Holidays are here and just as promised by the Sparkes household, they would be going to their New Zealand house for a well-deserved vacation. Cassiopeia, despite being a quiet child, was also excited at the prospect of wandering the streets on her own without being shy from strangers. After getting settled in her own room, she asked permission to go out and have a look around the neighborhood.

After an hour of window shopping, she decided to stop at a cafe for some brunch since all she had was some milk toast. Entering the small cafe, she was a bit disappointed to see that there were already many people there. Spotting the only remaining small table, Cassi made a dash for it and took a seat and waited for someone to take her order. Despite the full capacity of the shop, Cassi observed that many patrons still come and go.

Cadell rather enjoyed the holidays when they finally came around and was happy to finally be out of school again and take a break from the studying. The boy had just finished his OWL year and it was much harder than what he initially imagined. After all, they were only exams, but the added pressure of having to do well in them to determine the subjects he was allowed to take the following year was always on his shoulders. It felt good now to be able to relax until his NEWTs which were another two years away. Better yet, his sister was attending school this year in New Zealand and he was excited to see how she would go. The boy had just finished helping her buy her school supplies in Obsidian Harbour, and whilst she went shopping with their mothers, Cadell was making his way through the muggle shops mainly out of curiosity. New Zealand wasn't much different to where he came from in Wales or America and it mainly consisted of the same things such as supermarkets, cafe's and newsagents. The boy decided he would make his way into one of the cafes for lunch and was a bit taken aback with the amount of people that were there. The only table he found that seemed approachable was one with a girl around his age sitting quietly as all of the other ones were taken. He walked over to her. "Hey, do you mind if I sit down?" Cadell asked, hoping him joining a stranger for lunch wasn't going to be too awkward.

Cassi was looking outside the cafe window after she observed that the waitresses were still rushing to and fro, bringing orders to other people who were there before her. With nothing to do and her hands unoccupied, she started playing with the scarf she had around her neck. She was actually having fun observing the busy shoppers outside when a voice near her spoke out. Startled, she almost jumped out of her chair. She was able to recover from the shock when she was met with a friendly face. He was not from her school and they seemed to be the same age. Normally a shy girl, Cassi thought New Zealand was not the right place for her to draw back and be her usual self. Elvira had taught her that. Cassi thought that Elvira started influencing her already the more time she spent with the alternate seeker. She gave the boy a smile of her own, "No, of course not. Have a seat.", she gestured to the chair across her with her hand.

Cadell felt quite embarrassed that his approach had startled the girl, but he shook it off, assuming that the girl was probably not paying much attention anyway. He couldn't blame her as often he found himself in worlds of his own and so did not embarrass her by pointing it out. Instead, he thanked the girl for letting him sit with her as he did so, pulling out the chair across from her and taking a seat. He then proceeded to reach for the menu in the middle of the table. "Have you ever been here before to know what the food is like?" he asked, figuring starting a conversation wouldn't hurt. After all, she seemed nice enough to talk to and Cadell was glad to do so in hopes it would make the whole situation a bit more comfortable for them both.

Cassi smiled as the boy took the chair across her. Observing him reach for the menu made Cassi looked around again for the server to take their orders. She turned back to her companion when he asked her a question with regards to the food the cafe served. She smiled for she also did not know as well. "It's my first time here as well. Might as well discover new things right?", she asked in return with a brighter smile. Elvira was definitely influencing her. She had shared a table with a stranger, engaged in a conversation and now trying new things. "Since we're sharing a table and later on have a meal together, might as well get to know each other.", she placed her hand in front of her in the middle of the table. "I'm Cassiopeia. Or Cassi." He looked nice and comfortable to talk to, not to mention his good looks.

Cadell nodded as the girl stated she also hadn't tried any of the food before and continued looking down at the menu. It seemed that the place was pretty busy and so Cadell kept this in mind as he went through the different selections. He didn't want something that was going to take too long to make and so he was stuck deciding between a simple garden salad or a small chicken wrap. The Ravenclaw looked up however as the girl continued to speak and introduced herself. "I think I'll just call you Cassi." Cadell said, chuckling slightly. Her actual name seemed so much more harder to say and so he would just leave it at that. "My name is Cadell. It's nice to meet you." He put out a hand for her to shake before proceeding to place the menu back down on the table, having already decided he could do with a chicken wrap. "How long have you been waiting here for? They sure do seem really busy."

Cassi smiled when Cadell, as he introduced himself, said he would go by her nickname. She nodded at this and smiled while taking the hand offered for a handshake. "Cadell. Nice name. Nice to meet you too.", she replied brightly. She watched as he looked over the menu, then after deciding on something, placed the menu on the table. She took it and read the menu for her own order. With the place packed, she needed something that was easy and quick to prepare. Settling for a chicken wrap and some orange juice, she closed the menu shortly. She looked up when Cadell asked her on how long she was waiting there. She chuckled before answering, "Not that long. It has just been ten minutes when you came in and approached me."

Cadell nodded a thanks at the girl's compliment to his name as he waited for someone to serve them. He quite liked his name too as he hadn't met anyone else yet with the same one. He smiled. "Oh that's good. I don't want to be waiting here forever." he told Cassi, chuckling slightly. He knew that it wouldn't be long as he saw people walking out and serving the others and knew it would be their turn soon. When he saw a lady approach them he beamed before ordering his food along with a bottle of water. He felt his stomach rumble and his cheeks turned a shade of pink as the waitress turned her attention to Cassi, hoping no one else had heard it.

Sorry it's crap ;-;

Cassi smiled at Cadel,thinking what she could say to him. Thankfully,the server came and took their orders. She just gave her order before shifting her attention back to Cadel. She noticed that he turned a shade of pink. Curious and seeing it as a way to spark another topic,she leaned forward and asked,"You okay?You seemed flushed after the waitress was here."
