Alexandra jolted awake, she felt a sharp pain in her chest, by her heart. She was still tired, but knew where she was, looking around her room. Her father had probably carried her there. Though, it didn't explain why she saw Aphrodite right before she fell asleep. Alexandra sat up, keeping her sheets over her legs, and tried to make sense of what was going on in her head. She was tired, and still a little dizzy. Jetlag was the worst for Alex, and it took her a couple of days to get adjusted and normal again.

Alex moved forward, and felt a poke in her backside. She lifted her back up, and reached behind, feeling her wand. It must have been in her back pocket, and she fell aseep on it. She picked it up, and held it between her two fingers, as though she were examining it. She was trying to get her vision straight, and keep her eyes on something that was in close range with her. It was between her right forefinger, and her left middle finger.

Crack!

Alexandra jumped, and dropped her wand in her lap. What was that? She thought to herself, moving her legs to the side of her bed, and gripping her wand in her left hand. She was almost positive she was home alone, unless...No. It couldn't be. There were then thuds coming down the stairs from the third floor to the second, across the hall, and then rushing down the flight of stairs headed to the first floor.

The brunette cautiously, and quielty opened her door and snuck to the top of the stairs. She could hear some giggles, coming from a child, and she saw a smaller suitcase on the floor next to her two larger ones. Alex tip-toed down the stairs, wand out, calling in Spanish, "Who's there? Her voice sounded tired, but alert. She moved down the stairs, just two more to see Aphrodite standing there, and a baby in a carseat on the ground next to her, giggling and laughing.

Aphrodite apparated back into her room, and placed Athena into her carseat, so she could easier carry her around. She grabbed the handle of the large carseat, and in the other hand she grabbed their suitcase. The spell on the door she had placed had worn off, beacuse she had taken a little longer than she expected. Athena was fairly silent, a little confused at the sudden move. Aphrodite put down the suitcase, opened the door, and picked up her suitcase, running down the stairs, with many great thuds. The hallway on the second floor creaked as she crept by, knowing that Alexandra was behind one of the closed doors. She rushed down the next set of stairs, and placed Athena and her suitcase on the floor temporarily, just to give her arms a rest, and get herself ready to leave.

'Who's there?' Came from the top of the stairs, and Athena began to giggle at the unfamiliar voice. Aphrodite thought fast, and drew her wand that she had hidden in her long cloak. She didn't recognize the voice, but knew that there could only be one other person in this school that she hadn't spoken to yet. "Alexandra, go back to bed. I'm leaving, and you're not stopping me." Aphrodite said, what happened in the alleyway still on her mind. She had momentarily forgotten that nobody else knew, yet.

Alexandra paid no attention to the baby that was on the floor, and her temper rose when she saw Aphrodite there, in her house. "What are you doing in my house? Get out now! " She yelled, furious that she was in her house. At the sudden yelling, the toddler that was in the carseat on the floor, began to whimper. She didn't cry, but she sobbed a little, startled, and Alexandra's attention slightly diverted to the baby. Her wand was in her hand, at her side, and she gripped it tightly as she came to the realization that her parent's weren't home, nor was her little brother.

Her hazel eyes flickered blood red, with hatred inside her. This sudden burst of emotion came from the fact that she had a nightmare that Aphrodite killed her family, and in the haziness of her jetlag, it seemed almost like a reality. At this point, she had her wand gripped so tightly, it could have snapped if made out of a thinner wood or plastic. As though the nightmare was playing over in her head, or right in front of her eyes, her eyes were still red with hate, and her voice full of rage when she sternly commanded, "Where is my family? My mom, my father? Valentin? What have you done with them?" She took another step down the stairs, though struggled to keep her wand at her side.

Aphrodite didn't hear Athena whimper. She just kept her eyes on the wand that Alexandra had grasped in her hand. She then looked up, at the mention of her family, and had a sick, twisted sort of smile on her face. "Oh, your father?" She began, getting a better grasp on her wand. It wasn't aimed at Alexandra, but still out of view, aimed at the floor. She didn't move as Alexandra took a step down the stairs, and her eyes turned red with rage. Aphrodite had never seen her sister like that before, when she realized that she got the gift. The bloodline gift handed down from their grandfather. She was a metamorphmagai, and Aphrodite envied her from that point on.

Furious that her disgusting sister got the family gift, she laughed maniacally, and said in a sweet, quiet voice, "Daddy gives his regards from beyond the grave, I made sure of that!" Her voice grew louder, and scarier by the end of her sentence, and that's when her daughter's eyes got wide with fear, looking up at her mother. She had never raised her voice, or looked so scary to the two-year old, ever. Athena didn't make a noise, as if she knew it was best to go unnoticed.

It took a moment for Alexandra to register what Aphrodite had just told her, that she had killed her father. Tears wanted to pour out of her eyes, and her heart ached. Her worst nightmare had come true, and it had become a reality. A whole alphabet of emotions rushed through her mind, body and soul. Her heart was beating so hard, it could pop out of her chest, and it was beating so loud, you could hear it from the moon. She began sweating, and wanted to throw up, but knew she had to get her revenge. Her bloodred eyes turned black, like a black hole that sucked in any happiness and joy from the world. Alexandra rose her wand, aiming it right at Aphrodite, and froze, not knowing what to cast.

Aphrodite picked up her suitcase in her free hand, and cocked her head to the side as she watched the pain fill into her half-sister's face. The mother watched the younger girls' eyes turn black, and for a moment a wave of fear came upon her as the girl opposite her lifted her wand, aiming it at Aphrodite. At this point, little Athena was watching the whole situation unfold, and her bright blue eyes got bloodshot; she was ready to cry. The baby's eyes were on Alexandra, who was on the last step of the staircase, and she screamed when she saw her eyes turn black.

Upon hearing the cry of her daughter, Aphrodite found herself again, and this insane altar ego almost completely disappeared. She narrowed her eyes, and in a calm, quiet voice, she said, "You're scaring my daughter, and now you're going to pay just like your father did." She kept her wand aimed at Alexandra, pausing to think about the spell she was about to cast. "Expulso!" She commanded, and put her wand away. She picked up her daughter's carseat, and was out the door, without looking back to see what was left of her sister.

Alexandra was caught off guard by the crying baby, but she caught the part that she would pay. The Slytherin was not herself, she was a raging maniac right now, one that had frozen in a time of need. Her wand was out, and steady, but her mind had frozen. She caught a flash of light headed her way, and the first thing that came to mind, came out of her mouth. "Protego!" She cast, and was protected from being blown to bits, but was still thrown back from the momentum of the spell. The banister at the bottom of the stairs exploded, and she was thrown back onto the stairs, hitting the back of her head and getting knocked out. She dreamt of the perfect world she once had, that wasn't too far away, but impossible to reach. She dreamt about happy days with her family, not knowing that this was all because of the lies her mother told her.
