Jenna smiled as Sam rocked her, and she then looked up at him and said, "I know.. thank you." Jenna put her hand on Sam's cheek and gave him a look that said, I know you will, and I will be there for you as well. She then broke into a wide smile.

Sam touched her hand which was on his cheek and pressed it against it. It was warm. Sam kissed the inside of her hand. Sam smiled at her smile. It was a happy beautiful, not that all her smiles were beautiful. This one outdid them all.

Sam then took her hand from his cheek and clasped it in both of his hands, he then looked out to the lake.

Jenna blushed as Sam kissed her hand then she leaned in close to Sam and kissed his cheek, she blushed even more as she leaned back and looked into Sam's eyes, her own dancing excitedly then she sighed in comfort and looked back over to the water.

Sam smiled as she kissed his cheek. Sam was feeling very happy right now. "Hmm...do you remeber when we met?" he asked remembering the train. He realised he had liked her from the beginning.

Jenna bit her lip and said, "Vaguely but yes why?" Jenna wondered what what he was thinking about now, obviously something about the two of them meeting but what in particular? She remembered being a little bit of a spaz but really there wasn't much.

Sam laughed, he didn't know why it seemed so special. "Umm..nothing. That was one of the times I broke your hand." he said, it had occured many times after that. And he did feel guilty. "Okay..you'll probably laugh at this..but since we met..I dunno..I thought that this would happen." he said happily holding up their intwined hands.

Jenna blushed as Sam mentioned when she broke her hand. "First off you didn't break my hand, I was a spaz and I broke it, just like all the other times." Jenna beamed at Sam when he said that he thought that this would happen. "You're sweet," Jenna stated in a soft whisper.

Sam wanted to close hr mouth, "No! Last time I checked I ticked you off." Sam laughed. "The wall just happened to get in your way" he teased playfully. "You do have a good punch though." he admitted.

Jenna blushed slightly and joked, "I grew up with boys, of course I do." She chuckled slightly at this then said, "I don't think you ticked me off, I think I was embarrassed that I liked you when you didn't like me and I got frustrated with myself, but I'm not all that sure." Jenna blushed slightly and said, "I'm silly aren't I?" Jenna then laughed at her own stupidity.

Sam furrowed his eyebrows, "Jenn...I liked you then. I was just freaking out. I mean you were the first girl I ever liked.." Sam admited. "Your just a silly goose." he joked and ruffled her hair.

Jenna smiled softly then said, "Oh well you were one of the first boys I liked, and I like you now, let's not dwell on the past." Jenna pulled Sam's hand down as Sam ruffled her hair then giggled slightly and she leaned in once and kissed the bridge of Sam's nose affectionately.

Sam nodded, "Me too." he did, he really liked her. Sam then smiled, "You missed." he teased as she kissed the bridge of his nose and he then pressed his lips against hers. His insides jumped around happily.

Jenna blushed brightly as Sam teased her then kissed her, as they pulled apart she opened her eyes, they were dancing excitedly, and her heart fluttered slightly as she said, "Did I now? Maybe that was part of my plan." Jenna giggled slightly at this.

When they pulled away Sam was buzzing. "Hmm...maybe it was. Ah well. I fell for it...falling for it." he said kindly and traced his figners over her hand softly. He never wanted to leave where he was right now.

Jenna watched as Sam traced his fingers over her hand, a smile touched her lips and she rested her head on Sam's shoulder softly then said whispered softly, "Hmm this has been the best day." Jenna blushed as she realized that she actually said that allowed and didn't think it.

Sam nodded, "It really has. I can't imagine changing anything about it." Sam said happily. "Everything about it is so perect." He whispered meaning more above anything else.

She beamed at Sam and said quietly, "Me neither." Jenna looked into the water, but her gaze was taken off by an owl. She raised her eye brow slightly, was that Owen's Owl? "No it can't be," Jenna mumbled under her breath. Sure enough the Owl cam to a halt right in front of them. Jenna swallowed hard when she recognized her Mother's writing.

Jenna looked over at Sam and then back at the small Ear less Owl. Jenna leaned over and took the letter off of it's leg and said to the Owl, "Go up to the Owlrey, I'll see you in a little bit." She just looked at the letter, her heart pounding so hard. She couldn't open it, she didn't want to, she knew what would be in it. She wanted to be ignorant, she didn't want to know that her brother died.

Sam sighed in comfort when he soon was distracted by an owl. "What can't be?" Sam turned to look at her. He began to panic when he looked at her face. "What is it?" Sam asked her. Sam didn't move he just hoped it wasn't what he thought it was.

Jenna sunk into Sam's arms and she said, "It's from my Mom." She looked at Sam nervously, before taking a deep breath and said in a small voice, "I'll read it later, it can't be too important." Her owl hooted once as if was disagreeing with her then flying up to the Owlrey.

Sam tightened his grip around her, he was unsure why she wouldn't open it but he didn't want to force her into anything she was uncomfortable with. "Umm...are you sure?" The lettermust have been important if the owl didn't just wait at the owlery for her, "It may be important." he added.

Jenna sighed once and said, "I'm afraid." She looked down at the letter and she opened it carefully, she didn't care if Sam read it or not, then she began reading it.
Dear Jenni,

I've got some bad news. Owen got even worse, the doctor said that it's more then Spattergroit now, he wont last very long. Actually he will be leaving us this month, the doctor said that it was some sort of cancer as well, it's inoperable now. I'm so sorry I didn't tell you earlier but I think you need to come home and be with us, the family needs you.

Love,
Mom

Jenna's mouth opened in shock, then she closed her mouth and tears formed in her eyes and she barried her head in Sam's chest as she cried.

Sam rubbed her shoulder, "Don't be its okay." As she opened it Sam wasn't sure should he read it or not, though she wasn't keeping it from him so he skimmed through it. His heart broke for her. He could see the pain in her eyes which were filled with tears. Sam rocked her soothingly and stroked her hair, "I'm so sorry Jenn.." was all he could muster out, he thought that maybe the best thing was her just to cry right now.

[can you post in the halloween thread? that would be great thanks love]

Jenna didn't know what to do, her only brother was dying and there was really nothing she could do. She was heart broken, but part of her was quite relieved that Sam was here now, she needed him. Jenna tilted her head up to look at Sam, her eyes were blood shot and sad. She just looked at Sam, unable to say anything, she wanted to ask him how this could happen, and why it would happen to him.

Sam shook his head sadly, "This isn't far you don't deserve this.." he said his voice was torn. "Iknow this won't change things" he paused, "But if you need someone to cry to, to scream at someone or even to punch someone. I'm here for you. Always. No matter what." he pulled her closer and kissed her forehead. He didn't know what to do next, he never dealt with something this hard.

Jenna's lips twitched upward as Sam said punch, she of course thought that was a joke, she didn't want to hurt him any more. Her lips quivered then formed back into a frown and she choked out, "I.. I have to g..go home." Jenna needed to be with her brother before he died, she had to be there for her mom and dad, but she didn't want to go, she wanted to stay here.
