Had it not been for Archie, Orwell would not have understood his costume with Archie, but thanks to him, and many late nights spent curled up together he had watched the star wars films, or well some of them. The teen had decided with Archie that they would go as some of the characters, it had taken a while to put the costume together. Orwell was dressed as Hans Solo, and with Archie dressed as Luke skywalker he was so happy. The boy was meeting his best friend at the great hall and the boy was putting the final parts into a costume that he was wearing. The boy had recently dyed his hair red, and though it didn't fit with the rest of the costume but Orwell wasn't going to sit and change his hair back to a normal colour for this purpose, he thought it added a little more to the costume, it made it more Orwell and less just normal.

The teen walked into the the great hall with a huge smile on his face, the king of the flowers was wandering around the room until he spotted Archie in his costume and the boy raced over to him, hugging him from behind and holding him tightly. Leaning his head against the other boy's back. Orwell was so excited to see his best friend. He loved going to halloween with him, and it was going to be the the last one they spent together in the school and Orwell wasn't sure of how popular halloween was outside of the school. Orwell pulled away and stood in front of the boy, "I love you," the teen said, taking a small step back, "Are we ready to fight the evil facist federation?" the king of the flowers said to him and grinned happily, it was good fun. This would be the best time with his best friend.

Archie's costume for the previous Halloween feast was great enough to win an award in the yearbook, but annoying enough that he never wanted to spend an entire night in an itchy blonde wig ever again. So the idea to go as Luke Skywalker and Han Solo from Star wars was one that Archie thought was ingenious. It didn't require wearing any form of a wig, skin tight leather pants or even loud, clunky jewellery like his costume from last year which meant he could be comfortable as he celebrated his final Halloween feast at Hogwarts. He had seen some of the star wars movies himself after hearing about them from Elliot, and was glad to have watched them all over again with Orwell in preparation for that night. Finding his costume was considerably easy as all he needed was a loose, white wrap around robe, matching white pants, a brown belt and a green light saber. Everything was easy to find except the light saber, but with Elliot's help and a trip to the muggle world he managed to find the perfect one that even receded into the handle with a press of a button. As he walked into the great hall that evening he smiled wide, feeling pleased with himself and his costume.

It was fun to swish the light saber back and forth while imitating the noises it made in the movies. Archie did this until he walked to one of the tables and was made to put the light saber away on his belt. He grabbed a handful of candy from the nearest bowl and began chowing down as he felt a pair of arms wrap around his torso. Archie leaned into the hug, knowing it couldn't be anyone but Orwell in his matching Han Solo costume. "I love you too." Archie said, mouth still half full with candy as he turned around to face his best friend. "Federation? Don't you mean the Empire?" He then said after swallowing, pulling his light saber from his belt and imitating it's buzzing noises again as he swished it back and forth, careful not to accidentally hit Orwell with it in the process.

Orwell laughed lightly at the incorrectness of his statement, it had been the first time he'd ever seen the films and it was barely surprising he had gotten what they were wrong, but the teen was still pretty happy with the costume and the effort they had both made for it. The teen stood away and took out the fake gun that he had, "I'll always shoot first!" he said putting on the best sort of accent that he could for the character that he was playing but the thickness of his natural accent did seem to win out. But, regardless of that the teen was smiling at his best friend and just took his gun and like Archie was making noises of the light saber, he made the noises of the gun, likely the only time Orwell would ever handle such a thing. But, after a moment he just grabbed Archie's hand and took him to where others were dancing. It was always good fun to just spend time with his best friend, in a costume they had gotten together, it was what they'd been doing for several years, and it just felt like a good thing to have also done it this time, during their final year of school. Orwell didn't let go of Archie's hand as he began dancing, just enjoying the music and the time he spent with his best friend.
