So far, Seb had always went to all the dances with Charlotte, tho, since he had transferred, the only dance he went to was Halloween feast and that time he had to be with Lysander and Casper. This time he was here with Casper and he honestly had no idea what to expect. It was one thing to be everywhere just two of them and absolutely different when they were in front of everyone and everyone knew who Casper was. But Seb was still here and waited for Casper, he was in his suit and it was actually his little sister who found that suit and made him wear it because Kane himself even forgot that he had a suit. Tho, he had it on now and waited for Casper to show up.

Casper wasn't nervous at all. Okay, that was a lie. He was terrified. He was going to the ball with Sebastian Kane. Sebastian. Kane. Honestly, for a few days he had seriously considered not going to the ball at all. But Casper knew this was going to be his last chance to go to the ball with anyone he cared for. It still hurt him to think that in all his life, no one had ever thought he was worth asking on a date. He'd tried to take initiative, tried to get Seb to ask him out, but of course that had gone terribly. Cas didn't know what he'd expected to happen. He knew he was in love with Sebastian- and in serious liking with Lysander- but Sebastian had already broken Casper's heart once.

He finished getting ready, putting a lot of work into his appearance. If nothing else, he wanted a nice picture with Sebastian he could look back on and pretend there had been more. That was absolutely the only reason, too. He wasn't hoping to be so cute that Seb had no choice but to want a slow dance. Casper swallowed nervously as he walked to the great hall, straightening his jacket for the tenth time. It was easy to spot the Slytherin. Casper ignored the way his heart skipped as he approached the boy, reaching out shyly to take Sebastian's coat sleeve between his fingers. "Hey," Cas greeted gently, smiling softly. "You look nice..."

Seb smiled once he noticed Case coming his way and took some steps towards him. He even flushed a bit when Casper took his coat sleeve and he leaned forward to put his arms around Beckett. "You look better," he said once he let Casper go. "Uhm, wanna dance maybe?" He shyly offered his arm out for him to take. It was a slow song and well, Seb wanted to dance with him, at least in the last ball that he was gonna have. Seeing him always made him understand that by now, it was way more than crushes that he had for Casper, yet, he still wasn't sure that he was able to say it out loud. Not at the second, maybe later.

Casper's breath caught when the boy hugged him. He hugged Sebastian back nervously, barely holding on and stepping back as soon as Seb did. His eyes widened when he was asked to dance. "What?" He breathed, taking a few long moments to reach up and gently slip his hand through Sebastian's elbow. "You... really want to dance? With me?" Cas asked softly, unintentionally taking a small step closer and looking up to the Slytherin with wide eyes and a slight blush on his cheeks. It was a slow song... Was Cas really about to have his first real slow dance? His heart beat loudly in his chest. Was it a real slow dance? It was probably the closest he would ever get.

Seb almost stilled too when he noticed that he took Casper by surprise. "I said, do you wanna dance?" he repeated the question, a bit unsure of why Casper was this surprised. "Yes, I want to dance. Yes, I want to do it with you," he assuringly nodded at him, feeling better when he did take his arm and Seb led them to the dancefloor. When they were at the place, he easily took the lead there. "So, how was your semester?" he had no idea what to say to not confuse his date.

Cas let Sebastian lead them out to the dance floor, his heart fluttering madly like it meant to fly right out of his chest. He let out a breathless laugh, shaking his head. "Shut up, Sebby," Cas blurted without thinking. He stepped closer, wrapping his arms lightly around the boys neck and resting his head on Seb's shoulder. He sighed softly and closed his eyes, a small smile tugging on his lips. This was nice. He let the older boy lead, enjoying the moment.

Sebastian laughed when Cas told him to shut up. It was probably the first time in school that Seb didn't fake his laugh but actually felt really happy. Seb closed him closer to himself and leaned with his head against Casper's head and just enjoying the dance. Trying to keep back the urge to kiss him or tell about his feelings.

Cas didn't want the dance to end. Sebastian was warm, and safe, and Cas felt... loved. It was a silly thought, tucked away in the back of his mind. He wished Sebastian didn't have to go, he knew that the next ball would be nothing. He'd probably just come with Allison, but he pushed that thought aside as well. Eventually, the music ended, and Cas had to pull away. He reached for Sebastian's hand, moving to the edge of the dance floor. "So..." Cas started, his voice incredibly soft. "What did you have planned for tonight?" He asked, turning to look at the other boy.
