Alexandra jolted awake, she felt a sharp pain in her chest, by her heart. She was still tired, but knew where she was, looking around her room. Her father had probably carried her there. Though, it didn't explain why she saw Aphrodite right before she fell asleep. Alexandra sat up, keeping her sheets over her legs, and tried to make sense of what was going on in her head. She was tired, and still a little dizzy. Jetlag was the worst for Alex, and it took her a couple of days to get adjusted and normal again.
Alex moved forward, and felt a poke in her backside. She lifted her back up, and reached behind, feeling her wand. It must have been in her back pocket, and she fell aseep on it. She picked it up, and held it between her two fingers, as though she were examining it. She was trying to get her vision straight, and keep her eyes on something that was in close range with her. It was between her right forefinger, and her left middle finger.
Crack!
Alexandra jumped, and dropped her wand in her lap. What was that? She thought to herself, moving her legs to the side of her bed, and gripping her wand in her left hand. She was almost positive she was home alone, unless...No. It couldn't be. There were then thuds coming down the stairs from the third floor to the second, across the hall, and then rushing down the flight of stairs headed to the first floor.
The brunette cautiously, and quielty opened her door and snuck to the top of the stairs. She could hear some giggles, coming from a child, and she saw a smaller suitcase on the floor next to her two larger ones. Alex tip-toed down the stairs, wand out, calling in Spanish, "Who's there? Her voice sounded tired, but alert. She moved down the stairs, just two more to see Aphrodite standing there, and a baby in a carseat on the ground next to her, giggling and laughing.
