Daniel wasn't the happiest at the moment. The lawfirm wasn't doing to well which made him angry, was he the only one that had to work on this? Daniel rubbed his forehead before putting his sunglasses on. Today he was going to meet with Abby again, which added a bit of happiness into his life at the moment. Dan really did like Abby and hoped that things were going to go smooth between the two. Meeting for dinner was always a nice thing to do, plus a nice patio seat would surely do something fun.

The oldest Finnigan walked plainly across a few streets, making left turns and right turns to find his way. Could Dan see a future with Abby? Of course he could, she was a wonderful girl and he really liked her a lot. Tonight would hopefully be the night that he could ask her if she would be his girlfriend. It was old fashioned but that's what he was like. Dan entered the restaurant with a bit more happiness knowing that Abby was going to be there soon. He walked through the door and back out onto the patio, it was a very nice view of the lake, which made it a bit better.

Abby stood infront of the mirror as she fixed her hair. She had decided to leave it down for her little dinner with Daniel. She really liked him and she hoped that they would become something more. But as of yet they were just very good friends. So when he had invited her out to dinner she got excited and wanted to look good tonight. It was a proper restaurant and everything. No cheap skating here. As she pulled the last strand into place and made finishing touches with her make up Abby went downstairs and got in the taxi she had called. Seeing as she didn't actually have her liscence anymore she had to catch public transport with the normal people. As the driver took her to her destination Abby couldn't help but to hope that she would get what she wanted. She could definately see herself having a future with Daniel. He was kind and that was the biggest thing she looked for in a relationship. He was also quite strong-willed. She could definately see herself in a few years time with Daniel by her side.

As Abby walked into the restaurant she looked around for Daniel. Spotting him out on the patio, she smiled and headed towards him. "Hey you, thankyou for inviting me out." She said as she walked up to stand beside him and smiled.

Daniel took a deep breath that escaped from his lungs, he had to tell himself that everything was going to be ok and Abby was going to be there soon. He stood up and looked at the water. How something could be so peaceful was beyond his comprehension. Daniel hoped that maybe Abby could help him with his troubles and hopefully give him some advice. " Well look who it is." Dan gave her a side hug. " How are you Abby? I've missed you." He gave her a warm smile.

Abby smiled when Daniel hugged her. "Yeah, I missed you too, and I am feeling quite good at the moment. Now that I have been working for Estrella for a while, its been fun." She said as she smiled. He looked well, but she could tell that something was troubling him. She wanted to know what but she wanted to be careful so as not to look like she was being nosy. "Hey, are you ok Dan? You seem troubled by something?" She asked as she placed a reassuring hand on his arm. Just watching stare out at the water made her see that he wasn't in a happy-go-lucky mood right now. She wanted to help him in any way that she could.

Daniel nodded along with her words, " I'm glad that your work is fun, I can only imagine working with kids." He laughed. " To be honest Abby, I'm not doing well at work. The law firm is declining and it seems like I'm the only one who's caring and working their butt off to make it work." He shook his head. " My brother isn't doing much, he's goofing around a lot and I'm just really stressed." He rubbed his forehead. " I'm sorry to put all of this on you." He rubbed her shoulder.

Abby nodded as Daniel laughed. "Working with kids is amazing. I love them so much. I simply can't wait to settle down and have my own." She said as she smiled at him. Then she frowned as she listened to how bad his work was going. She hated hearing people talk about how bad work was. She much prefered people to talk about good work not bad work. "Oh no Dan, thats terrible, well is there anything I can do to help you?" She asked as she held his hands in hers. "Don't worry, I don't mind, really I don't. I would much rather you feel better." She told him.

Dan would much rather work with kids, " I might just end up taking a job with kids." He said, having a little laugh. " No, I just feel better telling someone, I just don't even know what to do. If I ask my father to help me with this, he's going to think that I can't handle this type of work." Dan lead her to their seats, pulling hers out for her, seating her in it and pushing her in. " I'm just super confused that's all, and stressed out if you can tell." He laughed a bit. " But we can't let that ruin the night. How's life other than work?" Dan asked curiously.

Abby nodded as she listened to Dan's story. She felt sorry for him. She really liked him and she didn't like to see him unhappy. She smiled as he showed her to her seat and helped her into it. She nodded and placed her bag down by her feet before placing her hands elegantly on the table. "Then we shall not talk of your work if it upsets you so." She said as she brushed a loose strand out of her eye. "Well, my brother has been taking odd jobs as a photographer recently. I guess with him being gay and all its the perect job." She laughed softly. "I have a new nephew aswell, apparently Austiin adopted him a few months ago, but I found out only recently, something about not wanting him to get scared because of the largeness of or family or something?" She said shrugging. "Other then that, nothing."

Eventually I was thinking of having Austiin, Abby and Dan in a thread so that Austiin can meet Abby's boyfriend if you want too

Daniel smiled, he liked hearing that her life was good. But he was interested in meeting her brother, " Oh, I'm going to have to meet your brother of course." He chuckled as she handed her a menu. " A photographer? That's really amazing, never thought of that job for myself though." He scratched the back of his head, looking at the menu. " Largeness? Then he's never heard of the Finnigan's has he? My father had like ten kids." Daniel laughed, closing his menu. He looked around for a waiter, motioning him to their table. " I'll have the usual and a soda, not feeling the alcohol today David." He shook his head, looking at Abby, waiting for her to order.

Ok sounds good :)

Abby smiled as Daniel mentioned he wanted to meet her brother. She wasn't sure how the two would get along. Austiin was definately alittle too overprotective. She shook her head. "Well ok, but I don't know how you two will get along." She said laughing slightly "He has this habit of pointing out flaws, like wrinkled clothes or whatever." She said as she shook her head and sighed. She nodded as Daniel mentioned her brothers career choice. "Yes, he works for a fashion magazine usually but he is off work for a while. Sort of a Paternity leave." She said as she looked down at the menu he had handed her. She was glad for this dinner. Though he usually had a reason for inviting her so she wondered what reason was behind this one. "Ten kids? Really? Wow, that is alot of family. I'm going to have to meet some." She said as she decided she would have a salad and water. She had been feelig sick lately and had decided that vegetarianism was a nice way to go. Atleast until she felt better. "I'd just like a Salad with water please." She said as she handed him the menu and looked back at Daniel. "So, is there any particular reason we are here tonight?" She asked. She didn't care if there wasn't, she was simply curious. People don't go out to dinner for no reason.

Daniel laughed, " Oh I'm sure that we're going to get along.. I'll make us get along if we have too. And I'll iron my clothes before I leave the house." The brown haired boy still laughed. " That's alright, I need someone like that to keep my life on track, I have a feeling him and I can become best friends in no time." He leaned back in his chair, the sun was glaring right at him which was a bit uncomfortable. " Yup ten kids, apparently my younger sister has a twin too.. so let's make it eleven kids." Daniel rubbed his head, a lot of siblings, even though his two other sisters had just passed away. " Reason? Can't we just go out to eat dinner?" He gave her a cheeky smile, showing his white teeth. " But really, I just want to say, thank you for being there for me when I babble and complain, I'll always be there for you Abby. I really really like you." Daniel admitted, he had some pretty big feelings for her.

Abby laughed slightly as she shook her head at Daniel. He was really trying to push the issue of Austiin. "Ok whatever, but really I'd be very impressed if he liked you straight up. He is very protective of me and the twins these days. Don't know why, but he is for some reason." She added as she tried to fix a wrinkle in her dress. Her nail polish was chipping abit but that didn't matter much really. It was only nail polish, and it was pretty cheap too. Perhaps Daniel and Austiin could become friends. But she didn't really want them to be bestfriends, that would be kind of weird actually. "The sun glaring at you? Would you like me to move? So that the sun is out of your face?" She asked. She looked quite majestic with the sun as an outline. So she thought it would make her look nice now too. But she would only move if he wanted her too. "Ten kids is alot, but eleven. Wow, I'll bet your house was busy at christmas time." She said as she shook her head in awe. Then she nodded. "Well yes we can, I was just wondering if there was a..." She trailed off as she realised that Daniel was still talking. She was taken back by what he said. "No need to thank me, I like you too, of course I'd sit here and listen to you. Its not like your boring me. You are actually quite interesting. Your welcome by the way." She said as she rested her had on the tabled to play with the lace over it.
