Danielle strode down the street. She loved London. It was her favourite city on Earth. She'd bought some heels earlier that day and she was just returning from a casting. They'd watched her walk today. She loved walking, the slight sashaying of the hips, chin up, chest out. She'd been doing it her whole life. The posing could get boring, but the clothes. She adored clothes. Always had, always would. She busied herself rummaging through her bag for her phone. Such a shame she couldn't bring the house-elf with her. She could make her invisible, but the muggles would be shocked to see her bags floating mid-air as she walked down the street. The casting had gone well, they seemed to think she'd work, but she couldn't be sure. She'd call Don, perhaps ask his opinion. Should she get an agent? If so-it would have to be a wizard. Perhaps Don knew someone through the Scitorari. Yes, she'd call him.

She flipped out her phone, and quickly dialed her brother's number. No answer. Great. She hung up, and stuffed her phone back into her bag. Looking around, she grimaced. Time for lunch. She quickly ducked down a side alley. A shortcut to the leaky cauldron. Soon she was in the dusky old pub itself. It was even worse, if that was possible, than it's New Zealand counterpart. She entered Diagon Alley quickly, wrinkling her nose as she left the grimy, old place. There was a little tea shop she liked nearby, and without a glance at anyone, she made her way to it. It was good to be around wizards again. She didn't dare imagine how many of them were mudbloods. She couldn't let her dislike for them be too apparent. There were a lot of people who were extremely lenient with them. And with the idiots who bred with them.

The place was packed, and she frowned prettily, taking an empty table in the corner. Usually she sat by the window, but the seat was taken. She raised her hand for a waiter, and almost ignoring the waitress who stared at her as though she was a foreign species, she ordered a cup of tea, no sugar, plenty of milk, and a small slice of apple tart. She deserved to indulge herself. She'd done well today. Tapping her foot impatiently, she waited for the order to arrive. They were wizards weren't they? They had magic at their disposal. How was it taking so long? Danielle had no patience, but she hid her irritation well, smiling at anyone who looked at her. Charm. It would get her places. Her Mother had told her than, on one of the rare occasions when she'd been home.

It was a rather warm summer morning in London,as Genevieve left her pent house in Mayfair and headed towards the nearby bus station. As a witch, she ought to have apparated to wherever it was that she was headed. But Genevieve had a very bad hangover and being forced to be up at 9 in the morning felt like the worst torture to her and she couldn't risk loosing a chunk of the flesh that she would soon be exposing to the designing team of the Valentino Fall Collection. And she did own a car but at the moment she couldn't control the dizziness and headache that were wreaking havoc in her brain.

At Knightsbridge,Genna sought out a starbucks cafe and got a steaming hot cappucino that would keep her awake, alert and out of danger from being runover by a car.Making her way towards the place where she needed to be.Her phone's GPS kept telling her to turn right and then left and then head straight towards the large studio that she saw ahead. The voice in her phone sounded calm and collected and made Genevieve want to chuck the phone at the pavement and crush it with her heel.Argh! This better be worth it! She thought as she pushed the door to the studio open and headed inside to meet with the idiots that she had to work it.

An hour later,Genna walked out of the studio with a smug smile on her face. The team had said that she was perfect and had immediately signed her to be the face of the collection and the show stopper for the Valention show at the London Fashion week.It was all worth it.She thought as she ducked into a deserted alley way and dissaparated with a loud crack.

Genna hated apparation but it was necessary when you needed to avoid the sun and the ogling of muggles.Apparating in another alley near Leicester Square,Genna hastened to get out of the sun.It took her less than five minutes to get to The Leaky Cauldron where she slipped in unnoticed by muggles. It was a dingy old place that was somehow preferred by wizards compared to the newer and more sophisticated bars and inns run by muggles all over London. But maybe that was just because it provided easy access to Diagon Alley.

Making her way out of the back door,Genna pulled out her wand and tapped the right bricks to open the gate way to the famous wizarding shopping street,Diagon Alley. She had been here less than ten times and she was already familliar with the shops and sights. It was a cobble stone street that had cluttered shops that seemed to overflow with things and customers.Genna hated all and any crowds that weren't there to catch a glimpse of her.And at this time of the year there were so many excited little midgets and school students doing their shopping for school. She eyed them with contempt and made her way towards a little tea shop that was usually empty but today it was overflowing with teenagers.Argh!

She scanned the shop and found a table with only one girl sitting on it.Was she waiting for someone? Genna hoped not.She made her way through the crowded shop careful not to bump into any of the little kids. When she finally reached the other side,Genna turned her frown into a smile and adressed the girl,"Hi,Is this seat taken?" she indicated to the chair next to her hoping that the girl would be nice and say that it was not.She most certainly looked nice and from her clothing it would have been hard to guess that she was a witch had she been spotted walking down the street.

Dancing. That was what she was good at. Ballet. She'd danced ever since she was a child, but she was too tall for dancing professionally. As a child, she'd prayed and prayed to stop growing, prayed to a God she'd never believed in. Yet here she stood, 5'8", slap bang in the middle of the average height for a female model. She wouldn't have liked to reach 5'10", but when wearing heels she was even taller. She did wear heels quite a bit, she loved them, plus she needed to be able to walk in them properly for her job. She smiled as the tea arrived, taking a sip. It was quite good, and the tart was nice. She ate a small bite, smiling at the lovely, sweet taste.

She loved apples, always had, and strawberries. She never ate too much of anything sweet, she wouldn't dare run the risk of gaining weight. Her brother just gained muscle, which she found incredibly unfair, but she did plenty of exercise, she did ballet, lifted weights at the gym. She was stronger than a lot of men, but she didn't look it, a fact she revelled in. She liked her smallness. The boy she'd met the other day seemed to like it too. Not boy. Man. Gabrian. Her brother wouldn't approve of her talking to strange men, but he had that lovely accent, and those clear blue eyes.

She raised her eyes from the table as a woman approached her table. She was very beautiful, and had a wonderful angle to her chin. Danielle had started noticing these thing about people, ever since people had started noticing things about her. She raised her chin, looking at her openly as she approached. She was in a good mood, so she smiled and said; "Not at all,. You're welcome to it." she took a sip of her tea. "Danielle Howard. It's a pleasure to meet you." she smiled, extending her hand to shake the other girls. She must be a witch, since she was here in Diagon Alley. Thankfully, it was so annoying trying to figure out who people were in the muggle world.

Genevieve sighed relieved and took the seat,"Thank...I'm Genevive Rosewood and it's a pleasure to meet you too."she told the girl in her French accent that made all the 's's sound like 'z's. She shook the girl's hand which had perfectly manicured long fingernails just like hers. This Danielle girl looked like she had just graduated from school but she had a good sense of self grooming and fashion. That made her instantly likeable in Genna's books. She motioned for the waiter to attend to her but of course she had to wait while he attended other customers.

"Jeez,Its so awfully crowded in here today," Genevieve exclaimed when she finally saw the waiter coming to take her order,"I would like a black coffee and a pain au chocolat" but when the waiter looked at her with a confused expression she repeated it in English "A chocolate croissant." These stupid waiters should be taught the names of food items in the language of their origin. she thought irritated at the ignorant waiter.

Genna missed Paris so much but she still had to stay in London for four more days.It felt like torture when she didn't get her baguette with some La Vache-qui-rit cheese for breakfast.Yes,she was a model but no she didn't hold back on eating breakfast. She promised herself that she would find a good french bakery the very next morning. For now,she had to drink Black coffee because she hated any milk that wasn't from her usual dairy product company. But frowning was not good for her face so she turned it into as smile and addressed the Danielle girl."So are you from around here?" she asked her wanting to know more about this rare witch who had a good fashion sense.

Danielle smiled at the girl as she introduced herself. She had quite soft hands, and a nice, French accent, which reminded her of Gabrian. His accent had been Italian, but it seemed she was encountering a lot of foreigners recently-which was to her benefit. She had been far more friendly than usual. "Genevieve is a beautiful name." she complimented her, sipping her tea. Her tutor had spent years teaching her how to make polite conversation, how to make people like you. She rarely put it to use in school, but now that she was out in the world, having people like her would be a good thing.

She nodded her head, agreeing with Genevieve. "It used to be so quiet. I've been coming here since I was a child, but it's started getting really busy recently." she replied, laughing as the waiter couldn't understand her. She spoke good French, not excellent, but understandable. "You'd think he'd understand the word chocolate and figure it out." she smirked as he walked away. He could've heard her, but she didn't care.

The waiter hadn't come back yet, with Genevieve's food, and Danielle just rolled her eyes, smiling at how ridiculous it was, waiting for food when they had magic. She traced the contours of the table with her index finger, it was annoying that they couldn't conjure food. Her head popped up as Genevieve asked her a question; "Oh yes, born and raised. How about you?" she smiled. She'd been advised by her last tutor to smile more, especially if she wanted to do modelling. She'd really been putting in an effort.

OOCOut of Character:
So sorry for the lateness :o
Genevieve felt that she and the girl were like minded. She didn't like dull people who refused to use their common sense and Danielle seemed to agree.Genevieve tapped her foot impatiently as she waited for her food to arrive. She had had a bad start but the day seemed to be turning out well after she had been approved by the designing team. She didn't like muggles as she found them to be uninteresting and mostly not so bright. She knew that there once had been muggles that were very smart and had invented things such as cars and aeroplanes and ships that went into outer space but every new generation of muggles seemed to be more stupid and spoiled than the previous one.

"I was born in Canada and went to school at Beauxbaton and I've been working in France ever since I graduated.I'm a model and France is one of the top muggle fashion hubs." she told her explaining a bit about her work.If the girl was into muggle fashion she would definitely catch on.Muggles weren't that hard to understand once you actually tried. And now Genna could easily pass as a muggle, but one who did not understand electronics.
