The clash of big events

I noticed whenever there a big event going on, that Brighstones weekend going on. Its not me complaining, but because I'm used to seeing Halloween a lot more active, maybe separate brighstones weekend with events like the Yule Ball and Halloween? That way more events are active, btw I'm active on two characters at the moment. But just to get stuff going? I dunno just a suggestion?

Due to the length of time people need to get threads completed during brightstone "weekends" it's impossible to prevent the overlap.
Any major school functions occur near the end of a weekend, normally, as is seen in this instance. The weekend will close before the feast does.
Also note, the feast may be slightly inactive because:
1) People are choosing not to participate, as is often the case with major things.
2) People are busy with real life right now. (Exams, etc.) If they haven't posted an absence already, it is likely their time is limited on the internet and they are being selective about what they do.
