Eoghan had been to the hospital wing a couple of times. Mainly to bring some of his friends here, and only once for his own accord. Today's trip however wasn't one that was the result of an injury or having consumed the wrong bread, so much as it was educational. The Ravenclaw had spent the last two years trying to determine a career path that once he was back home with his sister, he'd be able to utilise while around the presence of muggles. He knew his skills lay in that of logic and science, that he worked well with interpretations, writing, and guiding others toward a conclusion, although he didn't really know what it was all leading up to until recently. The electives fair had helped somewhat, or at least had given him a better insight to the things he did (and didn't) want to do in the future, but as he'd been pondering in his dorm he'd realized the best thing for him to be, was a Doctor.

Or at least, in the magical word it would have been considered a Healer. Surely if he learnt how to be a healer, he could treat his patients just as any muggle doctor would and they'd be none the wiser that he had additional abilities up his sleeve. Or, perhaps if he were a healer, he'd be able to heal other wizards and witches without the muggles suspecting anything to be awray. A doctor was a perfectly respectable career field and one that wouldn't raise too many questions.

The second year was peering round the door of the hospital wing, trying to nose around what was happening but for the first time, paying more attention to the staff than the patients. The more he knew about what the job entailed, the better he could prepare himself for the things he'd one day have to learn for himself.

Evan was floating through the castle. A part of his daily routine, whether it really was a daily remains to be seen since time flowed differently as a ghost. His routine was quite simple. Great Hall. Hospital Wing. Hufflepuff Common Room. Maybe other rooms in between, but Evan had been drawn to those particular areas most of the time. Leisurely floating through the corridor, he had been about to pass through the wall to go inside the Hospital Wing when he noticed a young boy lingering about, so he floated towards him. "Are you hurt child?"

Lilith was wandering around the castle as she sometimes liked to do when she spotted a familiar blond head around the Hospital Wing with a ghost floating towards him. Lilith had rarely had interactions with ghosts and such, one of the most memorable ones having been that with Vex. She walked towards the duo, or could you even refer to them as that? It was a ghost of someone so it should be considered a person too. As she got closer she heard the ghosts question and was immediately alarmed. Eoghan looked fine, she hadn't heard of him getting injured but she had also spent most of the day sleeping because of a particularly late night at the library, so it wasn't entirely out of question. As she got close enough she examined the boy seeing no visible injuries, but she had to make sure. "Are you ill?" Lilith questioned raising her hand and putting the back of it to the side of his neck to test the temperature since his forehead was faced away from her. His temperature felt normal at least.

Eoghan jumped out of his skin at the sound of a voice behind him. The Ravenclaw had believed he was alone in the corridor and he couldn't exactly blame a ghost for creeping up on him. The second year hadn't come across many ghosts, even since joining Hogwarts he'd only seen the odd one or two floating around in the Great Hall on occasion. They were quite alarming for someone who wasn't accustomed to seeing them, although Eoghan didn't want to offend the man by saying so. "No, I'm not," Eoghan said after a moment, getting his voice back. "I.." no sooner had he recovered from the shock of the ghost, he suddenly felt a cold sensation pressing on the side of his neck, and his whole body darted to the opposite side in an attempt to get away. He mumbled some sort of curse under his breath, biting his tongue mid way through to catch himself before either of them heard, and turned his head to see Lilith standing beside him.

His heart was now pounding heavily in his chest, and he checked up and down the corridor incase anyone else felt like startling him before continuing. "I'm not sick," Eoghan hadn't yet told his girlfriend of his career plan or intention, but he supposed now was a good a time as any, "I think I want to be a healer." It sounded silly out loud, as though someone like him could ever aspire to be someone in such a distinguished medical role, but the more he thought about it the more it made sense. "I don't want to intrude but I was trying to see what it would be like," not that Eoghan wanted to work at Hogwarts as such, but just in a hospital in general he supposed. He glanced back through the door, hoping that Lilith wasn't going to think it a silly idea, although knowing what he did about the Ravenclaw he had to admit he believed that would be hard to come by. It was the first time Eoghan felt like he had a somewhat clear direction, but at the same time he felt more lost than ever before since he was so inadequate. "Do you interact with them much?" Eoghan asked, turning his attention back to the ghost who must have lurked the castle for long enough to get to know the staff, "the nurses I mean."
