The Stands

Felix was more excited for Quidditch than usual this season. On one hand he was an alternate for the Ravenclaw team, his playing time might not be great but he was happy to be on the team. On the other, he got to watch his now girlfriend Lydia play for Hufflepuff. It was safe t say he would be cheering on the badgers whenever they played. Except when he played against them of course. Felix made his way up to the stands after wishing Lydia good luck before she headed onto the changing rooms. He found himself a seat with some of his housemates and clapped his hands together. "Go Hufflepuff, With the opposition Slytherin he suspected he wasn't the only Ravenclaw cheering on the champions.

Professor Kingsley didn't know what was happening as the game began, but she knew something was up. With her eyes narrowed, the woman stood up on her seat to better see what was happening with the Gryffindor team. They hadn't played very well last season, but she thought a new season and the long break would give the team the energy they needed.

Orwell had been busy to say the least, he had been surprised when he'd been approached by Jean for advice on the strike they were having, but it hadn't exactly been unknown to him the trouble, given his friendship with Archie, but he had a huge amount of respect for them, really taking a stand when they unhappy about something that wasn't being resolved, and he was happy to give them all the advice he could on it. Orwell had given them words of strength, knowing that caving no matter how important it felt like would be hard, they wanted to play, they wanted to win, but they were opting not to play which could cost the team a game. He knew that would hard, but he was glad to see the resolve standing. Orwell was as close as he could manage to be, and was looking at Archie with a smile of his face, hoping he would spot him, and the thumbs up he was giving them, Orwell knew the consequences of this might not be good, but Orwell stood that if you wanted something sometimes you have to do difficult, unfavourable things. Orwell had wanted to try to drum up support during the game for them, but he figured that might be a little hard.

Marisol had heard enough of this 'Quidditch' thing buzzing around school by all the students, for her interest to be piqued. All she knew was that it was a sport and it got very competitive, so she wanted to check it out for herself. She knew that her House was playing today so she was even more excited to see what this game was all about and hope they won.

She was shocked that it required flying on brooms to play, but from the golden hoops on either end, she could guess how points were scored, unaware of the other balls involved in the game. However once the game started she saw lots of commotion from her House's team and couldn't seem to figure out what was happening. She saw a girl call for a timeout and the Gryffindor line up seemed to change. "Is this normal for a Quidditch game?" she asked out loud to no one in particular. It was hard enough for her trying to figure out how this game was played, but even more confusing when the Gryffindor team shook things up.

Lydia was cheering on the Ravenclaw team, and most specifically Felix, she was really getting into the game, even though there seemed to be issues with the Gryffindor team. However as the game progressed, she couldn't help but be sucked into how exciting it was. She winced every time the bludgers made contact with someone, feeling especially sorry for the Ravenclaw chaser who seemed to be visibly struggling. But she was cheering for Ravenclaw hoping they'd win this and soon.

Ares was with his brother in the Ravenclaw stands, kitted out in Ravenclaw gear for the purposes of this match, Ares cheered loudly for his brother, finding the beginning of the match a little confusing but focusing on the game as it got underway, but his cheers for his brother started to fade when his brother was hit, not just once but twice with a bludger, he could see that his brother was in trouble, he could tell, knowing his brother well enough to know when there was a problem, but no one seemed that concerned by it. Ares was no longer cheering, just hoping the game would end so that he could go see if Isaiah was alright.

As if the game wasn't already interesting enough with Gryffindor's dispute within their team, Marisol was completely shocked at the discovery of bludgers. How was this even allowed for students to play?! Although, as the game first got underway she had to admit it looked interesting, and it was definitely entertaining enough.

However as soon as she saw how one of her House's players had to be taken out after he'd been hit too many times by the heavy looking balls, she winced. It was even worse when she could see the Ravenclaw player particularly in great pain. She couldn't believe the game was still continuing even though the boy was so obviously injured! Besides, Ravenclaw had already scored a few times, how much longer did this game need to go on for? She wished she could ask those around her but they were all too enthralled in the game and there was so much cheering going on she could hardly hear anyway.

Orwell usually supported his house team or Archie, but with his house team playing, for once he had decided to support the Slytherins, he was supporting Kayleigh cheering on her loudly, adorning slytherin gear which felt pretty strange to him, but the brown haired teen was just happy. He usually would've turned his hair green but he'd forgotten about the game until too late and only managed to paint a little slytherin s on his cheek. The teen was happy that Ravenclaw were doing well but he really wanted the slytherins to win. He was pretty sure that Kayleigh currently had pink hair, but he couldn't be certain about it, "GO KAYLEIGH!" he yelled and cheered loudly. He had never been particularly loyal to his house and stood a little out of place amongst the slytherin supporters, cheering loudly for her.

Matthew hated watching Alana play against his own house, naturally he wanted his house to win but he hated seeing Alana struggle and feeling the wrath of her team mate. Esme needed to calm down she clearly took the game far too seriously. He looked around nervously at his fellow Ravenclaws as they ummed and arred at the game but Matthew couldn't take his eyes off the Slytherin keeper, hoping that each shot that came her way would be an easy save for her. So much for hluse spirit.

Seeing as the Gryffindors season was thankfully over, Jean was seated in the stands, much more relaxed than he usually was. The teenager was watching his brother and the rest of the Slytherins play, though he noticed that his brother wasn’t doing much. “Get your ass in there!” he yelled, cupping his hands around his mouth. He didn’t know what Lucien was playing at, but he knew that the guy had better get his head in the game. All of the Slytherins needed to. They were all just off today, or so it seemed to his eyes.
