The Perfect Cinderella Wedding

Katarzyna was never a fan of weddings. She found the majority of them to just be way too long and a pain to sit through. A lot of couples didn’t even survive long in marriage anyways so why have a Ceremony trying to honor something that could just fall apart. Then again this boy looked like he really loved Alyssa, if he was willing to plan an entire wedding by himself just for her. It was really sweet and Katarzyna was almost jealous of her niece. To have someone love her that much was amazing, and there was a part of her that wished she was actually decent enough to attract men. But they seemed to avoid her like the plague. The tall brunette followed her sisters Seraphine and Zuri before she sat down and crossed her legs. Katarzyna was proud that her sister had gotten Minister but she hoped it wouldn’t make less time for her to spend time with her family. It was already lonely enough with just Zuri sometimes, she never talked so Kat wasn’t sure if talking to her sister was a good idea. Her blue eye scanned the area and she smiled to herself, no sign of Alphonse or any of this lackey’s so Alyssa and her future husband might just have it easy, surely the man wouldn’t allow the wedding to go on if he had heard about it. After the wedding the party sounded like fun too, it would give them time to spend with their family and she was sure it would be cute to watch Alyssa and her man try to keep their hands off one another. If they could even manage that.

Daniella loved weddings. Well she mostly loved the excuse to dress up and catch the eye of amazing looking guys who came to the wedding and didn't happen to be related to her side of the family, she didn't flirt with them though. That was her sisters job for the most part. Hers was just to make them look like idiots in front of everyone for the laughs, yes Daniella was the mean one who just liked to ruin life after life. Though today she promised that she would behave herself, at least during this wedding. It was her older sister Alyssa's and even though everyone knew it was against the rules to marry an Auror in the Snow family, they all came anyways. It was a huge deal because Alyssa would be the first out of all of them to get married, and that was like a headliner right there. Alyssa was adding another line to their large family and it would be good to see some new faces finally on the tree. While she was being the first to get married Xavier was going to be the first to have children, it was hilarious. "I wonder if the guy Alyssa is marrying is really cute or something." Daniella whispered to her sister as she straightened her posture and watched the guests pile in. She was a little jealous that she wasn't chosen to be a bridesmaid or anything but she was a little excited to see Alyssa's dress and everything. As long as Alphonse and Theodore kept their noses out of this Daniella figured it would be a really nice wedding, she could only guess that Alyssa was ecstatic at the moment.

Romaine wasn't very excited about having to be torn out of bed to go to a stupid girly wedding today, he was happy for his sister of course but weddings weren't really his thing. Theodore wasn't even here for Romaine to try and hang out with so he had to settle with Kendra for today, he had no idea what she thought about this whole wedding herself. She was a girl so maybe she liked the ides of going to one. Personally though, Romaine wasn't happy and was going to be questioning his older brother about not being here. Why did Theodore did get to skip going to this thing, everyone was told not to tell Theodore either so the younger Slytherin immediately sensed something suspicious going on. "This wedding needs to hurry up and get going so I can do something other than sit here, I'm getting so bor..hey Professor Styx is here." Romaine stopped halfway through and nudged his twin when he noticed that a Professor from Hogwarts and their Head of House was here. What was he doing here and what was he doing with Nicolette? Romaine shrugged and returned his attention to the front, he was pretty sure that soon someone would explain it to him. Until then he sat impatiently as he waited for his sisters wedding to begin.

A lot of the faces here were very foreign to Isaac. Which was sort of depressing because at least eighty percent of the people here were from his own family. After more than twenty-five years or so one would be surprised how much you lost track of when it came to recognizing people or know who was who. It seemed that not many knew who he was either because everyone gave him the same confused furrow eyebrowed look when he passed by. They didn't know who he was, who was he kidding? To them he was just a stranger who happened to show up because he was perhaps some estranged cousin of the family or something, in fact he wasn't even on the family tree. How he hated those family trees. They were worth crap. Technically Isaac wasn't even invited because no one knew he existed, but he had found out about the wedding and came here to walk his niece down the aisle. Even if she didn't know who he was. He knew his brother wouldn't be invited because then this whole wedding would be ruined and Alyssa would probably be killed for this, in Alphonse's books she was committing a crime. Walking up to some random person he asked where the wedding party was getting ready at and they directed him to go down the hall and such. He nodded his thanks and headed down that way, hopefully Alyssa wouldn't freak when he came in the room.

OOCOut of Character:
The Ceremony can start now!

So, now that all the guests had arrived, including some at the last minute, the music slowly started to play, and the wedding was on! Damian was the first of the groom's men to enter. He did not know what they were called, but he was one of them! Damian made sure that his tuxedo looked perfect before making his way out there, and he was the first followed by Xavier and then Amauri, or was it Amauri then Xavier? These people were new to him, so he got them mixed up. One of them was Alyssa's brother and the other one was Vincent's father. Damian walked down the aisle and then stood on the right side, holding the rings and he smiled at the ground with his pearly whites. He was proud to be here today. He stood next to an older man, with cold yet clear blue eyes. This was the father! It had to be Amauri then! Damian thought that he could just cry that he was so happy for Alyssa. He was so excited for someone like her, marrying her one true love.

The moment Amauri entered the atmosphere with the crowd, he immediately felt somewhat out of place. He felt like he had done something in order to be stared at like this. Instead, he kept his cold eyes to the front and he tried to remain calm and cold like he normally carried himself. For an Auror, he certainly wore it written on his head and stance. Once he was standing in the front of the chapel next to the kid he swore up and down was a female, his eyes roamed over the Snows and the rest. Some of them he did not think were Snows at all. One couple in particular, he recognized Nicolette. He had seen her when he was growing up with the Snows, as well as being a little banged around by her as well. His eyes met with the man that was sitting next to her, and his defenses sparked. Amauri averted his eyes from the man and allowed them to roam to the woman that he was seeing, Nastasia. A light smile crossed his lips before he kept a calm composure. He was cold, for the most part, but he did his best not to meet with that man's eyes as long as he stood up here.

Xavier headed out with the other men and his blue eyes immediate landed on the crowd of people within the Chapel. He didn't think this many would have shown up but he was proud that so many people turn up to see Alyssa get married. With each step he felt more and more eyes drift to him, they were all people he knew all to well. It made him more worried for Vincent and his family though because they were a group of Aurors and this woman who was a Squib and they were walking right into a dark room. They were joining a family full of criminals, Death Eaters, and killers who really didn't trust these people. Hopefully they would take Alyssa and keep an eye on her because if they had the chance the family was going to tear her apart for choosing an Auror. Once he reached front of the chapel next to Amauri and Damian he sighed and tried to calm his nerves. He wasn't sure what it was but something made him feel tense and like he needed to be on edge and on alert. Theodore and Alphonse weren't even around and something was wrong. Glancing at the back he waited for the Actual Groom to appear, then would come the bridesmaids and such and the Ceremony would begin. Hopefully.

Vincent was ready, now more than ever. His blue eyes sparkled with delight as he thought that he was ready to be married. His hair was prepared nicely, and his suit made him look exquisite. He honestly did not know how he could be resisted by Alyssa Snow, soon to be Alyssa Chevalier. Then there was another question. How was he going to resist her? That was something else as well. She used the charm on him last night, and he thought it was hard enough to resist her without it until that charm came into effect. Though he loved it too. It brought out more love than anything else. It was a good feeling, knowing that he was doing the right thing. He walked down the aisle, seeing some people here that looked happy, some younger preteens, and then some people that just scared Vincent to death. Nicolette and her husband. Those two were fearsome. He wanted to investigate, but he had nothing on them, but just a fear in his eyes. Vincent decided to ignore that and focus on one person today: solely the love of his life, Alyssa. Vincent could not wait to finally be married to such a perfect woman.

Everyone seemed to be happy for them, and there was nothing more in his life that he could ask for than just being where he was now, December 26th, of 2026. It was a day he would remember for the rest of his life, because it was the day he was going to marry someone he had known for a long time, someone he had been in a close relationship to for a long time, and now, there was just a happy ending for the two of them. Though this was not the end, this was just the beginning. He needed to remind himself of that. Yet he wondered, did he stay special precautions last night - the night he lost his virginity? He thought that he did. The last thing he wanted to do was to knock her up while she was still in school. Vincent had more respect than that. After careful recalling, he remembered that he did in fact prevented that very thing from happening... No wait, that was not what he thoguht it was. Well, if something happened, Vincent would be right there, and they would be married anyway. Vincent inhaled the smell of roses and other decorations that Nia designed, as his eyes went down the aisle and he could see each bridesmaid enter with such beauty, but none compared to the bride herself when she was to show.

Once some time passed and the Ceremony had begum Aphrodite could barely contain her excitement as she watched the groomsmen and the groom make their way to the front of the Chapel. But the moment she laid eyes on Alyssa's husband-to-be her mouth dropped. He was so handsome looking that Aphrodite was almost speechless to the point where even she found herself becoming shy, and Aphrodite was never shy. No wonder her sister was marrying him because he was the most attractive man she had ever seen! They were all to the front and it was her turn but it took a rough nudge from Gabrielle to knock her out of her dream like state and get going down the aisle. Her blue eyes sparkled as she made her way with her basket of blue and white flower petals. She guessed that they were roses with their colors changed but she didn't know what the actual color was it was really roses. With a shrug of her shoulders ans started down and let her hand reach into her basket of petals before she tossed them up in the air and watched them fall to the ground. Every so often she would see people she knew sitting in the pews and waved to them all graceful-like. For her this was like a red carpet practice since the carpet was red and there was a crowd. Hopefully one day she would be on a carpet this color all the time, and someday also having her own wedding. It took her a little bit to get all the way down the aisle and even when she was at the front of the Chapel she still had flowers left. She needed to get rid of them! Turning the basket over she just let a pile of roses fall in front of the alter before she causally tossed the basket aside and into the pews behind her and stood in the side opposite of the men. As she waited for the others to arrive and made sure to definitely bat her eyelashes a few time in Vincent's direction.

It was finally time. Abbey smiled brilliantly with baby Rhea in her arms, just cooing softly and looking at the world with her large, purple eyes gained from the Hurley's. Abbey could not be any happier right now, but where she was holding the baby, she had to sit in the bench, but she would be sitting in the front row. After Aphrodite made it out, it was her turn to walk. Her eyes met with the grooms, and then she remembered that he was an Auror. She inhaled sharply, remembering that is what took her parents away, but this was no time to let someone like that get in the way of her friend's perfect day. She walked down the aisle, her eyes glued to the alter, and she laughed softly at the behavior of the young Snow. Abbey turned and went to the bench, where she sat down and made sure that Rhea was comfortable. Her eyes went to the front once more, and she smiled again. Alyssa was good with choosing men, he was quite the looker. He was perfect for her. Abbey hoped that nothing could spoil this day, but as her eyes wondered, she saw Professor Styx and Professor Snow. Professor Snow, she expected, but not Professor Styx. Abbey turned in her seat, and she stared down at her baby because she did not know what to think about her Head of House anymore. He took her prefect badge away, but now, she had her daughter. That was the most she could ask for right now.

Gabrielle had to be somewhat honest here and admit that when it was her turn to walk down the aisle with the other bridesmaids she felt little butterflies flutter around inside her thin stomach. All the eyes on her sort of freaked her out. She could barely imagine what Alyssa was going to feel like when she went down because it was her big day. Both the sisters often hated being under pressure of things and walking down here with both families watching you carefully was like an entire universe of pressure on your shoulders. When she finally caught Colton's eyes she gave him a soft wave before he turned her attention back to the front where the men and so far Aphrodite were standing because one of them just had a baby and couldn't really be standing up here at the moment, actually Gabrielle sort of thought Alyssa didn't like that girl so much but then again it could have been one of the other ones. Nia was the one who designed this and Gabrielle was pretty sure that Alyssa really liked her, either way she just didn't really keep up with Alyssa and her friends. Once she reached the front of the Chapel she waited with the other patiently for Alyssa and the last couple of bridesmaids to get their butts out here. For some reason Gabrielle felt a little uncomfortable right now, it was probably because some of the guests were far from the friendly type that she got along with. At least Colton was here and mostly everyone seemed happy.

Hadan was honestly proud now. It was the day after Christmas, and her friend, best friend, was finally getting married. Hadan had also done other things, which should make her stay here with a few Aurors a little tense but she was not worried. The red eyed girl looked like a beauty walking down the aisle, but she knew that she would not be able to compare to Alyssa as the bride. A petal gently brushed against her bare toe from the flower girl's bidding. She did not like to wear heels because things tickled her feet. Hadan went and stood by the rest of the bridesmaids, taking in a dark liking to the fact that she was here, and Abbey was sitting down with her kid. That just made Hadan want to never have kids, not for a long time that is. Hadan turned her head when she heard the music to cue in for Alyssa's arrival. Hadan hoped that this would pan out smoothly. She had not even thought about being married yet, but she was up here, going to be standing next to the bride, and her stomach was in knots. She felt like she was either feeling anxious for her own wedding to come, or feeling Alyssa's or someone else's. Her groom looked like he was about to faint, as he was white as a ghost. Hadan wondered if he was that nervous, or if he just never got out in the sun. What else confused her was why was Professor Styx here? Was he going to wind up killing the Aurors for himself? Hadan was amused by this, but she refrained from showing it on her face.

Alyssa was a nervous wreck but she tried to remain strong and not let it show that she was feeling like she wanted to throw up or pass out right now. The biggest reason she was worried or nervous at all was if Vincent suddenly changed his mind about loving her or something small and silly like that, she just didn't want to lose him. Then there was the whole, would she be a good wife kind of thought coming to her mind. Alyssa shook her head softly and focused on watching one by one as each of her bridesmaids made their way down the aisle and to the front of the Chapel. Where the other men and Vincent were all waiting for her to arrive at. she was barely able to wait until she could see Vincent in his suit, she bet he looked so handsome that it would be hard for others than just her to keep their hands off of him. Soon he would be hers too. All hers and nobody else's and thats the way she had been waiting for it to be since the day she met him in the Three Broomsticks during her Third Year. When it was Hadan's turn to walk down the aisle leave Alyssa alone she took this moment to look at herself in the mirror to her left, she wanted to make sure she left Vincent breathless when he first saw her. He already thought she was beautiful but since this was their wedding she wanted him to remember how she looked and everything for years to come. Her crystal blue eyes were light and sparkly, they sort of glowed in comparison to her snowy pale skin. Her platinum blonde hair looked silky and soft, and her lips were covered in a red lipstick that really made her lips pop out. She had to admit that the dress Nia designed for her was pretty too, she liked the thin style even more than she did the princess styled ones. It framed her curves and felt light. 'I think I look good enough to marry...' Alyssa told herself as she ran a few fingers through her hair and heard the music begin to play. That was her cue to get this done and over with so she wouldn't have the crowd staring at her for too long. Alyssa started down the aisle and one she saw how many people were there she gulped.

As she made her way down she saw so many people she knew. Brother's, sisters, cousins, aunts, uncle's, there had to be more than half a hundred people or so. They all looked at her and it almost seemed that some of them were disappointed looking. Was it because she was young or was it because he was an Auror. Those were going to be the two most often she had to deal with. Even Professor Styx was here! Why was he here? Was she in trouble or something? Alyssa hoped now and would try to investigate it later. Instead she carried herself with poise and grace until she had reached the front and immediately her blue eyes met with Vincent's and she couldn't resist a smile, a genuine, modelesque like type smile. Her hand reached out to his and she knew she was doing the right thing.

This was it. After the final bridesmaid entered, then he knew that the bride would soon be coming. The flower girl that had given him the large puppy eyes at him, but Vincent took no notice in it however. He was far too excited for his own good, despite the fact that he felt like he was going to throw up all at once. When Alyssa stepped into the viewing, Vincent almost fainted because she looked so devastating. The white dress was misleading, but it did not matter because this was something to be cherished. Seeing her in that dress was amazing, and seeing her look so beautiful literally made him forget to breathe, but luckily he remembered and he did not pass out like he wanted to so much right now. Once she arrived to him, Vincent shakily took her hand into his own, and he smiled down at her. He was amazed that he was going to be married to this wonderful creature. She made everyone else look like garbage. Vincent wanted to murmur everything he felt about her to her now, but he just could not just yet. Vincent glanced over at the priest whom started the wedding right up, "Friends, we have been invited here today to share with Vincent and Alyssa a very important moment in their lives. In the years they have been together, their love and understanding of each other has grown and matured, and now they have decided to live their lives together as husband and wife. Does anyone object to this marriage?" Vincent listened but no one said anything. "Now, the vows, Alyssa, you will go first. As I understand, this wedding is a little pre-planned and the vows will have to come from the heart." Vincent sighed a bit, and hoped that this would be just as easy as proposing to her was.

Alyssa ran her thumb over the top of Vincent's hand soothingly once she felt that he seemed to be a little shaky, she wanted him to relax himself and not worry so much. As someone studying to be a Healer she knew some of the awful things stress could bring. Besides she really felt that he had nothing to be nervous or worried about, she had accepted his proposal and no matter what she was going to marry him today. She loved him so much and could barely believe that she had gotten so lucky in her life to have found him and secured him as hers. It made her think back to the day that she ended seeing and hearing how upset he was when she was dating Leo because she thought Vincent didn't like her, she felt so bad for hurting him. The whole time she was with someone else all she ever thought about was him and how much she missed him. He had always been a really good friend to her before they even started dating. How could she have not realized his feelings for her then and there? The priest starting the wedding up and knock Alyssa out of her thoughts quickly. It was all starting to finally pave itself into stone, her marriage with Vincent at least. Not a single person objected to the marriage and she let a sigh of relief. No one was going to try and stop her from being happy with the man of her dreams. If her father and brother had been here there was no doubt that they would raise hell and object with every reason possibly. And knowing them they would somehow dig through until they found something to keep them apart with too. Then it was the time for the vows and Alyssa bit her lip. Since she didn't know about this until last night she didn't have any time to really think about it, she would just have to make them up. It wasn't hard to find things to say about Vincent and their life and stuff. She nodded her head at the priest and turned to Vincent. Alyssa let out a soft giggle before she breathed out and finally had something to say, "Remember back five years ago, when I asked if I could sit at your table inside the Three Broomsticks? That was the day we first met and we were both so young but, my life has never been the same since. There's too much I can say about the way you make me feel, and if I stood up here naming every single one of the reasons I love you, this wedding would take forever. And so, I, take thee Vincent Avery Chevalier, to be my wife/husband. To have and to hold, in sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer, and I promise my love to you forevermore." Alyssa grinned but really wanted to celebrate that she actually remembered the Traditional Vows. She remembered reading in one of her mother's writings that this was the very same vow she used when she married her father, it was so sad. Margaux really loved Alphonse so Alyssa really thought it would be appropriate to use them here. She hoped Vincent didn't mind, she could just stand up there and babble about all the things she loved about him. Then again if she did that this wedding would never be finished and they would never be married.

It was a gift of hers, to sooth him when he was feeling nervous. Of course, what person would not be when they were getting married to someone so perfect? Vincent wanted to just whisper the vows, but he knew that everyone must hear them because of the witness thing. Luckily no one objected however. Vincent wondered if that scary couple would have anything to say after everything anyway. Vincent heard Alyssa's vows, and he smiled down at her, loving everything that came from her mouth. They have known each other for five long years, and from the moment he realized that he liked her, it was like a slap to the face. She was the first girlfriend, and the first...everything. Vincent did not like the ups and downs, but what happened afterward was just amazing to him as well, after everything with Leo and all. Despite the fact that it did hurt, it was for the best, because without Leo, he might not have said what he said. Well, he would have, but it might have taken him longer. Vincent listened as he was told that he was turn to say the vows. Vincent inhaled and he let his heart control the words that came out of his mouth, "From the moment I met you, I knew you were the one. After I asked you to be my girlfriend, everything has been so perfect, like something out of a fairy tale. We have only happiness ahead of us, hand in hand. I, Vincent, take you, Alyssa, to be my friend, my lover, the mother of my children and my wife. I will be yours in times of plenty and in times of want, in times of sickness and in times of health, in times of joy and in times of sorrow, in times of failure and in times of triumph. I promise to cherish and respect you, to care and protect you, to comfort and encourage you, and stay with you, for all eternity." Vincent glanced over at the priest and he said, "So, you have heard it here and now. The rings..." Vincent received the rings from Damian, and he slipped it on her finger, and he murmured, "This ring I give to you as a token of my love and devotion to you. I pledge to you all that I am and all that I will ever be as your husband. With this ring, I gladly marry you and join my life to yours."

When Vincent started and said his vows Alyssa kept her eyes on him the entire time, there was nothing else she wanted to look at but him anyways. His words were so perfect and romantic that she was almost convinced that he hadn't written them and just took them from a book or something. But then as she really thought about it he was the type to be that romantic, that sweet, and have words so perfect said to her. About half way through she had heard enough to the point where she wanted to just hug him so tightly and never let go, or ravish him. She could do both but not with everyone here and definitely not in a church or anything. One part of his vow though made her blush and started to think though. Mother of his children. It made her think of Abbey at first and what she had gone through but then it made her think of last night. They didn't use anything and although she knew it worse came to worse she would have Vincent, she wished they had thought of that before they had done anything. Especially while she was in school. Vincent finished his vows and knocked Alyssa out of her thoughts. She gave him a perfect smile and resisted the urge to lean up and kiss him. Then it was time for the rings, and the butterfly feeling grew stronger. Alyssa received her ring and gently placed it on his finger as well, it looked well fit on Vincent's finger and she couldn't help but be smug that the ring symbolized that he was hers and no one else's. "This ring I give to you as a token of my love and devotion to you. I pledge to you all that I am and all that I will ever be as your wife. With this ring, I gladly marry you and join my life to yours." Alyssa recited softly after Vincent. It would only be moments now and they would be married and together forever, and she could spend the rest of her vacation with him and only him.

Vincent was never more happy than he was right now. The ring felt...perfect upon his finger, and that meant that he was no one else's but hers. He wanted nothing more but to salvage her right now. He wanted to take her away and carry her to the honeymoon but he knew better than that. Vincent beamed, and it was almost time to actually kiss the bride. The priest carried on, "Now, with the power vested in me, I give you the pleasure of kissing each other, to complete the wedding ceremony!" Vincent needless to say wasted no time in kissing the bride. Though it was not full of lust, nothing like last night. Instead, it was a romantic and tender kiss. The priest finalized the marriage, "I now present to you, Mr. and Mrs. Chevalier!" Vincent smiled once more when he pulled from the kiss, and he murmured, "We did it!" Vincent was happy, no happy did not mean enough to sum up what he was feeling. He was overjoyed actually. He was overwhelmed with love right now. He heard the people applaud and those that were highly supportive of the marriage actually cheered, but that was not many anyway. Vincent glanced down at the ring once more, and he decided that he never wanted this moment to end.

The part happened so fast that Alyssa barely could register what had just happened in her head. Once the rings were on the priest told them that they may kiss one another and the ceremony would be complete. And the kiss itself was more than perfect enough for her. The moment their lips touched she swore that she saw fireworks with how passionate it was, and as much as she didn't want it to end they did once the the priest presented and announced them as Mr. and Mrs. Chevalier! It brought a pretty smile to her face when Vincent told her that they did it. "It's going to take me some time to remember Alyssa Chevalier on my homework. I love you." She joked as she leaned up and kissed his forehead and listened to some of the people that were happy for them to clap, she was happy that some of them were proud of her. For a moment she almost wanted to glance out to see who was the ones cheering but she decided against it. Instead she grabbed Vincent's wrist and told him that they needed to go to the Reception. Hopefully there Amauri and Vincent would meet the rest of the family, and Alyssa would feel less likely to burst out crying from happiness.
The Room where they were holding the Reception looked amazing! Alyssa really owed Nia a lot for making this the perfect wedding! As soon as she saw the room Alyssa already felt herself feel all giddy and wonderful again, she was honestly the luckiest girl in the world. Alyssa led Vincent over to the table where the Bride, Groom, and Wedding Party were supposed to sit and sat herself down gracefully. They had already taken the wedding pictures and soon enough people would be able to eat and stuff. But Alyssa's mind was focused on so many other things right now than food and eating that delicious looking cake. She was actually wonder when she should have Vincent go around and meet most of her family, she wanted to officially meet his father too because the only time she had met him was when her and Vincent confessed their love and she got found by her father. As the guests piled into the room and fawned over the decorations Alyssa took time to breath out softly and slide herself onto Vincent's lap. Her two arms wrapped around his neck before she leaned down and kissed his lips softly. "So, I think that maybe I should have you meet the rest of the family and stuff, if your all right with it." She kissed him again and smiled softly, since he didn't have to if he didn't want to but she figured that since he had a small family this might be a little different from him. And although she didn't say it really that much but she wanted a chance to get to know his family a little better since they were going to become like her family. Some laughter was heard in the background of the room and Alyssa turned her head to see Xavier tangled in some lights. A soft giggle escaped her throat before she shook her head. Things never changed.

The reception room looked amazing. This was thee first time he had even looked at it. Vincent was going to take the pictures that he got from the wedding. He was going to remember this day for all of eternity. It was the happiest day of his life. And Nia did a swell job on this. He thought it was the most beautiful thing he had ever set eyes on - when it came down to weddings and their scenes. Vincent was getting rather hungry himself, and he wanted to hurry up and get some food in his stomach before it would eat himself. Soon everyone was sitting down and Vincent followed Alyssa over to the table where they were going to be sitting and he sat down. He assisted in her sitting in his lap and he kissed her upon those lips that just kept him tame and in line. He just hoped that the lipstick did not rub off really. He did not want to have red lips as she had, because it would not look so good on him. Vincent smiled, "Well, you have already met dad, but I think it is about time for a formal introduction." He kissed her again when she made the move and he licked his lips clean of her taste. "I would love to meet your family. Have them line up at the table!" jested the Auror with a large smile on that bright face of his. His eyes left hers for a moment to see Xavier tangled. He rolled his eyes and he said, "I have already met him, you know. But if I haven't, that would not have been a good impression." Vincent loved how Xavier could make someone laugh. Well, he could make some people, but not everyone as he saw his father roll his eyes and sat down next to his son. Vincent wondered if there was anything that could make Amauri laugh. Vincent just hoped that his dad would not try to arrest anyone or anything today. Vincent wanted a happy wedding, and he knew that Amauri wanted the same thing for his son.

Alyssa was very pleased that Vincent was willing to meet the rest of the family that he hadn't gotten to meet yet, she was happy that he was willing to show his face around them. Amauri and him were now officially one of them in a way and the Snows were probably going to be eager about sticking their noses in and finding out as much about them as they could. He was going to have a lot of names and faces to memorize. Though she figured it was just the main family and their close allies that he really needed to know, there was no doubt that the nicer members of her family would be dropping in on them from time to time. "Hopefully your dad actually wants to meet me formally, he seems a little...on edge right now? But thanks for being willing to meet them Vincent. Chances were that they were going to bother us anyways but...this makes it a lot easier." Alyssa kissed him again softly as she waved some of her family members over who had been standing off to the side eyeing them carefully. Some of them were just very weary of the Aurors being here and others were just the type to be too proper to bother Alyssa and Vincent so quickly. Alyssa's gave shifted over to where Xavier was tangled in the lights and she watched as Nicolette drug him out of the lights as if he were nothing more than a sheet of paper. The blonde swallowed quickly and shut her eyes only to pray that Nicolette and Professor Styx didn't take much interest in Vincent or Amauri. Shifting in Vincent's lap she sighed and let her crystal blue eyes land on the first person brave enough to come over. She was surprised to see that Effie had actually braved herself enough to come over, she seemed nervous though.

Effie thought the ceremony was extremely cute and romantic! If she was more girly and had a man of her own she would have enjoyed a wedding like this when she was younger. Alyssa and Vincent both looked really happy and thats what made this wedding seem more realistic than a lot of Cinderella weddings ending up turning into. She could say that she was honestly proud of happy these two were and the commitment they intended to make. As she approached the table her two different colored eyes first landed on Amauri as she waved to him softly before she finally peered over to Vincent and Alyssa. A gracious smile appeared on her lips and she made sure to greet Vincent warmly with a gentle handshake. "You guys are so cute already! I'm Effie, Alyssa's aunt and probably the biggest black sheep in the family. You guys are welcome to visit anytime just...please where clothes." Effie winked and watched as Alyssa turned beat red and face-palmed before she laughed softly and left to go head to her table. Surely that was enough embarrassment to last the poor girl and her husband awhile. It wasn't hard to guess that at one point or another, something was going to happen.

Vincent glanced over at his father and saw that he was standing up to go mingle in the crowd, more than likely to go see Nastasia. Vincent shrugged it off and he smiled at his love, "I think he is fine. He is always like that actually." Vincent did not think anything of it, and he honestly wondered if he should worry about his father. He did not think that he should, so why bother? He glanced up to see someone that looked just adorable for an adult. He was going to like this one. He thought that he had seen her before when they were at the Snow Manor. Only she was carrying a baby at the time. Though it did not look like hers. Vincent laughed at her comment, after shaking her hand; he responded, "Oh it isn't me you have to worry about. It is this little treasure right here, isn't that right Alyssa?" He laughed as he teased her. Vincent though was embarrassed himself, but he tried his best to hide the blush rising on his cheeks. He knew that all married couple did things and well, Vincent doubted that he would be doing that over at the Snow Manor.

Alyssa nodded her head softly before she reached up and un-did the clip that was holding her hair up and let her long platinum wavy locks fall around her shoulders and to her mid-back. It felt nice to have her hair down and not squeezing all the life out of her poor head. In the end she decided not to comment about Vincent's father. For some reason she felt like he didn't like her or something, maybe it was because of her family or something but she just didn't think he really wanted her married to his only son. Which she thought was not too good because she really loved Vincent and only wanted to be accepted. Her own father never really accepted her so she was hoping Vincent's would, apparently that was too much to dream for. Effie and Vincent seemed to get along pretty well which was a relief, she wanted her family to like Vincent. Then again Effie loved everyone so it wasn't going to be hard for her to be happy to meet Vincent. Her last comment made Alyssa's mouth drop and her head shake softly. "Vincent! Shh!" She placed a hand over his mouth and she turned beet red and tried to look around to see if anyone had heard what she said. She wasn't so sure if she wanted a lot of people to know that she and Vincent had already slept together. It wasn't that she didn't like it, she just didn't want them being obnoxious about it so quickly. In the corner of her eye she could see her aunt approaching the two of them.

Slowly, the pregnant Ministress made her way to the table, and she smiled graciously down at the couple. Seraphine already knew Vincent because she was basically his boss, well, something like that. She smiled over at Alyssa and she murmured, "I am so proud of you picking the right sort. Vincent, from what I have seen, is dedicated and hard-working. Vincent, treat my niece nicely. Now Alyssa, where is your twin sister?" Seraphine thought for a moment, and then corrected herself, "Er, brother I mean. Theodore?" When they were little and she did come around from time to time, she remembered that she confused Theodore Snow with a girl. She always called him one as well, and it was something that Seraphine had only recently gotten it right.
