Arthur had sworn he'd seen a familiar face around the Gryffindor common room and out around the school. He had met Elizabeth before school began, and they'd had quite an adventure that day. He wondered if she would be up for more adventures. He had spent the morning looking for the girl in the castle, but he'd had no luck. He sighed, wandering outside. Perhaps he would have better luck finding her out here. He made his way out to the lake, keeping his eyes open for any sign of the girl.

Issac was bored all morning, he had nothing to do. All he did that morning was walk around the castle, possibly trying to avoid his sister. She meant well, but she kept getting onto Issac's nerves. He wanted to have some adventure but didn't know what sort of adventure he wanted to do. He decides to walk to the lake and sat on a rock that was nearby the lake. He liked the scenery of the lake. It was interesting and beautiful to him.

Issac then decided that after a few minutes of looking out towards the lake, that he was going to skid some stones across the lake to see which one skidded the longest across the lake. As he was skidding the stones across the lake. He notices that there is a boy around his age, walking out towards the lake. The boy was familiar to him because he had been in the same house, classes and dorm as him, but had never really had the chance to talk to the boy. Issac then decided to stop skidding the stones across the lake and walked towards the boy. "Anything you find interesting about the lake?" Issac says curiously with a small smile and putting his hands in his pocket. Issac thought that maybe starting a conversation would help.

OOC: Sorry! I edited this and changed it slightly, as I didn't read the starting properly! My apologies! :)

Elizabeth had spent the day walking back and forth just on the edge of the forbidden forest. She wanted to go back in, but she needed a better plan. Last time she attracted too much attention and a centaur fire an arrow towards them. Staring into the woods, she sighed. It's not that she wanted to break the rules, but there were so many cool trees to climb there and it was a thrill. She turned around and started walking back towards the castle. A different day. Elizabeth still had plenty of time left at Hogwarts to explore the forest.

Noticing some students around the lake, Elizabeth decided to make her way over there instead. She preferred being outdoors. As she got closer she quickly recognized Issac who was her partner in Charms and then another familiar face. "Arthur!" She was surprised to see him, simply because they hadn't really run into each other before now. Elizabeth stood next to the two boys and tucked a piece of hair behind her ear. "Hey, Issac." She said giving him a smile.

Now that Summertime was starting, Kas was finding himself begrudgingly wanting to spend more and more time outside. He wasn't really a big 'outdoors' person, but at least outside it was a bit less crowded and noisy all the time. And he was far less likely to be engaged in an overly friendly conversation with someone than if he hung out in the common room. Spotting a familiar face near the lake, Kas rerouted his casual stroll that way curious to see if Elizabeth was planning any more life-threatening jaunts again today.

"Hey Elizabeth, good to see you haven't been abducted by centaurs yet," He said with a small wave, making his way over. He recognized Arthur and knew the other kid from class, though not very well, but they were all Gryffindors, and Kas regarded them carefully. If hanging out around Elizabeth was teaching him anything, it's that the Gryffindor reputation for trouble was completely justified. "You guys planning on starting a fight with a mermaid or something this time?" He asked, making a show of peering into the lake blandly. He was pretty sure he'd heard something about there being merfolk in the lake and he wouldn't put it past a couple of Gryffindors to try to find out.

Arthur paused as one of his roommates approached him, Isaac. "Not yet." He answered, turning his eyes to roam around them. He let a slight smile grace his lips as he spotted Elizabeth. There she was. He turned back to his roommate. "Now I have." He told him. Arthur looked up as Kas came by, too. He ignored the jibe about mermaids, shrugging and looking to Elizabeth. His only plan had to been to find the other Gryffindor. Now that he'd found her- and Isaac, and Kasim, but other than that, he was open for pretty much anything. He stuck his hands in his pockets, looking around at the three surrounding him.

Issac smiles and nods when Arthur had found on what or who apparently, he had found. He notices that his classmate, Elizabeth, who he had paired with, in one of his classes. "Hey Elizabeth," Issac says with a smile and a small wave. He then notices someone else coming this way. He knew that the boy was in his classes, though he didn't know his name. "No, I don't think the mermaids would be interested in that right now," Issac says with a slight shrug and smile as he answered the boy's mermaid question. He looked out to the lake again. He was starting to get slightly bored again, but he wanted to do something entertaining and fun, just didn't know what.

Elizabeth stuck her tongue out at Kas as he approached the trio of Gryffindors. "The Amazing and Daring Elizabeth getting abducted by centaurs? Not likely." She boasted with a giggle, greeting her friend with a wave. Their last encounter in the Forbidden Forest did frighten Elizabeth, but she wasn't likely to admit it. "I thought the mermaids were a myth, to be honest." She said with a shrug, squinting into the lake. Elizabeth wouldn't fight a mermaid, even if they were real. "The lake does look quite inviting." She hesitated, giving the boys a daring look.

"Would trampled be a better word?" He said with false brightness, pulling a face right after so Elizabeth knew he was kidding. Mostly. He still hadn't quite gotten over their little forest adventure last time, every self-preservation instinct screaming at the memory as he stepped closer to the Gryffindors.

When it seemed like none of the Gryffindors were actually planning anything daring or chivalrous or stupid or whatever it was they were supposed to do, Kas felt himself relax some, peering into the water pensively. Inviting was a word for it. Awful was another. "At the very least there's gross kelp or mud or something in there, so I have zero interest in testing that theory." He said, selecting a stick from the shoreline to stir up some of the silt in the shallows.

Elizabeth rolled her eyes with a laugh. She had enjoyed her time in the forest and fully intended on going in there again. "Aw, Kas. I didn't realize you were so scared of the forest." She teased in return. Peering into the lake she turned her nose at the idea of a mysterious sludge in the bottom of the lake. "Who wants to go in first?" Elizabeth challenged the three boys that stood by the lakes edge with her. She wasn't completely convinced it was safe to swim in, but it was a nice day outside.

Issac thought about Elizabeth's question. He looked into the lake and then back at her and the other two boys. "Yeah, I'm not gonna go in. Or even go in first" Issac says, while shaking his head and putting his hands in his pockets. He didn't mind swimming but it just looked too cold to go in. "Looks fun, but I'd rather not get sick from that cold lake," Issac says with a small smile a shrug.

Arthurian was observing the others quietly. This could be interesting. "Ladies first," He told Elizabeth. If she wanted in the water, she would have to take the first leap. Unless Arthur just happened to... knock someone in. But who? The hufflepuff was too obvious a choice. Arthur studied the others. Who should take a little dip with him? Hm...

"I'd like to call it a healthy distaste for the forest, thank you very much," Kas said primly to Elizabeth, scrunching his face up. She was clearly unfazed by nearly being made into a centaur pincushion, and Kas figured he really shouldn't be surprised by that.

Kas gave the mud another solid poke before withdrawing the stick and making a face at the collected goo there. But it was disappointing that all the Gryffindors seemed to have suddenly grown a sense of common sense. He'd been kind of looking forward to sitting on the shore making catty remarks while they splashed around. "Aren't you guys supposed to be like, chivalrous and brave or something? Some much for house pride." He said, flicking some of the mud off the stick with a grimace as it splattered on the ground near his feet.

Elizabeth scrunched her face up in disappointment at the boy's lack of enthusiasm for the lake, then again at the sludge Kas played with. She didn't want to be covered in whatever that was. "We are brave!" Elizabeth chimed proudly folding her arms with a gracious smile. Of course, she would do whatever it took to defend Gryffindor's honor. "Lions aren't scared of a little... sludge and... murky water." She hesitated trying to find the words to describe this ridiculous stance. Elizabeth knew it was silly, but there was no going back now.

Taking off running along the side of the lake, Elizabeth kicked off her sneakers as she jumped as far as she could into the lake. SPALSH. The water surrounded the young Gryffindor as she kicked her legs and pushed towards the top of the water. As she reached the surface, she took in a big gulp of fresh air. She wasn't exactly wearing attire for swimming and she possibly ruined one of her favorite flowery tank tops. Elizabeth wiped the water from her eyes and peered over at the boys. "Who's scared now?" She taunted as a slimy sensation began to creep up her leg.

Issac was confused as he watched where the Gryffindor girl was going and realised that she was going to the lake. When Elizabeth hit the water with a SPLASH, Issac's eyes widened with surprise. He looked at the other boys to see what their reaction was to this. He made his way to the edge of the lake, bent down to touch the temperature of the water. It didn't feel too bad. "Is it slimy and yuck down there?" Issac asks with some curiosity lingering in his question. He's now thinking if he would like to go into the lake, he doesn't have to much time to think because he feels that someone had either pulled or pushed him into the lake with a SPLASH. Issac comes out of the lake to catch his breath and turned to the others. "Who did that?" Issac says with a small laugh, letting the others know that he wasn't mad for being pushed in, and somehow enjoying the muddy and slimy water.

Arthur grinned widely as Elizabeth jumped into the lake, slipping off his own shoes before darting forward, taking hold of Isaac and throwing them both into the drink. He emerged from the water, hair wet and laughing. He turned to look at Kas. "Your turn." He challenged slightly, though he highly doubted the Hufflepuff would follow them in.

"Mmhmm," Kas responded disinterestedly to Elizabeth's grandstanding, trying to wipe off the stick he'd picked up on some nearby grass before deciding it was a lose cause and discarding it. He couldn't help but roll his eyes and smirk when Elizabeth managed to work herself up enough to take off running, politely clapping when she dove into the lake. "Bravo. Very brave," He called out to her.

It didn't take much longer for Arthur to drag the other Gryffindor into the lake after and Kas huffed in amusement. He shook his head vehemently when it was suggested he might join them though. "No thanks, I'm more of an observer than a doer. Besides, you'll need someone to tell your story if you get eaten by a kelpie or something." Kas said easily. There probably weren't any kelpies in the lake. Probably. And he had zero interest in getting wet today taking a few pointed steps away from the shore to emphasize that.

Elizabeth rolled her eyes at Kas’s applause and before she could respond, Arthur had ahold of Issac and they both joined her in the murky waters. Uncontrollable laughter ripped through her as Issac was shocked by the event. “Yeah, your turn Kas!” She swam towards the other Gryffindors, shaking her head in shame at the Hufflepuff on the shore. Elizabeth had no idea if there were kelpies in the lake and to be honest, she barely knew what they were. With a shrug, she looked at Issac and Art. “Next time, let's plan on wearing out swimsuits.” She giggled at the thought of them swimming in the lake again. Motioning to her fellow lions, she whispered to them. “Let’s get him.” Elizabeth charged out of the water and towards Kas, who had already taken a few steps back.
