His relationship with Sebastian is as complicated as ever- the Slytherin claims to love Casper, but after Sebastian has already broken his heart once, Casper is scared to trust that the other boy even means it. After a tumultuous rose giving, Casper just feels drained. Despite roses having been sent before his fight with Lysander, Casper didn't receive anything from the king of flowers, and the red rose he got from Sebastian didn't clear any of his feelings. Almost as if to make it worse, Casper sent a red rose to Linden- one he meant in a brotherly sort of love for the one friend who seemed to support him wholeheartedly, that had come looking for him when he'd run away, who had tried to make sure he was alright when Linden and Lucas had started dating. Casper was mortified and ashamed to receive only a yellow rose from Linden, and his rose caused a huge fight to break out in the dorms.
As Caspers sixth year is wrapping up, he feels exhausted, worn out, and generally unwanted. His therapy sessions don't seem to help as much as they once did, and he's stopped going altogether. He avoids Lysander, and Sebastian, and after the fall out in the dorm rooms, Casper has taken to just sleeping in the arts room, trying to avoid Linden and Lucas as well.
It wasn't long before Linden found Casper there and drew him back out. Somehow, the other boy always knew how to pull Casper from his mind.
