Thinking.

"It just scares me when people get hurt." She mumbled, "Especially when they start bleeding from their head."
 
"Aww"Max said then said"It is okay though it will take a lot more to do me in." Max said smiling then asked"Why does it make you so scared?"
 
She smiled a bit, then looked at him, "Because I feel like if someone gets hurt and I can't help... That I'm kind of useless..."
 
Max looked up from her lap and said"Well you have helped me." Max said smiling while still hurt from the fall it took more out of him then he thought.
 
"Here." She took of her sweater and placed it behind his head, "That way you'll be a little more comfortable." She ran her fingers through his hair and tried to make him feel a bit better.
 
Max was beginning to feel better then he asked without thinking"so what attracted you to your boyfriend?"Max then realized that probably wasn't smart but he really did wonder.
 
Eleona looked at him, "Well...I dunno. We got set up by my friend, and when we talked everything just... clicked. You know when you meet someone and everything just seems right?" She bit her lip and thought that wasn't the best thing to say, but he did ask.
 
Max looked up at her and said"Yea I think I do." then smiled at her.
 
Eleona smiled and met his gaze, "I'm glad you did."
 
Max wasn't sure what to do but he just looked into her eyes then broke the connection so she didn't feel guilty like earlier even if he was hurt he didn't want her sad.
 
Eleona looked down at him and began stroking his hair again, this time like she did for her little brother. It always seemed to relax him and she hoped it would help Max.
 
Max started to become more and more relaxed as Eleona stoked his hair it actually felt really nice to him and he found himself almost asleep in her lap.
 
She also started humming, seeing as Max was falling asleep. She couldn't help but notice he was cute when he was tired, but couldn't say anything. Eleona smiled gently and let him rest.
 
Max feel asleep as Eleona started humming it was so peaceful and he couldn't help but give in to his heavy eyes so he fell asleep in her lap and dreamed peacefully.In fact through his dream her humming went on.
 
Eleona had a strong urge to make her life seem like a movie and kiss him there on the spot. But life isn't always a movie and she settled on a soft peck on his head, then hoped he wouldn't notice.
 
Max was still asleep when he felt something hit his head and decided to let it pass he really wasn't sure but he thought he just got kissed but he told himself he was only dreaming and kept his eyes closed and hoped she didn't mind him sleeping in her lap.
 
Eleona sighed for a moment and wondered what he was thinking. Of course her head was filled with a whirlwind of emotions... Lust, attraction, guilt, happiness... She was feeling them all, and all because of one encounter. However she wasn't going to cheat. That was just too wrong.
 
Max eventually opened his eyes and could see she was thinking of a lot of things then said"May I ask what your thinking about?"
 
"...Max... We need to take a break. Until I get this sorted out... I don't think we should talk." She inhaled sharply and helped him up.
 
Max got up a little sore still and said"I understand remember if you need to find me or get this sorted out ill be here in the tower." Max was almost always in the tower it had become almost like a second home to him.
 
"Thanks..." She mumbled, then walked out. After all, she knew she loved Xavier. And doing this to him would break him in two. Maybe this was just for the best. Hopefully they, at some point, would become friends. But not now.
 
Max watched her walk out then ran past her out the tower he remembered something he had to do and needed to get it done whether he got hurt or not.
