Raafe had always liked cameras in theory, he liked old stuff, especially old muggle stuff, but he'd never really used them for anything other than snapping a few random photos of things around the house or outside. Taking portraits of people seemed like a whole nother level, more so than being the guy to hit the button on the camera for family holiday photos, and Raafe figured some practice was in order. If he was going to make this camera guy stuff into his new personality while Anisha was busy, he needed to get better at it.

Finding willing subjects for said practice however had proven surprisingly difficult. For whatever reason, fewer people were willing to let Raafe point a camera at them or take his requests seriously, so Raafe had decided a more unavoidable approach would have to be necessary. "Smile!" He announced to a person passing by, allowing them only enough time to turn their head to the noise before he snapped a photo of them. "Great job," he assured them.

Ezra had take to carrying his guitar around, mostly to show off that he had one. He hadn't played much because he hadn't practiced much lately. Though he knew he probably should. He was heading off to the arts room to do some practicing where he wouldn't be overheard. After all, he didn't know if he still sounded okay. Ezra was just thinking of what he might play and if he should owl aunt Vera for some music advice when someone called at him to smile. He did so automatically, turning his head as someone took a picture of him. He blinked at the flash, then finally focused on who it was. "Oh, hey Raafe." He said with a bemused smile. "If you wanted my picture to frame and put on your wall you could've just asked." He joked lightly.

Raafe had been pointing his camera at random but he had admit it was nice to get a familiar face as Ezra turned. It didn’t hurt that Ezra had a nice smile either, Raafe thought distantly, lowering his camera and squinting at Ezra directly. “You keeping copies of your headshot for that reason on you? Very prepared,” he said flatly, raising the camera again to catch the more natural smile now gracing Ezra’s lips. For someone who hung around with the likes of Dorian all the time, he certainly was way more personable than his friend.

Ezra grinned at Raafe's joke. The other boy sometimes was a bit too sharp for him, too quick with his jokes, but he could play along this time. He patted his guitar. "Exactly, will come in handy when I'm a famous musician." He joked, hoping it was clear to Raafe that he was joking and not horribly arrogant. He let Raafe take another photo of him. "Is that what you're doing? Collecting people's photos in case they become famous one day and you'll be able to sell them for lots?" He asked with an amused smile.
