. would think she and Elsie were still just close friends, and she was beginning to relax after the last few months they had managed to get away with their secret. While she wanted Elsie to be able to be herself completely, and Agnes felt guilty every time she asked her not to say anything yet, she trusted the Ravenclaw more than anyone. Agnes caught up with the fifth year, spotting her just before she went into the hall. "Hey, Els!" she called out, a large wide smile on her face that she was unable to stop when she laid eyes on her. She was so beautiful, bright and bold and she still couldn't really believe that she was her girlfriend. "You look.. amazing!" the Slytherin's eyes looking up and down at her outfit. Agnes wanted to reach out and kiss her there and then, but it was too risky with so many prying eyes. "Shall we go in?" she asked, still unable to pull her gaze away from the Ravenclaw. No other sights were going to be as breathtaking.

Elsie couldn't keep the grin off of her face as she turned around to see Agnes. Of course she looked bloody amazing, Elsie was not surprised by this at all. The way her hair framed her face, the brown curls wrapped loosely above her head. Elsie almost wanted to conjure a crown for her gorgeous queen. Her eyes drifted down to Agnes' dress, blue, for her she assumed, sequinned and laced, Agnes didn't look like she belonged at this dance at all, not something so juvenile as this. She deserved way more than Elsie could ever give her, but dammit, she would try her hardest. She shifted her eyes back up to Agnes' face, wondering if she could see at all, just how much love and affection she had for the Slytherin, because she was sure it was reflected in her eyes. "No, Agnes I don't even compare to you, I really don't." She could truthfully say that both as her best friend and as her girlfriend. None of the other girls in this room were going to compare with how Agnes made her feel in this moment and that was what was the most important thing. Not thoughts or actions, but feelings. Even if she couldn't announce to the entire room that she was entering with the most amazing and incredible girlfriend than anyone would ever have, she could let Agnes feel it, let her feel how incredibly amazing Elsie thought she was. "Yes, let's." She was about to reach out to Agnes, grab her hand or something, but she knew there were too many people around and so she resolved to standing close to her and walking arm in arm. That wasn't too obvious, she'd seen Zennon and Leda walk in similarly, but at least she could be close to Agnes, which was the only place she wanted to be right now. By her girlfriends side. "We should have a dance first, before all the good songs are used up," she said, unable to take her eyes away from Agnes' face no matter how hard she tried.

It was hard to try and stay away from Elsie in a way that she wanted to show her how she felt, but they had to remain with some distant as to not raise suspicion. Part of her had considered whether to just talk to her Uncle and get things out into the open once and for all, but if her parents ever found out she was convinced it wouldn’t end well. Elsie was looking at her with such awe in her eyes that Agnes felt like she was being looked straight through her soul, and it was hard to pull her gaze away from her girlfriend as they entered the dance. “Yes, we should,” Agnes agreed, taking her hand and pulling her towards the dance floor. There were plenty of couples here that were here as friends so it wouldn’t seem too strange. Really, Agnes just wanted the excuse to be able to pull Elsie towards her, running her free hand down her arm in affection. The Slytherin sighed, looking down for a moment although she had an exasperated smile on her face. Of all people, Elsie had gone and fallen for the one person who wasn’t able to let her be herself, and sometimes the reality of that made the Slytherin feel guilty. She knew how the Ravenclaw felt about it though, and that she said she didn’t mind, but Agnes would never stop trying to figure out new ways of showing she cared. Even if they were small things like how she tried to play with her fingers as they danced, thinking she could get away with it even though they were in a room of people. “Els..” she looked back up to her girlfriend, words on the tip of her tongue.

Elsie knew this night was going to be amazing and hard. Amazing because this was one of the only chances they could do this without it being too suss and hard because all she wanted to do was run her hands through Agnes' hair. She didn't care about everyone else, but she cared about Agnes and that was what stayed her hand. She could see the same thoughts and emotions running through Agnes' eyes and really, that helped. To know that she wasn't alone in her feelings, it was a weight off of her chest she didn't know she was carrying. Merlin, she had such feelings for this Slytherin, her Slytherin. The Slytherin of her life, her heart and her soul. Elsie was only fifteen of course, and people would say she was mad, but she knew what this was, and she wanted to feel it forever. Forever with Agnes, if she could. Elsie squeezed her Slytherin's hand subtly as she was pulled towards the dance floor, her eyes not once leaving the younger girl. She didn't really care about decorum, and let her hands sit snuggly at her waist. Agnes was the only person in the room she cared to pay attention to, to notice, and if her eyes weren't on hers, they were on her hands, gracing her arm, or their bodies standing so close together, or to her lips, that were trying to speak only to let the words Elsie wanted to her linger in the sound of the music and laughter around them. Elsie knew, but she wanted to hear it. "Aggie, I know we have a fight ahead of us, I know this is hard for you," she said, standing as close to her as she dared, lips close to her ear so they could talk without being heard. "But... I just want you to know that I love you, no matter what. And I don't care what happens to me as long as I'm with you."

Hearing the words Agnes had been wanting to tell Elsie for so long, whispered into her ear, wasn't like they were even stood in the middle of the Great Hall. As far as the Slytherin was concerned, she and Elsie were the only people in the room as the chills ran through her body and eyes began to well. She closed her eyes, transporting them in her mind up, way above anyone else that was even remotely near them. As long as she had Elsie, she didn't need anyone else. Agnes had only just begun to trust herself enough to let her believe that a relationship with the Ravenclaw was even possible, and the fourth year clung to the older girl as she spoke about them having a fight ahead of them. She didn't care what was thrown in their direction, she knew they'd get through it, and she promised herself there and then that she would get Elsie to the other side of this mess so that one day they would be free to be anyone they wanted. "I love you too Els," she smiled, her cheek almost touching the Ravenclaws she was leaning so close. She moved back a little to look into her eyes, "I want to fix this, I want to make it okay so that we don't have to hide anymore. I won't stop." she said, her eyebrows raising as she implored the Ravenclaw to believe her. It wasn't that Agnes thought Elsie wouldn't, or didn't, but she knew putting her in this position wasn't easy on either of them, and Agnes was going to fight for what they had if it was the last thing she ever did.

There was so much to love about Agnes, how could anyone not be okay with this? Elsie knew there was nothing wrong with what they were doing, but if the people in Agnes' life couldn't see how much Elsie loved her, than that was on them. She would fight with everything she had to make everything okay. Elsie's hands didn't leave Agnes' waist as they danced to the beat of the slow music that seemed to get quieter as they occupied each other's space. Elsie had quickly forgotten where they were, occupied only with thoughts of Agnes, the Slytherin in front of her. There was nothing Elsie would change, except maybe a class schedule or two, because being with Agnes every minute of every day would still not be enough. She always wanted more. There was so much she wanted to say to her, all the words that had been building between them, but, it would have to wait because they needed tonight. Tonight they were friends, but in the darkness, out of sight, Agnes was Elsie's entire world. It pained her greatly that they couldn't be open, that she couldn't risk letting anyone know and though she knew at least one person held suspicions, she wasn't going to let that interfere. She knew Elio would keep quiet, he, possibly more than anyone, would understand the importance of keeping quiet. Elsie was out and proud, people knew that, but Agnes, she was not, and that was her right as a person to keep her secret safe. She allowed a moment for her hand to skim up to Agnes' cheek and carefully brush her thumb along her jawline, before tucking it back at her waist. Hearing her say she loved her, meant just as much as anything else she might have done tonight. Anyone listening wouldn't have much to say, they could explain it away easily enough. If anything, Elsie could lean a little more into Vegeta, since she had a strange feeling he felt some kind of way about her, she would do whatever she had to to keep Agnes safe and she was glad Agnes understood that too. "I mean everything to me, okay, everything." Not just as her bestfriend and the person she trusted above all else, but as the one person in the world she connected with on such a level that ninety percent of their conversations were non-verbal.

Elio had thought about the rose that Elsie had stolen from him a few times that day, but not because of the plant. It had been Elsie’s reaction to his joke that had him most baffled, as though he really had struck a nerve. If Elsie and Agnes were more than just friends, what did that make Elsie and Vegeta? Elio was still incredibly wary of his dorm mate around his friend, and it made even less sense that she be hanging around him, although somewhat relieving to think things may not have been so crystal clear as they once seemed to be. Elio was taking a break from dancing himself, watching the crowds when he laid his eyes on the pair, shooting them a nod when they caught sight of him. There had to be more to them than they were letting on. It wasn’t any of his business, and he wasn’t going to ask, especially if Vegeta continued to act apologetically towards his friends.

It was almost too much, looking to Elsie as though she were looking at her world, which really she was. Since meeting Elsie, Agnes had found a reason to be more than just someone who followed instructions. Elsie made her want to be a better person, for both of their sakes, but watching her now and not being able to do everything she wanted was also the hardest thing. She lost her breath completely when her girlfriend grazed her cheek, it was so close to what they couldn’t do, at least not here, and yet she hadn’t wanted her to stop. “So are you. I don’t know id do without you,” she admitted honestly. The Ravenclaw had become such a huge part of her life that she never wanted to go back to how things were before, even if they were simpler. Agnes saw a little movement in the corner of her eye, and turning to glance across the room she saw one of the older prefects looking straight in their direction. Instantly Agnes felt stomach drop, lowering her eyes as her cheeks began to flush. Why was he looking at them like that? Had he seen Elsie stroke her cheek? “Els.. “ she looked to her girlfriend feeling suddenly queasy, “what was that?” she asked trying to keep the panic out of her voice and trusting Elsie would just tell her they were friends.

As much as Elsie wished they could be more than this, in this room, at this moment, she made sure she wasn't being too obvious, though it might have been a bit too late for that. She looked away from Agnes at the precise moment Elio looked in their direction across the room. He nodded and Elsie knew he suspected, though wouldn't say anything. Agnes had seen him too though, and it was like she could feel a shutter slam in front of Agnes. "It's okay, that's Elio Zephyr, he's... well, he's my friend, but more importantly he's the love of Rowan's life. If anyone understands this thing between us and what we can't show to others, it'll be Elio." She was careful not to touch Agnes too much for the moment, letting her calm down first. Elsie couldn't say she understood, she'd never had to worry about what Agnes did, but she understood panic when she felt it. "I ran into him earlier today, he made a joke about us and... I'm sorry but I overreacted to it. I think that was him acknowledging that he understood enough not to ask questions," she told Agnes, hoping it would be enough to calm her. She knew Elio would never out Agnes, he wasn't that person. If she thought he was, no way would she be letting Rowan anywhere near him. "He'd never hurt me and by extension you, I promise, this is just between us. He might have his suspicions, but he doesn't know." Elio was good people.

As much as Agnes wanted to believe that Elio could be trusted, why should he? What if he said something to someone by mistake? Even if he was connected to Rowan, he could always slip up by accident and it would be over for them even if they had managed to keep it quiet. “Why.. why was he joking?” She tried to rationalise that it didn’t mean anything. She didn’t blame Elsie, but why was someone joking about them in the first place? Did it look as though they were already too close? Agnes stepped back a little, conscious of how close they’d become although the damage may have already been done. The Slytherin nodded at her girlfriends words, he doesn’t know. Nothing was confirmed. “Alright. Okay.” She said, glancing back over to him although she still didn’t really trust him.

"Aggie, you don't have to trust him, okay, you just have to trust me," She said, looking her girlfriend in the eye. She didn't want this to weigh on her mind. "He doesn't know anything, I promise you and he won't come and ask either," she added, thankfully he wasn't like Rowan. She dearly loved her sister, honestly she did, but the Gryffindor was definitely nosey if she thought something was going on. The constant barrage of questions about Vegeta? Yeah, she wasn't nosey at all. "We can enjoy ourselves, no one is even paying us any attention." That might have gone over better if they hadn't just both individually confirmed that at least one member of the student body had been watching them.

Agnes nodded, she could do that, she could trust Elsie even if she didn't want to trust some random strange Gryffindor boy. Rowan's friend or not, he wasn't her friend. Agnes knew better than most how easily ties could be broken by betrayal. For some reason her girlfriend didn't think he was going to be an issue, and the Slytherin sighed as she tried to let go of the gloom that she felt resting on her shoulders. Agnes heard her words, but that didn't stop the fourth year from glancing around the room to see who else was peering in their direction, with particular attention to the professors table. "He can't tell anyone, alright," her eyes looking back to Elsie in concern, "If.. if the Charms professor finds out about us, I don't know how long it will take to get to my parents." Agnes hadn't explicitly said to Elsie before as to why she couldn't let word get out around the school, but it wasn't because of the reaction from other students. "I don't care about the other people here but they don't realise, that if he finds out, what that could mean. One casual conversation from other kids about us, and Professor Kain over hears it, I don't know, I'll probably end up working for the Scitorari," Agnes' face was one of pained humour, while she tried to keep things lighthearted her family weren't exactly known for being compassionate. She tugged her girlfriend by the elbow, gesturing for her to come to the side and further out of the way of prying ears and eyes. "My dad, he's Kain's younger brother. And there's another girl in Hufflepuff, she's my cousin." She had other family members but she was lucky in that they'd all graduated now. Agnes didn't want to burden Elsie with too much but she couldn't not tell her about the reality of the situation. "My dad took my mums name when they married," Agnes spoke quietly, although she felt like now that she started she couldn't stop, and the whole story began to pour from the Slytherin. "My dad's family is massive. They all grew up in America, but they're not all magical. Only he and Professor Kain actually have any magical blood," she began, nodding in the direction of the professors table, had it been there during the festivity. "When my parents met, my dad cut all ties from his family, Robert and my dad haven't spoken properly since he taught at Ilvermorny, my cousins barely even recognise they've got another magical branch in the Kain's but that doesn't even matter. It's my mums side, the Norgaards, they're the ones that control what happens," she glanced to Elsie, knowing it was a lot of take in all at once, but hoped she was following as she handed her girlfriend a drink. "Have you ever heard of Norgaard Pharmaceuticals?" she asked. Perhaps it wasn't as well known as Agnes believed, but it was still a large business that dealt with herbs and potions across the globe. Rumour had it that Kain's girlfriend was involved with growing them from time to time, but how much of that was true Agnes wasn't sure. "Lincoln Norgaard? Sometimes appears in the paper, bald, sort of looks like he always has to pee?" she asked in an attempt to jog Elsie's memory. They specialised in medicine for people like them. "Anyway, he's the one at the top," Agnes continued, taking a sip of her own drink as she cast her eye back over the others on the dance floor. There was a reason Agnes didn't delve into this story too much, it wasn't as though it was a cheerful one. "Most people don't realise that the whole company is made up of family members. That's why anyone who marries in, has to take their name," She could never do that to Elsie, although even getting them to accept her girlfriend would have been the first hurdle. Pressing on quickly, "My dad marries into this family, cuts ties with his siblings and then I was born. It's like, every Norgaard is given their role, you don't get to just, choose." Agnes was straying into parts of her family life that she'd never once said out loud before, and it was both terrifying and relieving. "I have to work with them when I'm older. I don't get to pick. When I started Hogwarts, they told me my role was one of three things." It was generous really, some members didn't even get the option to at least pick a path, "Either I can work for the Invisibility Task Force, that would help them with research of products, scouting competitors, or, I could be a healer." The fact that she worked in the hospital wing somewhat gave off the impression of what Agnes had chosen. "Being the direct link between our products and our clients," she swallowed nervously. "If I didn't want either of those, or my grades aren't good enough for those, then I have to join the Scitorari, like some kind of, guinea pig." the last words leaving her lips quite forcefully at the thought of being told what her every move would have to be. "The Norgaards watch everyone you're in contact with Els. I can't hide from them. All it would take for me to be bypassed and forced to join a group which, I.." Agnes struggled for words as her eyes glossed over, the stories she's heard from others wasn't worth even considering. "They don't take kindly to any Norgaard stepping away from what they call traditional, things that they control. And this, they're never going to approve." It wouldn't take much to step out of the line and find that the rest of her life was dictated to her through a third and final path. "They, can't, know."

Elsie wasn't sure what she was witnessing as she saw emotions playing over Agnes' face, but she didn't like it very much, she was sure of that. She noted with interest that Agnes glanced to where the Professors table was usually set up and wondered if that had anything to do with her inability to properly express herself. She hoped not, the Professors were here to help them after all, the thought that someone might be looking at the opposite upset her more than she thought it would. She turned back to Agnes with concern as she again tried to emphasise that Elio simply couldn't let slip that there was something between them. She'd told Agnes that he wouldn't say anything, what would Agnes have her do, threaten him? She knew Elio would care enough to not question her if she asked him not to, but, didn't Elsie have some sort of right to understand what was really going on? She figured it was some family thing, even though it was 2051, not everyone was modern. There had been times where being like them was a death sentence, but surely by now people were different? As Agnes kept talking, Elsie had to admit, she was very confused. Why on Earth would the Charms Professor, either of them, want to tell her parents. Elsie had her suspicions about Professor Haden of course, but she didn't know much about Professor Kain, she couldn't see why either of them would be particularly interested in the goings on of their students love lives. It made very little sense to her at all why any of this should have anything to do with them, she wasn't quite grasping what Agnes was desperately trying to say and the confusion all over her face would surely alert Agnes to that. When Agnes continued, mentioning she might have to end up working for the Scitorari, Elsie frowned, placing her hands on Agnes' shoulders to implore her to make some sense. "Ag, what are you talking about? What does Professor Kain have to do with the Scitorari?" Surely a Professor couldn't be involved with an organisation like that, especially not Professor Kain. If anyone was going to be she thought perhaps Professor Styx, or really, even Professor Pendleton, he seemed eccentric enough, but Kain? None of what was coming out of her girlfriends mouth was making any sense to the Ravenclaw and she was trying very hard to keep calm as Agnes continued to talk.
Being pulled to the side indicated that this was getting a bit more serious than she bargained for though and Elsie did her best to remain as close to Agnes as possible whilst she struggled through making sense and trying to explain whatever was going on. She hadn't really known what she was getting into with Agnes, but this sounded terribly complex and she'd barely even started to scratch the surface, as Elsie would soon discover. She listened intently, face morphing with emotions as she listened to Agnes talk, getting increasingly upset as more and more information came to light. She followed Agnes' gaze back to where the Professor's generally sat, though there was currently no one there and frowned. So this must mean that Professor Kain didn't know about Agnes, right? She took the offered drink and nodded. "Uh, yeah, they're a big deal. I can't believe I didn't put that together before," It wasn't like Norgaard was exactly a common name after all. She was less familiar with the name Lincoln Norgaard, but she didn't often read the business sections of the paper because it was all boring stuff and she was a fifteen year old who actually wanted to enjoy her life before she had to find a boring job, although if she passed all her exams okay, hopefully her job and future would not be as boring as it might have been should she fail. She took a sip of her drink, trying to over her momentary need to reach out and just pull Agnes close to her, protect her however she could. This was all huge, she wished she'd known all of it earlier, she might have been able to help. Not much, obviously, she was very insignificant in the grand scheme, but, she had a big family. She didn't mind initiating a turf war for Agnes.
As Agnes kept speaking, Elsie was beginning to understand exactly what she was trying to say. She'd heard of families like this, though most of them were associated with Pureblood supremacy like the Vetrovs or Malfoy's in the UK, she hadn't really heard about it having anything to do with families who were not trying to "keep it in the family" blood status wise. This new development was both extremely upsetting, but also particularly interesting. In either case, she was starting to understand the stakes and she was not at all happy about them. Being forced to choose from the three supplies options, didn't seem fair, although she thought it was pretty obvious what option Agnes was going to choose, assuming she didn't jai her exams, though, hearing all of this, Elsie was now determined that she would not. There was absolutely no way she was going to allow Agnes to fall into something like that. She'd never get back out, not with a family like that behind her. "Agnes... I am so sorry. I didn't realise it was so... this." She didn't know how to help, but she wanted to and so she stepped away from Agnes a little, but the tone of her voice didn't change as she set herself with steely determination. "They'll never stop us. I'll help you get through this. You'll be a healer, you'll have a life outside of them. I promise you will." There wasn't much they could do as kids, but as adults? Hell yeah they would fight back. "You're everything to me, Agnes, I love you more than anything in this world, I would never ever let anything happen to you, not if I have something to say about it." She finished off the last of her drink, tossing it to the side. Litter bugs be damned. "We can't do anything now, and maybe not for a while, but I'll... I'll get a job that will make me hard to reach and... and we'll help each other. I'm not going to let you go through this alone." She wanted so much to pull Agnes towards her and wrap her arms around her, kiss her, something, but after news like that, she knew it was impossible. "We'll get through this Agnes. I don't care how much control your family thinks they have over you, we will get you out."

Once Agnes was finished, she was both relieved to have gotten it off her chest, Elsie knew everything now, but she was scared too. What if the truth was going to be enough to drive a wedge between them? Was it unfair of her to have kept such things to herself for so long? Perhaps she shouldn’t have gotten involved with Elsie in the first place although she couldn’t imagine her life without the Ravenclaw anymore. Agnes had always thought of herself as independent, but the last year had proved that she couldn’t go back to person she used to be. She’d changed too much and come too far, as when she looked ahead she could no longer see her future without her girlfriend in it. Teenager or not, Agnes knew what she wanted, even if she couldn’t see a way of getting there quite yet.

Agnes was watching for Elsie’s reaction closely, although her response was almost overwhelming. Even after everything she’d told her, Elsie was still not only willing to stay with her in this situation but fight for her too. With tears threatening in her eyes, Agnes couldn’t just stay in the Great Hall, surrounded by all the eyes. It was like standing it in a pit of pins that were ready to burst her balloon at a seconds notice. The Slytherin stood a little taller, linking her arm through Elsie’s as it was as much as she dared do right there and guided her back the way they came, desperation kicking in the closer they got to the door. Agnes could only do so much, and while she had been enjoying the dance there was something else she had to do, something else that took priority. The fourth year didn’t stop when they left the hall, and crossing the corridor she glanced at Elsie before continuing straight out into the courtyard. Another couple had just come back inside, but while they were out there on their own for the time being, that didn’t exactly make it safe. Agnes rounded the corner, never letting Elsie go as they fell into a shallow alcove against the school. She turned to face the Ravenclaw once they were out of sight. Last time they’d been this alone it had been at Halloween but there was still something she’d missed out on that night too. Before she could let the doubts creep into her mind, Agnes slid both hands under Elsie’s jaw, looking up to meet her eyes, “Elsie, you’re unbelievable.” It wasn’t up for debate. She closed her eyes, closing the gap between them and pressing her lips against the brunettes. It was softly to begin with, but very quickly increased in intensity. Time was not exactly on their side, and Agnes wasn’t going to waste anything she had with Elsie. Who knew when they’d be caught out. As far as she was concerned, this was something she’d been waiting for for much too long as it was.

Elsie was a little surprised to see that Agnes appeared to be holding back tears. She hadn't really meant to make Agnes cry at all and she went to reach out to her, only for Agnes to beat her to it and link their arms together. She wasn't sure where they were going but she followed her, she would be happy wherever she was, as long as she was with Agnes, she didn't care. So she followed her, out of the Great hall, through the crowd and out into the courtyard that recently became available from the previous inhabitants, a couple of upper classman she didn't recognise. She wasn't sure what they were doing out here though. Agnes kept walking though, moving them further into concealment from prying eyes until she seemed satisfied enough to stop walking and turn back to Elsie. "Hey, what are you-" she shut up quickly though as Agnes' hands moved to her jaw. She was pretty sure she knew was about to happen, and she was definitely willing. She licked her lips quickly, waiting silently, feeling like she couldn't breath. They'd come close a couple of times in the past, but they'd never quite got there, it was always too open, too risky. They'd only been together for nearly four months, and one of those months was moot because they'd been separated by holidays. So this was exciting, daring and completely new dynamic that Elsie was eager to explore, if Agnes was willing. Elsie leaned into the kiss, letting the feeling between them guide her. There was nothing else that mattered, Agnes was the beginning and end of her world. They'd missed out that first time on Halloween. It just hadn't been the right time. This was the time for them, and she would let it happen for as long as she could. Elsie raised her hands to rest on Agnes' waist, not caring how they looked or what they were doing as long as Agnes was okay. They were together and that's what mattered. Reluctantly, Elsie pulled away and leaned her forehead on Agnes'. "I love you so much. I love you so much."
