Closed The Last Dance

Lucy was excited but also a little sad. She knew this was the last time she'd get to go to a dance with Tempest at Hogwarts, and that was a little sobering. Still, it wasn't completely getting her down. Lucy wouldn't allow it to diminish her opportunity - in fact, in some ways, it made this one all the more special.

Lucy was dressed in a plain but elegant black dress, hair done up in a matching fashion, waiting by the great hall entrance. She smiled as she saw Tempest, her heart beginning to pick up pace. It was a strange thing, how Tempest could make her feel calm and excited all at once. "Hey," Lucy greeted cheerfully. "Want to go in? We could dance, or we could get some punch, or..." She realised she was rambling - probably a little nervous. "Whatever you want to do," she ended up saying to finish her sentence. Lucy was just glad to spend time with her girlfriend, really.

Tempest had forgotten to send her girlfriend roses, and to make it up to her, she had gathered a bunch of beautiful flowers definitely not from the Wild Patch gardens and made a small bouquet for her girlfriend. As she arrived at the dance, she handed the flowers to her, giving her a smile as she talked through their options. She really didn't care too much, as long as she got to spend it with Lucy. "We could dance," she suggested, hearing a slower song play around them. She wasn't much of a dancer, but dancing with your girlfriend helped fight any insecurities she had about dancing. "Is that okay?"
