Staff Dueling - Spectators

This topic is available for spectators of the Professors & Staff Duels to post in. I am unsure of how well this will work out as multiple duels are taking place, but not simultaneously, but I wanted to offer the option of reacting to the duels and supporting your favourite staff members. For clarity, tagging the duelists you are spectating in your post as a small note may be helpful.

[Professor Kalif Styx]

Professor Kalif Styx did not sign up for the dueling, considering that he was a little behind on his work, be it on essays of his students, and his own family as well. He had a lot of work to do, so he took in a pile of parchment, ink and a quill. As he got to work, the Slytherin Head of House glanced up every now and again to see who was dueling. He did actually have a few preferences on who would win or lose. He preferred anyone over Haden, so he would like to see the new Potions girl get the upper hand on him. The rest, he did not mind as much, though over time, Kalif did seem to favor one of his first students, the Gryffindor Head of House. Perhaps not as friends, but someone he tolerated more than the rest.

[Jacob Kingsley]

Tagging: His mama's duel

Jacob hadn't believed the gossipers saying that his mother had signed up to join the professor's duel. There was just no way. His jaw had dropped when he'd heard the next duel announced. How hadn't he known? The first match had been fun to watch, but he hadn't known either person. This was his mother! Jacob knew that face well, and when he'd finally gathered himself, he knew the other professor had better watch out. When his mother had that face, she meant business.

@Professor Cyndi Kingsley vs Professor Bella Matthias

The opportunity to watch some of his favourite, or least favourite professors duel each other was one Gideon wouldn't miss for the world. The list of who would be competing was kind of surprising, as Gid had expected Professor Styx to be competing, as the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor. What was more surprising than that however, was finding the Slytherin Head of House amongst the other spectators, just casually grading some paperwork or something while the duels took place. Trying to ignore the man, and his general scary presence, Gideon made his way toward the front of the crowd with a sign he had gotten from the SDA group, with his own head of house's name on it. The boy had been hoping to see all of the Heads duel one another and see who came out on top as the best house, but unfortunately, only two of the four had signed up. It didn't matter too much, Professor Kingsley could still represent their house all the same. "You can do it Professor Kingsley! Show them what Gryffindor is made of!" Gideon cheered, holding his sign of support high above his head for her to see, and hopefully not become too distracted by. ​

@Professor Kingsley vs. Professor Aeon Summers

Bee watched the duels excitedly, clapping and cheering each time the professors did something really cool. But was clearly rooting for her Head of House to win and made sure everyone knew that with the sign she had. As the woman advanced to the next round, almost in the finals if she could just beat the Transfiguration teacher, Bee yelled and hollered for her, not considering the distraction it might cause. But then again hopefully it would get her opponent flustered. Bee held up a sign that read KINGSLEY IS GRYFFINDOR'S PRIDE! and yelled, "Get him Professor!" not bothering with specificities like names because everyone knew which professor she was referring to. Professor Kingsley had come this far, all she needed to do was win this round to go up against the last contender and then the tournament was hers! Would Gryffindor get points for her win? Bee really wanted to win the House Cup this year so she hoped they did!

@Professor Kingsley vs. Professor Aeon Summers

Willow took her seat in the spectators stand ready for the next set of duels. she had watched the previous rounds and was happy to see that professor kingsley had mad her way through easily. she was dressed in red and had the poster that she had made in the duelling club saying go professor Kingsley in sparkly gold writing.
She saw bee was also sitting in the stands. she smiled at the girl and was happy to see that she was also supporting their head of house. as the match started she cheered as her professor landed a spell on professor summers.
