taking a break

Cyndi shook her head, realizing she was inevitably going to race Alex again. "You are impossible, Alex" Cyndi said with a laugh. "So what are the rules of this race?" Cyndi said knowing that he would probably already have thought of something.

Alex shrugged not really sure what the rules where. 'Umm'he said looking towards the school entrance, spotting whihc method would be the fastest and it wasn't straight on. He knew there was a boggy bit on that path seing as he had got stuck in it on the way down. 'Last one to the hall is a rotten egg'he said before sprinting off, sticking his tongue out at her.

"Hey wait up!"Cyndi yelled at Alex's back as she watched him run off. Here we go again, Cyndi thought as she ran after him. This time she was a little slower than before because she was carrying her stuff from earlier in the day.

alex smiled before noticing he was coming up to the boggy bit. He started running off to the side, glad he still had loads of energy to still burn. His training was certaintly paying off.

Cyndi ran blindly after Alex, not noticing that there was a part of the trail that was boggy until it was too late. Cyndi cursed to herself as her foot sank into the ground and got stuck in the mud. "Hey Alex...help me!" Cyndi yelled. Her hands were full and she couldn't take her wand out to free herself.

Alex had out ran thhe bog when he heard Cyndi ask for help. he slowed and turned round before laughing. 'The one place I avoid and you go step in it'he teased her as he walked over to her. He extended a hand out to her before sighing and taking it back. He decided to just carry her out. Lifting her from the knees and he took a step backwards out the mud. he lost his shoe though and glared at the mud with his now mud covered foot. 'There you go,'he said placing her feet back on the ground and sticking his tongue out at her. he picked his shoe up and sighed, laughing at the soaking wet shoe. 'Oh well'he said before takign the other shoe off. He began running, not bothering about the fact that mud was under his feet. The speed he was going over it though prevented him form sinking.

Cyndi pretended to be mad at Alex for laughing at her but quickly laughed herself at how silly she looked stuck in the mud. She started to reach for his hand, but before she could Alex picked her up and lifted her out. After she was out, Cyndi looked down and saw that from the shins down she was all muddy. She made a mental note to hit the prefects room for a shower as soon as she entered the castle. "Thanks. You're my hero" Cyndi said with a smirk on her face, though she was genuinely happy for him rescuing her from the mud.

She watched Alex lose a shoe, take the other off and then resume running. Cyndi simply shook her head and watched him run off. She surely wasn't going to risk running again because she would probably just end up in another bog.

Alex continued running till he got to the steps. He shook his feet getting feelign back itno them before seeing Cyndi just standing them. He frowned confused why she was just standing there. He waved and pointed to the school before shrugging confused at what she message she was getting. He laughed smiling.

Cyndi began to walk toward the school, with the mud still clinging to her legs. She noticed that Alex was already at the steps to the school and he was waving and pointing. Cyndi gave him a quizzical look, wondering if he saw something going on inside, and began jogging. Then, she noticed that he was laughing, so she figured that he was probably just wondering why she was being so slow.

As she reached the steps, Cyndi looked at how dirty they both looked and couldn't help but laugh, "Wait until everyone sees how dirty we are. We look like we were mud wrestling" she said. She looked back and noticed that they had left muddy footsteps all over the steps.

Alex sighed and started walking again with her his shoes still sticking out his pockets. Alex laughed at her comment, remebering Harri. 'Well, it's not something unusual for me.'he smiled. He rolled his sleeves up feeling it warm in the school. 'Though, I don't really come in barefoot,'he joked looking down at his muddy feet ignoring some of the stares they were getting.

Cyndi gave Alex a sideways glanced and laughed. "Wow, this isn't unusual for you?" she couldn't imagine how some other people might have seen him. She felt the mud all over her beginning to dry. "Man, this is gross" she murmured to herself.

((Should we continue this somewhere near the main entrance?))

Alex laughed. 'Nope'Alex replied smiling. He laughed again when she commented it was gross. 'Really? It doesn't bother me,'Alex commented back before getting his wand and using scourgify on her.

(do u? I think we should try and wrap it up actually. it is last years after all. :p history. )

Cyndi smiled as Alex began to use scourgify on her. "Thanks, but you don't have to do this. I'm headed up to the prefects room right now to get all of this off." Cyndi began to head off and then turned around and said with a smirk "See you around Alex...despite all this mud and all the racing you made me do...today was a fun day."

((I forgot this was from last year. yea, we prob should wrap this up then))

Alex laughed. 'Now you tell me'he said putting his wand back into his back pocket. He rolled his eyes at her last comment. 'Anytime'he said back to her laughing before going to the hall for a drink.
