Amelie was feeling horrid. She had joined the team because she wanted to play with the others. Now, she was regretting the decision. Should she quit? She couldn't imagine quitting. What would Jamie think? What would Gabi think? She stayed on the field, sitting on one of the benches with her knees drawn up. She was staring blankly at the clouds, the incoming storm hardly phasing her. It was a while away, anyway. She sighed, hardly paying attention to the world around her. Hugo had been taken out of the game, which was bad enough, and then seconds into her getting in the air the other team had won. She felt like a failure. Hugo was sure to think she was even more of a cheat now. She rested her chin in her hand, staring off at nothing in particular, lost in her melancholy.
