Closed The Moment of Truth

After the events of last semester, Estella had been a little weary about who she interacted with. It was evident now that Harper hated her, and the thought of that had admittedly been keeping the girl up at night. She hated that she had lost a friend, but what she would hate even more was if she lost Rose, Ana and Tilly. They had always been there for her through everything, and it would break Essie’s heart if suddenly they decided they didn’t like her anymore. Luckily, no one had told them a thing about what happened yet, at least to Estella’s knowledge, and so Estella decided to bring them all together again in the place where they used to hang out a lot in the North Tower, where no one else could find them. She needed to tell them the truth without any distractions. The girl brought some food with her, from sandwiches to sweets, wanting their time to be as casual as possible. She waited for them to arrive, feeing nervous but hoping everything would turn out okay in the end.

Ana Sofia had been pretty busy during the early weeks of the schoolyear, feeling like she hadn't gotten enough time to hang out with her friends yet. Which was exactly why she had happily welcomed Essie's invitation to hang out at the secret spot Rose had found during one of the previous years. Not sure if she needed to bring anything Ana had decided against it, not feeling like making her way down to her dorm when she had already been upstairs working in the heta room. After a little detour to answer a younger student's question she had finally made her way up to the North tower, sneaking into the hide out and smiling when Essie was already there. "Hi!"

Every moment Rose could spend with friends was a blessing and thus she was very excited to receive an invitation from Essie. Rose made way to their hideout and was glad to see that Ana and Essie were already there. Rose smiled ''Hey!'' Rose said happily with Edgar in her hands. She was unsure if she had to bring anything and she knew she could always get something pretty fast if needed. So she had decided to become empty handed.

Despite the fact that Essie, Ana, and Rose were her roommates, Tilly felt like she was seeing them less and less as all of them had their own responsibilities. She couldn't pass up her friend's invitation to meet. It had been a while since she'd visited the hideout in the North Tower. "Hi," Tilly said by way of greeting, brightening visibly when she saw her friends. Squeezing herself into the space, she grabbed and pillow and sat down on the floor with her legs crossed. She wondered why Essie wanted to meet.

As all of her friends joined her, one by one, Estella couldn't help the beaming smile on her face. She loved seeing them all together, and it really distracted her from her bad thoughts she had been having. It felt just like old times. "Hey girls!" she exclaimed, followed by a small squeal. She just couldn't help herself. "Are you hungry? I have food and stuff. Just thought we should hang out for a little since it's been a while." Estella took one of the sweets, popping it into her mouth. She was feeling a little nervous about telling them her news, so thought she would start by asking them an easy question first before they potentially dumped her as a friend. "So... how did you all do with your OWLs last year?"
