Jack kewl calmly walked into the room he didn't quite want anyone to know he was gay yet. He looked around and wandered if any else was or if he was to be a out cast again. He shifted his glasses if there was one thing he didn't want to hide it was that he was smart.
Jack took his seat then when he heard his name called out he stood and smartly walked up to the sorting hat thinking Raveclaw over and over.

"Yes, yes. Alright. You'd think a Ravenclaw would have deeper thoughts than just one word. You heard me. RAVENCLAW!"

Violet entered the room in a casual manner. then took his seat. When he heard Rose, Violet called out he hissed quitly "Van i changed my name to Van!" But he was smart enogth to know not to say it loud enogth to be heard. He recited to him self E = mc sqaured and other brainy stuff as he walked over to the sorting hat and waited to be sorted certain that the sorting hat would make the smartest most sensiable choice.

"RAVENCLAW!"

Sephora walked with the other first years down the pathway to the stage - to the hat.
She looked around and saw the staring of the other students - Slytherin, Gryffindor, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw, Each table with students - giving looks of encouragement, as if they were saying everything will be okay.

"Everything willl be okay, breathe in and out, in and out."
Her thoughts giving her a calm confidence.

She looked at the other students around her, each one giving calm smiles to one another, she smiled to a small girl next to her who was sweating profusely.

"Finette, Sephora!"
She heard her name called out.
She walked slowly up onto the stage, hands still shaking, she gripped onto the stool tightly, feeling the hat being placed on her head gently.
"I really don't think I would like Slytherin...they look really mean and I don't think I'll make friends there...anything but Slytherin but I completely trust you will place me into the right house..." She thought, still staring at the four tables in front of her.

"No, you're not a Slytherin. You'd do quite well in Gryffindor, actually.... but I think your desire for friends places you in HUFFLEPUFF!"

Sephora sighed with relief and thought a message of thanks to the old sorting hat before bouncing off the stool to join with all the other first years in her house.

It felt although she had been waiting hours when she had only been standing outside the Great Hall for minutes. Izzy had waited long enough to arrive at Hogwarts and now she was standing behind a closed door with the other first years waiting to be sorted. The houses had all been explained to Isobel and she knew just from the descriptions that she couldn’t take anything other than Slytherin or Ravenclaw. Hufflepuff seemed far too nice and Gryffindor, well Isobel wouldn’t consider herself particularly courageous so ruled that one out so it had to be Ravenclaw or Slytherin.

Then finally, the doors opened to reveal the Great Hall, a magical room with an enchanted ceiling any muggle would not believe. She shook her head slowly, gaping at her first look at Hogwarts when someone poked her painfully in the back from behind. “Oi!” She protested, “Don’t poke me alright, I’ve never seen anything like this before and I’m taking it all in!” She wasn’t going to be hurried as she approached the Sorting Hat. Well, maybe she will be, she wanted to find out her house sooner rather than later.

She gathered with her other peers around an old hat. There was silence in the hall when it began to talk. “A talking hat, now that’s magic!” Izzy whispered to her neighbour, an unnaturally tall girl.

“Hayton, Isobel.” Izzy sighed as her name was called and she stepped forward for judgement.

“This hat isn’t going to mess my hair up is it?” She asked the Professor as it was placed on her head, hats usually did mess up her hair! She sighed again and then spoke to the hat, “Hello er-” She blushed suddenly, she must be crazy talking to a hat. Perhaps she should just leave the talking up to him (or her)... we’ll just call the hat an it.

"I'm generally referred to in the masculine, but that's no matter. SLYTHERIN!"

This is stupid. That was the first thing that ran through Angel's head. This has got to be a joke, seriously. Angel hated this school, hated all the people in it. The mere sight of them sent sparks of anger through Angel's body. She had been certain it was a joke, now... not so sure. Who in the universe would get so many people to play a joke on Angel? And this castle? And the train? The only people who played jokes on Angel were Lyn and Paul. If this was a joke, Lyn was either in on the secret, or a just as much a victim as Angel. Paul was Angel's friend, the only guy in the world who didn't mind that her only 'hobby' was ballet.

Many times Angel had told him ballet was not a hobby, but a way of life. Paul thought she was kidding. Angel was sure this wasn't Paul's work, the biggest prank he had pulled was ringing the fire bell at school. Normal school. That time when Angel and Lyn would wake up and go to school on the bus seemed life an entirely different time. Angel shook her head quickly. No, that was still real. Very soon somebody was going to pop up somewhere and yelled 'Fooled You!' But, no. Nobody did.

It was beginning to dawn on Angel that Hogwarts was somehow real. It was impossible, but as Lyn always said: 'Things are only impossible until they're not'. Angel loved her adopted sister, and was amazed that she was coming to Hogwarts too, if indeed this school for wizards was real.

'Dancer, Olivia.' Angel cringed at the foreign name. Why Olivia. Why not Scarlett, Mystic or something unique? There were thousands, millions of Olivias, and it did not seem correct that Angel had been given an ordinary name. She smiled, more a grimace really, and walked up to the sorting hat. "My name is Angel." she hissed to the person who had called out 'her name'. She pushed back her hair, which for once hadn't been tied in a bun, and sat down. "If this isn't a joke, I would love Ravenclaw please." Angel said politely. From what she had heard, Ravenclaw was the house for those willing to learn. Angel wasn't willing to learn magic, but she was intelligent.

"Your name is Olivia." The sorting hat murmered to the girl underneath him, "If the Headmaster calls you by your name - you'll deal with it. Not a very bright one, are you? Well, maybe you'll learn quick enough. RAVENCLAW!"

Lyn looked around the Great Hall, her mouth gaping open. "Angel, seriously. This is awesome!" The girl grinned, trying to look at everything at once. "Who cares if this is a joke, I wish I had a camera!" Lyn was straining not to start squealing. It hadn't occurred to Lyn that everyone could hear her, even over the babble of voices that filled the hall.

Prudence Lynette Dancer was in a new place, and ready to make the most of it. She had her ice-skates and ballet shoes packed, so she was happy to be here. She would see her sister, Angel looked a little irritated at Lyn's behavior, but Lyn honestly didn't care. "Fine, be grumpy somewhere else." Lyn sang, entering the mass of black-robed students.

She watched the students getting sorted, trying to remember names. Lyn was terrible with names, she remembered faces well though. Finally, 'Dancer, Prudence' was called. "Yes, that is my real name." Lyn said brightly to some sniggering girls. "What a pathetic name!" one hissed at her. Lyn shrugged, and went forwards to the stool. "Hi." she said cheerfully to the sorting hat, and sat down.

"You're much like your sister... but perhaps a bit more adventurous. Yes, that's it. GRYFFINDOR!"

Priscilla watched quietly as she entered the Great Hall, her eyes wide at all the amzing things around her. Students were around, eyes watching her like a hawk. She didn't flinch from their gaze, too busy examining the sorting hat at the end of the hall. It looked old and ragged, much like her grandmother's gardening hat, but there's something about this hat that intrigues her.

When her name was called out, Pricilla bit her tongue, refraining from correcting the caller. Her name might be Starre Pricilla Bleu, but everyone calles her Priscilla. It's always been like that since she was just a toddler. It's the only name she answer to, for it's the name of her late mother.

Slowly, as the hat descended on her head, she wondered what her mother might htink if she was alive right now. Will she be glad that she's here, in Hogwarts NZ; will she be nervous, that Priscilla is finally starting her magical schooling? She felt the hat move, and Priscilla stiffened under it. What will it say?

"You'll find your success lies in HUFFLEPUFF!"

This is a mandatory field. If it is not completed with a roleplay you will not be sorted.

Note: Because this is your second time submitting the form I will sort you. However, as this is a roleplaying site, you should roleplay. ;) To learn more about roleplaying please see this documentation.

"SLYTHERIN!"

Indigo stepped comfidently through the big doors into the great hall. He tried to memorize some of the faces as he walked passed so he could mingle with them later. Working out in his head of where the students were sitting, he was smiling around the room. Both his parents had been in exactly the same place and he was doing it himself. He hated the idea of different blood status's and hope he would be able to get along friendly with everyone.

"Moon, Indigo" his name was called. He squeezed through the crowd of first years and took his seat nervously on the stool for his house to be revealed.

"You're a smart one. Yes, you'll fit in nicely in RAVENCLAW!"

Dallas entered the hall with the rest of the, quite large, group. He was amazed by the decorations but still slightly worried about this whole thing. He still wasn't sure if he liked the idea of being magical.
Dallas waited patiently as other students around him walked up to the hat, who had been singing at some point which freaked him out slightly, and were sorted to different tables. Slowly he learnt wich table belonged to which house.

"Fairchild, Dallas"

Dallas took a breath when his name was called and took his place on the seat. He waited for the hat to yell a random house, that's what it seemed to do anyway. It was like a lucky dip.

"Random houses? Definitely not. You have a lot to learn about Hogwarts, about me, and about magic.... what better house to do that in than RAVENCLAW!?"

Standing alone in the crowd of excited and anxious first years wondering what house they will be put in I being no different I am so excited about finnaly knowing what house ill be in! I feel like im about to explode. As im walking up to the hat i trip of course, i get up brush it off and don't let the laughter get to me, whats the point everyone does dumb things and gets laughed at. As i take my seat on the worn wodden stool the sorting hat being placed on my head. I can't wait to start pulling pranks on my house, Ive already got some planed, opps probley not something i should be thinking about right now. All im thinking is "I just want to have fun!"

"You'll have plenty of fun and adventure in GRYFFINDOR!"

I sit near the front getting mounted by other students. I feel invisible and I keep gazing at how hot and awesome Malfoy looks. I really wish he could see what a great girl I am. As I walk up to sit under the hat, my emotions go crazy.

Sitting under the hat, I look around and see the different faces then I stop. I just hope I get the chance to be in Slytherin with my evil classmates especially Malfoy =]

<snip: You may not sort yourself.>

Sorting Hat's Post:
"Slytherin, you think? No, that's not for you. You're a RAVENCLAW!"
Note: Remember to roleplay in the third person. Use "she" instead of "I" etc.

This has got to be the most elaborate joke ever played Jude thought as he entered the great hall. He listened intently to the speaches, snickering slightly at jokes in his head. During the part about not entering the Forbidden Forest, he turned to the girl next to him with a deadly serious look. Raising one eyebrow at her, he said "You can enter my forbidden forest, know what I mean?" The Girl rolled her eyes and pinched him, then walked away after stopming on his foot. "OW! Geez killer, it was just a joke." he exclaimed. "Huh, tough crowd."

Before he knew it, his name was being called. He began sauntering up to the stool only to trip and fall flat on his face. nice man, reaaaaal nice Jude thought to himself as he stood. Deciding to play it off, Jude stood up and took a bow shouting, "Thank you! I'll be here for the next seven years! Shows are on Thursdays!" before plopping down upon the chair and putting the hat on his head.

"There's one of you in every class, isn't there? Alright, then. You're a GRYFFINDOR!"

Show time, rite?

Dawn has take a route with another student. Walking, observe intently to the big castle in front of him, and once in a while, he smile to another student that turns their head to Dawn's face. This castle was great. He can seeing a perfect architecture when he walking up through the marble stairs. Oh, Dawn never imagined that he will completed his life during seven years in this place.

And now, he was standing in the great hall. The great place with four long tables and flying candles floating everywhere. The sky has interesting too. From the book that ever he read, the sky was charmed with magical spell until the condition was same with the sky in the outside of castle. Dawn smiling again, more to his own self.

Next was the song from moldy hat at the chair beside the teacher. Its called sorting hat. Hei, Dawn knowing about this from book that ever he reads. So, don't show your surprised face like that.

"Rain, Dawn,"

Eh? Can you hear that. Dawn's name has been called by the teacher. Wow, now the real selection has come. Dawn take a walk to the podium. Sat at the chair, and the sorting hat full his head. Well, Dawn's job has done. Now, he just need to stay calm, so that the sorting hat can choose the best house for him.

"You're most definitely a RAVENCLAW!"
Note: Please remember to roleplay in the past tense. For instance "Next thing he knew, he was in the Great Hall" instead of "And now, he was standing in the great hall".

Matteo strode confidently into the Great Hall with the line of other first years. He already towered over most of them. There were a few though, that he would have to watch out for. He eyed the crowds of students with a condescending eye. Interesting place, he thought. He'd never seen anything like it before. His parents never would've told him about it. No, they were Muggles, as these people called it. He shrugged, hoping he wouldn't be shunned because of that. He rather liked the snakes on the green and silver banners. They looked pretty cool, although he did have to admit, the lions were awesome too. But red wasn't his color. He stood in line, waiting for his name. It would be near the middle of the list, and they were nearing him.

"Lim, Matteo!" He grinned and stepped forward, taking a seat down on the bench to be sorted. A raggedy old hat was placed on his head, and he grimaced a bit, but tried to not let his displeasure show. It would be over soon enough.

"You are without a doubt a SLYTHERIN!"
