Stay away from me!

Zac wasn't expecting Veronica to be able to forgive him, he didn't understand her. She was obviously blaming him for the break up "Dear Merlin! Stop blaming me Veronica!" He scratched his head and threw his hand to his side. She knew that the girl was mad at him but Zac hated being blamed. "After all, it was your choice too. Either you wanna drink or not" He took a deep breath as his heart beat raced faster. "If I don't want to be friends with you, I wont smile at you in the field earlier" He said flatly.

"And again. I'm not stopping you from doing whatever you want, it's your life and it's your choice and I don't expect you to care about what I care or to care about me" He said with a sad tone. "I'm outta this school" He muttered softly so that no one could hear him. Zac was never like this, he was always quiet and calm and a smile always appear on his face even though he was sad but perhaps he was too disappointed.

Veronica stood there watching him talk. "Yeah okay" she said a small smile appearing on her face as he told her that he wouldn't have smiled at her earlier if he didn't want to be friends. "Thanks" she said looking up at him with a smile. At least they could be friends till they were in the same school. "By the way, how did you get into a fight?"she asked curiously.

"Does Valentine..have a crush on me?"she asked with a sigh. "I seriously won't be able to handle that" she added with a smile.

Zac couldn't believe what he saw, Veronica's mood was changed for a second. That was awkward really, Zac could never do that. But a sister of his could do that, she was in fact tougher than Zac but she wasn't as patience as him. "I don't know" He shrugged he didn't really care about that lad, he gave him bruises and that was all he knew. "I think there are many dangerous students lately. I've heard you've gotten into a fight with a couple of Japanese student? I've heard of the brother before, stay away from him, there were 4 of them. Two of them were dangerous and the rest were all right." Zac warned her in a serious tone, he couldn't remember the name of the family (Watanuki). Zac stayed away from those who got O's in dark art class, he didn't want to mess up with them.

"I don't know" He replied to her after she asked him about Valentine. "I know nothing about him" He said without smiling. He couldn't reply her smile, he was far too disappointed but if she could lighten his mood then he probably could do that but if not then forget it.

Veronica watched as Zac talked about her getting to fights with the Japanese students. Was he caring for her? It sounded weird but she was thankful to him. "Yeah, they're dangerous" she shruged. "The girl gives me creeps but I wanted them to know that they don't own the place" she explained to him. Zac had seen one of the fights of course in the potions room but she hadn't fought them second time in the common room. Zac was right, they were dangerous. "I'll try stay out of it" she told him with a grin.

"Sort of unexpected, seeing you fight but well, I knew he must have started it" she said as she started to walk towards the common room. She wished he would tell her the exact thing that had mad them fight but she wasn't going to push it. She also wanted to ask him whether Josh and Ken were hooking up again or something but discussing break up season with her ex-boyfriend wasn't the greatest thing to do.

Zac looked at Veronica in the eye still without a smile as he listen to her speaking. "The girl is younger than us right? And the brother of hers is in our age. Kyouhei wasn't it? I've seen him slamming a girl before. Please... Just stay out of him give him whatever he want and don't go near him" Zac said in a serious tone. He was serious about seeing the lad slamming a girl to the wall until she fainted and he couldn't imagine if a friend of his was in that position.

Valentine was absolutely off his topic and he didn't know why Veronica brought it up. "He's a kid" He shrugged, the only thing that he could say was that. The lad was acting like a baby that was all he knew.

"Yeah, I think so" she said a little uncertain about the Watanuki's age. She was surprised to hear that the guy was slamming some girl. That sounded serious maybe she could report to a prefect. She wasn't a normal complainer and follower of the right path but if she was going to listen to Zac then she would have to do it legally. "Relax" she told him.

"What was that about 'I'm outta this school?" she asked wondering if Zac was serious about leaving Durmstrang because that would well.. be sad. "Are you leaving?"

Zac shrugged when Veronica asked him if he was leaving "If Sally's not coming then I'm leaving" He said simply, he didn't know if he should be happy or not. He was a little concern about Sally's safety here in the school since the Beauxbatons students weren't as dangerous as those in Durmstrang. So there was a 70% chance of Zac leaving Durmstrang. "Why d'you ask?" He asked randomly not really caring about the answer. Zac had changed and let's just hope if Sally came, he could be like he used to be.

Veronica nodded when he said that the siblings were hoping to be in the same school. Quite understandable, she thought wondering if she would miss him or not. Maybe she would miss seeing him in class and around the school but all the 'love' for Zac was now gone and she wouldn't miss being together with him. In fact she didn't even miss it now. "Curiosity, I think" she told him as they climbed up the staircase. "The school change might effect your OWL year though" she added wondering if Zac had considered that he might be asked to repeat his year or something.

Zac did care about his grades however he wasn't going to risk his sister, the school was a little dangerous for her since Sally had an attitude like the rest of the Beauxbatons students. "True but my sister's safety is my number one priority. But if she insist, then I shall stay here" He said thinking about his sister, she was the prettiest girl he had ever met. If there was another girl like her, Zac would probably fall in a second. Actually there was, Sandy... She was pretty outside and inside, and even though Zac was only a child, he had been protecting her since they were little until her death.

Veronica had to agree with that. Durmstrang was high on the list of dangerous schools and of course Zac would shift if it meant protecting Sally by doing so. They reached the common room a few heads turning their way probably wondering if they were dating again. She stopped walking and turned to face him "I guess I'll go to my dorm now, got some homework" she said with a smile glad that she was able to talk to him again, in a normal way.
