Snow was irritated with her rose but she wasn't about to let that ruin her day. No she was going to go outside and enjoy the warmth they were getting. She wore shorts, tennis shoes, and a tank top - needing to soak up as much sun as possible. The winter months always left her so pale after all. She was smelling the pink rose she had been given as she walked, at least it smelled nice. She only stopped short when she noticed someone familiar a little ahead of her. "Greg!" She said smiling as she jogged over to where he was. "Hey, everything okay?" She asked, noticing he looked upset.

Roses were a bad idea, and he knew next time, he had to opt out of it. He had to not bother with it in every way, because he was going to deal with the odd roses and half-hearted messages in them. The one from obviously cassius had been horrible, no matter how right it probably was. He remained at the lake front with the rose and note in hand and just sighed. He wasn't alone for too long when one of the few friends he had left in this place joined him. "Oh, yeah," he said shrugging, "Just roses," he held out the note that he had been given, trusting at least her.

Snow had a concerned look on her face as he said roses. She looked down and took the note before reading it. Her face was obviously irritated. But she softened it. Right now wasn’t about being angry at Cassius, who most likely wrote this note, but about being supportive of Gregory. “This note is silly. It obviously doesn’t know how much your friends and family care about you.” She paused briefly. “Greg can I give you a hug, or is there anything I can do to help after you got this crappy note?”

Gregory watched Snow as she read the note, glad for her company. She was a good friend to him, one of only a few that he had. "He's a little right," Gregory replied with a frown, not going into more detail unless she asked for it. "I think a hug would be nice," he agreed, not moving or anything, but would just allow her to hug him.

Snow offered a look to Gregory when he said that meat head was a little right. She wanted to argue with Gregory, but there were better ways to prove him wrong. She moved forward and embraced him tightly, like she would often embrace her sister so that she felt less sad on the days when she did. "You are so important to so many people." She muttered.

Gregory was glad when she didn't fight him on it and instead just hugged him. He eagerly hugged her back, he didn't believe the words necessarily but it wasn't necessary. he just felt warmed by the comfort of his only friend. Of the one person who was actually nice to him, and was on his side about how people like Cassius treated him.

Snowdrop stayed in the hug probably longer than she would have with most other people, but she could tell he needed it. She sighed slightly, before pulling back, hands still on Gregory's shoulder. Wordlessly she offered a smile, hoping the kindness she was showing would outweigh the crap that Cassius had said. She'd have some choice words with him when she got a chance she was sure, but for now this was about making Greg feel better. "is there anything you'd like to do to take your mind off it?" She asked, moving her hands away from him now.

Gregory glanced at Snow as she pulled out of the hug and just sat back. He gave a deep sigh and shook his head a little. "No, just sitting with you is enough," he said. Snow was his friend, she understood and knew that Cassius was terrible. He could just sit with her and be able to enjoy his friend's company. "Thanks,"
