Alice had organized a meeting for her study group last semester, and was doing so again. She had put up a few notes for third years around the school in case anyone wanted to join. It was getting to the end of the school year, which meant there was a lot of studying to be done for different exams, which would be so much easier to do with a group instead of on one's own. Alice didn't expect Phineas to join, but she was hoping a few other third years would come. Last time had been fun, and she was hoping for something similar now, especially because the pressing need to revise was a lot bigger near the end of the school year. Alice had gathered some snacks and placed them on one of the biggest table in the student lounge. She also provided rolls of parchment and spare quills, and a few books from the library that might be useful. She herself was hoping to catch up on her revision for History of Magic, because she didn't think she had all the dates memorized quite yet. Alice took a seat at the table and took out her own notes, but she didn't start reading over them yet. She looked around hopefully for anyone to join her, a bit nervous everyone was too caught up in their own end of the year stress to remember this meeting.

OOCOut of Character:
All third years are welcome to join!

Vader had heard that Alice had organised another study session, with the exams looming, his accio deadline looming and his sleep diminishing, he knew he needed to go. The boy had spent much of the morning in the accio room. He’d managed to go to sleep that night fairly early but he’d woken up after only a few hours and after a little dozing had simply just been awake. The boy had known then if he wasn’t going to go back to sleep he might as well get up. It meant that by the time the meeting rolled around, Vader had been up for hours, working since then. He’d had several coffees over that time, and his hands shook lightly as he grabbed the books and headed to where the meeting was in the student lounge. He rubbed his eyes tired, running a hand tiredly through his hair. The boy arrived at the student lounge and other than Alice didn’t spot anyone else. ”Alice! hey!” he greeted with a smile and a little wave. He hoped it wasn’t too obvious how tired he was but he knew that likely he did. He put his books down on the table in the seat next to her, ”You ready for these exams?” he spoke rapidly with a smile as he placed his quill and ink on to the table before sitting down. He wasn’t sure if they’d wait for others or just get started, but he figured it would be good enough to wait a little.

Ava snuck into the room, wearing a dark jacket two sizes too big. She had the hood pulled up. Drat. Alice and Vader were both there. She slunk in, quickly crawling under the table. She bit her lip, silently taking the water bottle from her bag. Peeking out, she snuck it next to Vader's elbow when she was sure no one was looking.

Grinning to herself, she settled in under the table, opening a book quietly. She had done very little this semester. She had a lot of studying to do for the exams. She pouted as she set to work. This wouldn't be any fun at all.

Ilija thought he was keeping up with classes pretty well, even if he didn’t enjoy all of them. He preferred to be outside playing games or writing his own things rather than doing homework, but he didn’t want to be the only Olaf who failed his classes. He’d heard last semester about the study group for his year run by a girl in his house, but he’d been too shy to join until now. After finding one of the posters, the boy had come along to see if it would help him concentrate. He spotted a few others with Alice and assumed they were all there for the same reason, “You’re the third years, right?” He asked Alice and the other boy, unsure whether to take a seat with them. He’d brought a book with him but only one, not sure yet how exactly this would work.

Isabelle always liked to come to things Alice hosted. The brunette liked the girl but also the fact that Vader came made her happy. The girl walked into the student lounge and noticed a group of students from her year. She smiled bright and blushed as she saw Vader. The brunette kind of liked the boy, he was sweet to her. '' Hi guys.'' The ravenclaw said sweet and took a seat next to Vader quickly. She than smiled to Alice. And looked at an other boy from Hufflepuff she nodded at his question. And put down her books to actually do something.

Alice didn't have to wait long for the first arrival, and she wasn't surprised to see it was Vader. She grinned at him, though she couldn't help but notice how tired he looked once more. "Hey Vader!" She greeted, glad he was joining them. "I think I'll be ready soon, the study group will probably help a lot." She told him. "How are you feeling? With Accio stuff too?" She knew running the yearbook took a lot out of him, and it concerned Alice as his friend. Alice was briefly distracted by someone crawling under the table. She frowned, and looked under the table, squinting. "Ava? What are you doing?" She asked the girl. "If you want to join, you can work up here with us, silly." She wasn't sure what the Ravenclaw was thinking, but the sight of her in her jacket sitting under the table was enough to make her laugh. But while she was distracted by Ava, new people arrived. Alice quickly looked at them with a smile. "Hello! Yes, this is the third year study group." She said to the boy she recognized from Hufflepuff. "You're Ilija, right?" She hadn't really talked to him much, but knew his name from classes. "Hi Isabelle! Welcome to the study group!" Alice gestured to the table. "Take a seat, you can start studying for whatever you need to study. Hopefully we can help each other a little!"

Leda walked into the lounge to see some younger students studying. How keen. She continued on quickly before anyone tried to ask her a question.

**apologies, my accounts decided to switch back..

Ilija was relieved slightly when he heard he’d made it to the right place, although he was on edge as Alice looked straight at him. Not just that, she actually knew his name. With words failing him he eventually managed to reply to her with half a smile and a brisk nod, annoyed at himself for not being able to introduce himself properly to her and the rest of the group. As he sat down, he felt his knee bump against something under the table, and he peered towards his feet to see another student hiding underneath it. The shy Hufflepuff was distracted once more when another student joined them, another that he’d never spoken to. Quietly he opened out the book he’d brought with him, and risking a glance back at the host he tried to observe subtly.

Ava jumped as she was almost instantly discovered by Alice. She pouted a bit. "Allieeeee," She whined a little, "You weren't supposed to see me." She pouted, but gathered her books anyway and popped up into a chair next to the boy that had peeked in on her. "Hi! She said Ilija, right?" She gave him a bright smile. "Avaria," She introduced herself, blowing a raspberry at Vader. "You better drink that!" She scolded him gently, not liking how tired he looked. She would have to try and get him to nap later. She sighed, turning back to her book and flipping it open. It only took her a few minutes of reading before she groaned and started thudding her head against her book. "I don't like this," She told the boy next to her. "Transfiguration is hard," She muttered.

Vader forced a smile at her and nodded, "I'm feeling fine, just busy with the end of term but the exams will be fine, hopefully," he told Alice as he got himself together to revise. He didn't spot Helene when she entered the room and rushed under the table, but the water that appeared beside of him caused a small smile and a roll of his eyes. He didn't reach for it, instead looked towards the other boy who arrived, he didn't know him particularly well, but had seen him in some classes. He gave a little smile to the boy as he lightly rubbed his eyes, hoping he didn't look too tired in front of all these people. His gaze shifted to Isabelle as she entered the room and he gave a little nervous smile. He'd told Helene that he liked Isabelle, but he hadn't acted on it at all, almost hoped that Ava wouldn't remember. "Hey Isabelle," he greeted with a small smile, a little shy and a light pink tinge to his cheeks. He took the water when Helene told him too, drinking some of it, as he took out his divination work. He was sort of glad they weren't needing to cover the same thing. The professor had said, he should consider dropping divination, but he didn't know why, so maybe showing that he could get an O in the class would help. He took more drinks of the water, pretty thankful for Helene having given it to him, so he caught her eye quickly and mouthed a quick thank you before looking at his work, keen to just get focused and started.

With everyone arriving Alice was a bit distracted. But she was still pleased to see she had remembered the boy's name right. Ilija was a boy in her year, so it wasn't too strange she knew it. She laughed as Ava whined that she wasn't supposed to see her. "Then be less obvious, silly!" She admonished the girl gently. Ava sat next to the new boy, and then told Vader to drink water. Alice agreed, but she had the feeling telling Vader to do things wasn't the way to make him do them. He could be quietly stubborn. She had tried to tell him to drink less coffee, careful to phrase it nicely, but it hadn't stuck. "Ava, do you want my help with Transfiguration?" She asked the girl. Ava wasn't someone who enjoyed studying, and Alice wouldn't mind helping her a bit. Explaining things to other was one of the best ways to revise and learn things for yourself, she knew.

The girl who had been under the table introduced herself as Avaria, and proceeded to chatter around the table. For a study group, the students here or at least one in particular, did seem quite loud. The third year glanced down beside them to see Avas transfiguration book out on the desk and he nodded in agreement. “I..” before Ilija could get any further, Alice had already spoken up and before he knew it, offered to help her with instead. Quickly, and hoping she hadn’t heard him to save them both the embarrassment, he returned his eyes to his own textbook, trying to ignore how intimated he was feeling.

The brunette smiled back at Alice as she welcomed her. This was her second meeting and she thought it was nice to see Alice again. She and Vader were sweet to her and she kind of saw them as friends, at least that was what they spoke of at the halloween event. They had made some pictures and Vader would still have them she figured. '' Hi Alice. Thank you. Nice to be here again.'' She than said with a sweet smile and took some books out of her bag. When Vader greeted her back and said her name he seemed really cute, he smiled at her and Isabelle just felt her cheeks burning up so decided to hide her head into a book that she opened. She looked at the other girl one of her roommates and smiled towards her. She seemed to be knowing Vader too. The brunette looked at the boy from hufflepuff that was reading a book. '' What are you studying?'' the brunette than asked friendly. She figured making conversation with others as Vader was good too. And she was too nervous to say anything more now to him.

Ilija was too busy trying not to get the attention of Alice to realise he was being spoken to. "Oh.." the Hufflepuff glanced up as the brunette from Ravenclaw was asking him a question, although Ilija had to guess what she'd asked of him because his ears hadn't been paying attention. "Herbology?" he offered, trying his luck that it was the answer she was looking for. He didn't mind the subject too much but it was always more confusing on paper than it was out in the greenhouses. "Are you taking that?" he offered, hoping to get the conversation back on anyone but himself. The book in front of him contained the textbook he needed to learn for the exams at the end of the year, and it was probably the hardest one he found to memorise.
