The colour of friendship

For once James was heading over to the Slytherin table and it had nothing to do with his girlfriend Charlotte. Though if he spotted her while she was there, he would certainly stay and hang out with her. He was looking for the new Quidditch commentator Leander Hayes as someone had deemed him worthy of a rose. "Leander Hayes," He said approaching the boy. "I have something for you,"

Leander was calmly writing in his notepad when someone called his name. The fifth year looked up and raised his hand to catch the delivery boy's attention.

James saw Leander raise his hand so he began to pull out a yellow rose along with the accompanying note. "Any idea who would send you a rose?" He asked handing over the rose.
