Hello, all! It's an exciting time on HNZ once more as we prepare to leave Y12 and get ready for Y13.
Over the next several days, lots of happenings will be occurring and it's important that you're all prepared for the changes.
[ul][li]Exams
Exams should be posted on May 30[sup]th[/sup]. Students have three days to submit exams to professors, then it is up to a professor's discretion if they mark later exams.</LI>[li]Final Grades & the Gradebook
Make sure your student characters are enrolled in all the classes they've been posting in in the HNZ Gradebook System. This will allow professors to easily assign your grade in their courses.
Once professors have marked exams and awarded house points for them, they will use the system to assign your character's grades for the year.
[li]The End of the Year Feast
The End of the Year Feast will be posted on Thursday, June 2[sup]nd[/sup] where the house cup for Y12 will be awarded and your characters can say their goodbyes to their friends before the holiday break.
[li]Graduation & Graduates
Graduation will wrap up sometime this week, so make sure you're ready for that change.
Once graduation concludes, graduating students will be put in an "HNZ Graduates" group to wrap up any remaining school-based roleplays.
You are also encouraged to send in any group change request form and outline when you would like to have your character moved from the graduates group. Once sorting opens, all Y12 graduates that did not request a specific group will be moved in to the Members group.
[li]Group Promotions
Group promotions will likely occur on June 3rd or June 4th. At that time, all student characters will be raised to their next year level on the board and in the Gradebook. It is important, therefore, for professors to assign grades while students are still in their Y12 groups (I kind of forget how the system will react to trying to add people to classes and assign them grades if it's too young a year for them - that may require site staff help, so professors, please do it before group promotions). So look forward to that, too.

Sorting will open some time after group promotions occur. Information about sorting and instructions about the processing will be in a future announcement.[/li][/ul]
