The small village of Godric's Hollow has always been one of special interest to the wizarding world. Many famous witches and wizards have lived in the muggle community. It was in Godric's Hollow that baby Harry Potter defeated the dark lord after his father and mother gave their lives so that he may live. Today the Potter's continue to live in the small town only a few houses away from the one that was destroyed that fateful night. Near the old cemetery where the Potter's graves lied is an old church that had been decorated in for a special occasion. Small fires had been lit as snow fell onto the ground and a woman sat near a piano waiting patiently for the wedding to begin. Inside were several witches and wizards dressed up in muggle attire, most famous was perhaps Harry James Potter himself as he stood near his son on perhaps the biggest day of his life.
Two day's earlier, James Potter and Kiera Kingsley had showed up and told James' family of their intentions to marry, Ginny was left stunned however quickly recovered and wish them the best giving them her blessings. Harry on the other hand had been angry thinking that they didn't know what they were getting into and that they were both still young however after a private word from his wife, he calmed down and offered his support. The two day's in between were perhaps some of the busiest and most secretive days the Potters had in a long time. Those days have passed with James now standing next to his father as Pastor Reverens appeared, the final preparations already completed as Ravyn Daniels leaves the back where she had spent a day and a night altering a rather large wedding dress to fit her friend's future wife.
"I remember when your father was just a baby!" Pastor Reverens said with a broad smile, he was over seventy years old and had lived in Godric's Hollow for the past sixty years. He was kind old Muggle that had never judged anyone and had always been kind to the Potters, even when their son appeared on his church door asking for him to conduct a wedding in less then a week. "It's a shame about that gas leak explosion in your old house though" Pastor Reverens said facing Harry with a grimace "you were staying with relatives at the time weren't you Harry?" Pastor Reverens asked remembering that to this day not much had even been said about what had destroyed the Potter house more then forty years ago. Witnesses had remembered a bright green light before an explosion that had destroyed the entire house. "Yes, Mr. Reverens I was staying with my Aunt and Uncle" Harry said as though he'd mentioned this more then once.
"Well I'm glad you came back to our small village to raise your family, did you ever think about just rebuilding your old house though?" Pastor Reverens asked knowing that perhaps it would've been cheaper for Harry and Ginny to simply rebuild rather then buy a new one that they ended up fixing up. "Well, I think I like it the way it is" Harry said a bit more casually then normal. Muggles wouldn't know that the house had since become a symbol to the Wizarding World, one that brought hope to even the smallest of children that evil can always be overcome even if it's from the most unlikely of sources. "Well, I think I understand" Pastor Reverens said not quite sure but figured it had something to do with respecting Harry's parents. "James my lad, you ready to get this show on the road?" Pastor Reverens asked the young man who looked slightly ill.
James looked at Pastor Reverens and couldn't help but feel the lump in his throat. "I've never been more ready sir" James said knowing that while he did feel a bit nervous about getting married, he didn't know who he'd rather be with for the rest of his life. Getting married was a bit scary but knowing that he was marrying Kiera made him feel all the more better. James loved Kiera and was glad that his family was accepting of her because she would now be apart of their family and while at first his parents were nervous with his decision they now seemed interested in when to expect grandchildren. James had tried to laugh it off but knew that both he and Kiera had things they wanted to do before they settled down and had kids, like getting married again in June. James waited patiently at the alter for the sound of the piano and bells that would signal the start of the rest of his life.
