Once more the Sorting had come upon Hogwarts in sunny New Zealand. The curly headed blonde looked wistfully toward the windows then rolled her eyes as the damned floodgates seemed to open up. Who was she kidding? It was rarely sunny in New Zealand. Not that she didn't mind normally but just once...She sighed and entered the Great Hall where she noticed students had already been gathered at their house tables. Standing toward the front were the Unsorted students. Cecily smiled at them gently, noticing a few trembling with fear or excitement, she wasn't quite sure. She couldn't help baring her teeth, the grin turning a bit feral, at a student with their nose turned up and glaring at the others. Their eyes widened before their nose lowered and a bit of trembling set in. The Headmistress couldn't help but chuckle in her throat. With Gabe gone, she'd taken to harassing students here and there for amusement. After all, who could she prank with? Kalif? The snicker turned into a cough as she caught sight of the tall, white-blond haired man.

A large hand patting her on the back a little too enthusiastically caused her to stumble on the dais leading to the podium. The Great Hall was filled with the chaos that went with too many students gathered on the first night of school. Cecily turned and grabbed onto the podium to keep from falling, brushing off the large hand that sought to steady her. Green eyes met concerned silver and though she loved the man who was being protective...overly so...her emotions were a bit all over the place. It made for quite the mood swing.

"For Merlin's sake, Prodan, I'm pregnant, not a bloody invalid!"

Silence. Very noticeable silence. Cecily sighed, straightened her robes over her still slender form and turned to face the silent sea of young faces. Oh yes, dear, what a banging way to start the new year...announce you're preggers.... "Welcome back to the lot of you! And a very warm welcome to the new faces I see tonight!" She looked over her shoulder at Prodan, who was pink cheeked and rubbing the back of his neck with one hand. She winked at him, all crankiness forgotten at his little boy grin, and looked back at the crowd as he took his seat.

She quickly explained how the Sorting worked; they would come up as their name was called, sit on the stool, she'd place the Sorting Hat on their head, be sorted, then they would take their place at the house table of their new house. After they were all sorted, she placed the hat on the stool.

"Congratulations on your new houses! Now, eat, drink and be merry. Oh and upper years, try to keep the hazing to a minimum this year." With a wink, she took her seat beside her husband and kissed his cheek. He murmured something that made her laugh loudly, then smile at him with warmth and more than a little love as he slid a plate of fruit and vegetables her way. Oh yes, this year was going to be a good one.

As stated in the Information about Sorting thread, you must fill out the sorting form entirely properly and fill in an RP as exemplified in the post. If your RP does not leave room for the sorting hat to sort you: you will not be sorted. If the sorting hat does not receive your sorting form: you will not be sorted.
Follow instructions and: you will be sorted.

You can edit your post once you are sorted, but be sure that you only reply to this topic once and it is through the sorting form provided. Thank you.

It comes but once, but once each year,
When, I, the sorting hat appear.
I appear to sort the latest batch,
To look within and find a match.
To seek the person who does reside,
Beneath the skin, deep down inside.

Rest assured, I do take care,
To avoid mistakes and always be fair,
Because I know my duty is very great,
The decisions I make affecting fate.
So do not approach with a sense of fear,
Embarrassed when seated upon your rear.
And when I’m placed upon your head,
Your thoughts should not be full of dread.
Approach with confidence, pure and true,
Give me the chance to honour you.

Those who step forth brave with pride,
Likely in Gryffindor they will reside.
Fire and Lion, scarlet and gold,
A house of friends, strong and bold.

Hard working kids who value fair play,
May find that Hufflepuff is where they stay.
The Earth and Badger, yellow and black.
Loyalty and tolerance, keep them on track.

Creativity and intelligence will help some soar,
Above the rest to Ravenclaw’s door.
Air and Eagle, bronze and blue.
The wisdom to make dreams come true.

And finally those, resourceful and cunning,
Ambitious and powerful are in the running.
They’ll join the house of silver and green,
Where water and serpents stage the scene.

Now, one last thing, please take heed,
Here is some advice that you may need.
This school has grown in a short time,
So have mistakes and heinous crime.
A challenge to all present, to look within,
No matter the house I've placed you in.
To do your best and persevere,
To use your strengths and face your fear.

The time has come, no more delay,
I call you forth, come on, let’s play.

Taylor followed the other people into the Entrance Hall, and smirked slightly when she saw the sorting hat. It was rather dirty and frayed, and she wasn't looking forward to putting it on her head, but hopefully it wouldn't be that long. She watched the first few people get sorted. Mud-bloods some of them were, and she wrinkled her nose in distaste. Why should mud-bloods be allowed here at Hogwarts? They deserve to stay in the muggle world where they belong! She flicked her hair over her shoulder, and glanced towards the Slytherin table where her half-sister Shaylah was. She smiled slightly at her, not showing that she was nervous. She was a Rouge and Rouge's never showed that they were nervous. It was something that she had done ever since she was a young girl.

"Rouge, Taylor?" She heard and her head snapped towards where the sorting hat was. She quickly walked forward and placed the hat on her head. 'Just place me where I belong, hat' She thought. She then thought about it and added as an afterthought in a sarcastic tone 'Please.'

"Does there always have to be a Slytherin who doesn't respect magic? Young lady, I'm more magical than your entire family combined. Salazaar respected me, and somehow you're above that? You've plenty to learn. May as well learn it from your peers. Yes. You heard me. You're a SLYTHERIN!"

Flora entered the great hall and looked around with a vacant expression on her face. The thought for going up and standing in front off all those people terrified her. I just know its going to be like the school play where I barfed all over the stage Flora thought as her face paled a bit making her violet eyes stand out more. Flora tried to find Dante in the crowd for moral support but there were just to many students for her to find him. Flora watched as a few students were called before her name was called. Curse my name for starting with an A She thought her stomach feeling queasy. Flora began walking up to the stool, her legs feeling like jelly. Once she was on the chair Flora got one second to look out onto the crowd before the hat was placed on her head and slipped over her eyes. Oh please get this over with! was her only thought as she started feeling more and more nauseous.

"You're kind, like a Hufflepuff. But not honest enough. Your intelligence, though, and your love of books... those things make you a RAVENCLAW!"

Stella's palms were sweaty. She didn't know what to expect. Admittedly, the walk in had at first taken her breath away. But after her first reaction, she got informed that she had to put a hat on her head. A hat?? Stella thought. What the heck will that do?. She shifted her weight from one foot to the other several times, nervously glancing around her, searching to see if there was a chance where she could escape. Her eyes suddenly snapped to the front as she heard her name being called. Stella heaved a breath in, and made her way timidly to the front. Why am I so nervous? Stella thought. She sat on the stool; the last thing she saw was thousands of eyes staring at her, before everything went black. She jumped as she heard a voice in her head, and thought she was going crazy, until she realized that the hat was talking to her; though, this didn't calm her down much.

"A hat, my dear, will decide the way your seven years at Hogwarts will go. And the rest of your life. So you should appreciate that this isn't just any old hat. Now... to sort you. Hmmm. Well, your sense of adventure is there, it just needs to grow a bit. But you're always yourself. That's good. Godric would like that. GRYFFINDOR!"

Bradley Skeffington followed the crowd of eager first years into a grand hall, ironically called the Great Hall. Eager to be sorted and await the decision from the Sorting Hat, the first year began to wonder where the enchanted hat might place him. Out of all the four different houses within Hogwarts, Bradley figured he would least likely land into Slytherin - mainly based on what his parents told him about the types of people from that house. Then, there was both Gryffindor and Ravenclaw, two potential houses that Bradley felt would suit his needs. And then, last but not least, Hufflepuff, the house Bradley felt most in-tune with. However, the final decision was not up to him, but the Sorting Hat.

"Skeffington, Bradley!"

With his name being shouted through the hall, Bradley hoped up onto the stool and patiently awaited the Sorting Hat's decision.

"You're right. There's no doubt that you are a HUFFLEPUFF!"

Doriano walked beside his two cousins as his dark eyes scanned the Great Hall with mild interest. So this is what The infamous Hogwarts that he had been hearing all about from his cousins looked like. It was a lot bigger than he pictured it to be. Reminded him of the Office that his father used to work in before he died. Hopefully this school had a Library or something because he was going to want to check out and get to reading as many books as possible so he could stuff his brain with the fact, maybe even the History of this place. Doriano's biggest he wanted to accomplish during his time here was to get good scores on that test that the Seventh Years took to decide whether they were eligible to get the job they desired or not. He also wanted to be at the top of the class, with the best grades he could possible earn. Maybe if he felt like it he would try every single class as well. Doriano just liked to be smart and know everything, it was fun to rub it other's faces sometimes that they knew less than him. A cocky smirk rose to the Eleven Year olds face as he and all the other unsorted children stood in front of a stool where a hat was sitting. What in the world was that thing for? This was the one thing Doriano didn't have an idea on, was what the hat was for. 'I knew I should have attempted to read more about the school.' Then some of the kids muttered about the hat being the one to sort them. A hat was able to sort the students into their future houses. How...odd yet creative? All Doriano knew was that he wanted to get into a House that would help him be successful.

When his name was called Doriano smirked and straightened his brand new Robes before he strode up to the Hat. He wanted to make sure he looked good while he was being sorted. Sure he was all for being smarter than the rest, be he also wanted to appear to be the best looking guy out of the bunch. When the hat was placed on his head Doriano remained completely still as he tried to think of nothing. Could this hat read his mind or something? Wow that sounded so creepy. 'Just put me somewhere I can be successful please?' He couldn't help but think to himself. He wasn't sure how this worked but magic was kind of cool like that.

"Any of the houses can lead to success. But for you, it's one of two. Your desire to be in charge of others and have things go your way would fit you in well with Slytherin. That drive for success would help, too. But your thirst for knowledge tells me that perhaps your best hope is in RAVENCLAW!"

Its almost my turn to be sorted. So many things are running through my mind. Am I gonna be in the same house as Ed? Will I get along with the other students in my house? But honestly, the thing that is worrying me the most...is distractions. I needed to get good...no...amazing grades. Learning is like breathing for me. I can't live without it.

Oh no, theres only one person ahead of me now...

*Gulps*

Okay, I need to get my mind off of how worried I am...

I wonder if they have a copy of 'Hogwarts, A history' in the library? I would much like to--

"Kellie Watson!" That voice just shook me.

I'm slowly walking towards the seat. My palms are sweating, my heart is racing, my legs feel like jello.

Okay, now...*collapses into seat* here we go.

I can feel the sorting hat slowly moving towards my head.

I'm holding my breath...

Whats it gonna be?

"A lifelong love of learning puts you in RAVENCLAW!"

Maite entered the great hall with excitement in her eyes. She was beside her stepsister. When her name called, she felt a sudden nervous. She was hoping that the house she wanted to be in will be given to her. When the hat spoke, she was surprised and amazed. How could it talk? ,she thought.

"HUFFLEPUFF!"

Aspen walked bravely into the Great Hall amidst many other frightened eleven year olds. Looking around, he saw the older students all staring at them, and he wished Ash were here, but Ash was what these people would call a Muggle, and he couldn't come here. "Knight, Aspen!" He stepped up to the three legged stool and sat down, trying not to shake as all eyes were on him. The hat was placed on his head and he stared blindly out over the crowds of students, waiting for the hat to one of the strangely named houses as it had for all the other students.

"Your sense of right and wrong, along with your value of friends in relation to rules, shows me you're a HUFFLEPUFF!"

Romaine babbled on like an idiot to his sister as he and his future Classmates walked into the Great Hall. To be honest he was really really excited for this thing to get underway. All his other brothers and sister except for Aphrodite who was the youngest had gone though this in their lifetime and it was finally his turn to make his debut at Hogwarts. As he passed by a group of girls he winked softly before he headed passed other with his sister. His head turned every once in awhile as he tried to find where is big brother was sitting. Theodore was pretty much Romaine's idol! He wanted to be just like him one day. Maybe if he was lucky he would even get into the same house as Theodore was, that would be so cool! Even if he wasn't Romaine would make sure that he and his brother hung out more often. There was going to be no way that he was going to be ignored like he used to be. When the crowd of students stopped Romaine let his blue eyes scan the area. No one here but his sister knew about him being a Veela. That made him confident that he was going to make lots of friends and maybe even meet a lot of cute girls. Student by student, they were all called to be sorted. Even Doriano whom was he and Kendra's cousin was called up. Romaine was excited for it to be his turn. That hat looked really cool, even it was probably weird for some people to have a talking hat on their head. The older students at the tables were silent but clapped every time someone was sorted into their house. Whatever house he was sorted into, those kids better clap like they have never clapped before. He intended to leave this school with a name for himself. Maybe be as awesome as he thought his big brother was.

'Snow, Romaine' His name was called and Romaine grinned. He pushed his way past the other students and didn't hesitate to sit down and let the hat be placed on his head. He wondered how the hat was able to tell how People belonged it what house. Then again Magic rarely ever had an explanation. Romaine gave a charming smile out to those who were out waiting to be sorted themselves, he wondered if any of them would become his friends in the future. 'So...Mr Hat...do your thing!' He thought to himself as he let his mind flit through all of the things he hoped to do at Hogwarts. Could the hat see that too? With a shifty glance he tried to peer up at it. Could the hat bite someone if wanted to?

"What a surprise! Another Snow in SLYTHERIN!"

Heidi Longbottom didn't seem nervous at all. She in fact seem more calm than the rest of her first year to be. Occasionally, she would fix the hem of her school robes here and there. And pushed back her tawny flecks of hair out of her way, though she seemed more interested in the sorting ceremony, rather than look around in awed. She wanted to see what house everyone would be in, and seeing as she wouldn't be first line. She sat down, with her fingers lace together, her hazel eyes watching as each student stepped up to the stool. Just waiting till it finally happens. She couldn't wait, soon it will be turn.
And right before she turn her gaze, she heard her name instantly in perfect announcement. Some snickers when they heard her last name. Heidi would roll her eyes at them, its nothing funny about her name. Many carry this surname, she knew she didn't have much to worry about them picking on her. So with ounce of ignoring the fading snickers, she sat down with her hands in her lap. Elbows tucked in slightly while the hat fell down her tawny forelocks. Waiting to be sorted she sat, watching them stare at her, as if she had four heads. Nothing to worry about, she told herself just need to be sorted and it will be all set in stones as they say.

"No doubt here! You're a GRYFFINDOR!"

Ayame was in the great hall, her eyes down to the floor, thinking to herself. She didnt know what she was going to get when her time came. Everyone thought she was the goldern girl, both of her parents had spoken to her before she left, saying that she would get ravenclaw because of how smart she was, how confident she was and how beautiful she was. Her mother was in ravenclaw. They were expecting her to get perfect scores. Pressure much? She sighed as she started to pace around the hall, wishing she didnt have to hide her dark side. If everyone knew what she was thinking when they spoke to her... people wouldnt stand so close to her or try and talk to her all the time. She knew one day she would snap but she had hoped it would be when she was away from the people she cared about. She looked up, and saw that all the older years were having a fun time watching all the others in her year getting sorted. She spotted a cute guy in hufflepuff, and smiled to herself. Not to bad.. she thought. Then she sighed and looked down. No one would take her and she wouldnt let anyone take her anyway. No way would they with all the scars she kept hidden. "Ayame Wayland" Her head snapped up as she was being called up. She started to walk. "Its go time" she whipsered quietly to herself, ready to get sorted.

"You look out for yourself before anybody else. It's that that puts you in to SLYTHERIN!"

Iman was glad that she's at Hogwarts at last, walking with a group of newbie students going in front of the whole older students, while walking she kept looking everywhere for her brother and at last saw him and waved at him. Her brother waved at him back and smiled, the group stop in front of a tall woman with blonde hair. The woman greeted old and new students and gave instruction to the new students that if they are called, they have to sit on the tall stool and will be sorted.

Iman was getting nervous as to what house she will be in, her brother, Hamza, was in Hufflepuff and she wanted to be near her brother to be with him everyday. As the last name's goes down to her last name, her heart keeps pounding very fast and was about to get a heart attack. To ease her nervousness, Iman looked up at the staff table where her mother was sitting on one of the chairs and smiled to her, her mother smiled back and nod slightly. When Iman's last name was called, "Khalid, Iman" She took a deep breath and walked at the stool and sat silently waiting for the hat to be put above her head.

Iman looked back at her brother for support when the hat was put on her head by the headmistress, she can feel the hat that it can read its mind. I hope your not evil or anything, but my brother told me your kind. I just want to be sorted to a house that can take me in even though I have negative personality. But even though I have some negative personalities, I have more positive personalities. Iman talked to her mind rather than spoke it loud to anyone. She felt awkward talking to her mind and was not very comfortable about it.

Take your time thinking of what house to put me in, I'm not in a hurry or anything she told on her mind and was patiently waiting for the hat to speak for its decision.

"You're a GRYFFINDOR!"

Jo stood at the edge of a clump of First Years, almost trembling with nervous excitement. She had always dreamed about magic, hoped that it was possible, but never really believed in it. Instead she had come to believe that science was the closest she could come to magic. Now, with all her wildest imaginings whirling around her mind, Jo was desperately thrilled. She gazed in wonder at the enchanted ceiling, the wizards robes and pointy hats. The blonde girl was so enthralled that she almost didn't hear her name being called.

The familiar sound of her own name did swiftly jerk Jo out of her amazed state and back into panic. She walked up to the front of the hall, made anxious by so many faces all staring at her. Jo stumbled on the way to the Sorting Hat's stool, then cursing her clumsiness clambered back to her feet. The stool was hard and the hat was too big, slipping down so half of Jo's vision was black. Her thoughts were jumbled, keeping up a constant confused dialogue with herself. Then she realised the hat could hear this, and was waiting for her to finish. Jo glanced up sheepishly, and tried to clear her mind.

"You could fit in several places. I think you'll do best, though, in HUFFLEPUFF!"

Acacia stood at the front of the knot of terrified unsorted students, and looked out over the sea of students, trying to decide which House she would prefer. She thought they all looked much the same, and she decided that since red was her favourite colour, she may as well ask for that House. "Addams, Acacia." She jumped at the sound of her name, and walked confidently up the steps. The talking hat was put on her head, and she waited patiently for a decision

"Well, you're not self-serving... not very bright, either. No, that's OK. Everybody can't be bright. Well then... what are you? There we are! A sense of adventure! You'll be a splendid GRYFFINDOR!"

The day of sorting has come up and today, Nicole Crysin, is walking at the aisle of the great hall where her sister, Ally Crysin, is currently sitting in her house table. Nicole walked with the other new students that will be sorted any minute now, she knew her sister doesn't hate her because Ally had told her that its not her fault to be in this world, its his dad who has the fault. Looking for her sister, she found her at the Slytherin table with the rest of her classmate and her best friend. Nicole's sister is in a calm mood and was looking at her smiling.

She smiled back and almost hit the person in front of her as she didn't noticed the group had just stopped, a gorgeous woman in front greeted them and was giving them instructions about the sorting. Nicole really didn't know what are houses and what are there traits, she shrugged her shoulder and just wished she will be with her sister after this. The headmistress then called for A's and then B's and then C's which is her last name start with a C, "Crysin, Nicole." Called the headmistress, Nicole walked at the tall stool and sat, waiting for the hat to be put on her head.

My sister told me that this hat can read my mind, so, I'm going to start ... Umm ... I really don't know what house should I get because I'm so new about this things. I have traits that is if you have smarter houses or students who likes to read and get a high grades then that should be my house but I don't think you have that house as I'm not sure if you have those kind of house traits Nicole was talking to her mind fast like she always do. She pursed her lips once she noticed that everyone is very quite even the hat, once she was done talking to the hat, Nicole waited for it to speak what house she would get in.

"Well, you are certainly intelligent, but you don't thirst knowledge like Rowena liked. You're pretty considerate, though, and certainly kind. I think you'll fit with HUFFLEPUFF!"

Princess walked with the unsorted students in to the Great Hall. She was within the very walls where her father, mother and brother were sorted. The students then stopped in front of a woman and a stool in which what they call The Sorting Hat rested. The woman began calling the names of the students, until finally her name was called. "Nacino, Princess," the woman said, and Princess slowly walked forward and sat on the stool as the woman slowly put The Sorting Hat on her head. She sat there quietly and whispered, "Please out me in any house I belong to, but I would really appreciate it if you put me in Gryffindor, please.". And she sat there waiting for the Sorting Hat's decision.

"Gryffindor? Well you do love adventure. But your respect for the rules... it's too much for Gryffindor. It outweighs your sense of adventure. No, you can be an adventurous Hufflepuff. (They're excellent finders. ;) ) HUFFLEPUFF!"

Ralph entered the Great Hall with the rest of the students. They came upon a woman, a stool and the Sorting Hat resting on the stool. Ralph heard the names of the students being called and sorted one by one. Suddenly, "Ramos, Ralph," the woman said. Ralph slowly walked and sat on the stool. The woman then placed the Sorting Hat on his head. Ralph remained quiet, as usual, as he waited for the Sorting Hat's decision which would affect his staying in Hogwarts.

"GRYFFINDOR!"

Arriane entered the Hall with her fellow students. She was beside her brother whom was going to be sorted to. The names were called one by one by a woman. The students then sit on a stool where the Sorting Hat will be placed on their heads and they will soon be sorted. Arriane wished her name would go first before her brother and luckily, "Hagos, Arriane" called the woman. Arriane sat on the stool as she place the Hat on her head and waited for its decision.

"No doubt, Helga would take you. HUFFLEPUFF!"

Gerald entered the Great Hall which was filled with lights. They came up on a woman, a stool, and The Sorting Hat in which they say that is the one who puts student in to their rightful houses. As the woman was calling the names, Gerald was looking for his sister. Suddenly, "Is there a Lipayon, Gerald here?" the woman said aloud. And he realized that he was called three times. He ran to the stool and quickly put the Sorting Hat in to his head and whispered, "Sorry about that.". He sat there as he waited for the decision of the Sorting Hat.

"Another one for HUFFLEPUFF!"

Dante walked into the Great Hall behind the rest of the First Years, waiting for his chance to be sorted. He had been waiting for this moment for a whole year, and he couldn't wait for it to just happen anyway. The house he wanted most of all, he had already decided on. Ravenclaw. He wanted it, and he would get it. He was smart, calculating, and always did everything he was asked. He would do whatever it took to make that sorting hat up there realise that it was Ravenclaw that he belonged in. He chuckled to himself, and stood with the rest of the First Years as he waited for his name to be called.

Watching everyone else go up there, and get sorted into their house made him feel a little nervous about what was about to happen, but he was ready, and that wasn't going to change.

"Summers, Dante."

He jumped up as his name was called, and slowly edged his way towards the sorting hat, taking his seat next to it, and placing the hat on his head as he awaited the decision of where he would be spending his time for the months to come.

"You'll do splendid, and learn plenty, in RAVENCLAW!"

The Great Hall was filled with lights and unsorted students, when Romeo came in. He was running quite late, but he was just in time to hear his name, so he ran to the stool and let the woman put the Sorting Hat on his head. He whispered to the Hat, "Sorry, I'm late." and he waited for the Sorting Hat to answer.

"I think you'll do best in RAVENCLAW! It might surprise you now... but don't worry."

Avery was cursing her lack of height as soon as she walked through the doors of the Great Hall with the rest of the group. Trapped in the very middle of the group, she tried to stand on tip toes to see over the heads of the others that were coming to be sorted. Catching a glimpse of a high table with a row of teachers, she returned to flat feet, eyes shining. This was so exciting, and something that she had been waiting for for so long, well ever since she had got her letter that summer. Again trying to look around at the hall, Avery wasn't watching where she was treading and tripped, arms flailing before righting herself. It was a regular occurence for the eleven year old, so she wasn't really embarrassed as some around her giggled. She just grinned back. The group came to a stop as she gazed around, taking in the hall from a higher view. The twinkling candles and empty plates and goblets caught her eye, as shiny things always did. The faces turned towards the little group of unsorted students were all waiting expectantly, as was Avery. She wasn't in the least bit nervous for the Sorting Ceremony, like others around her seemed to be. She knew the whole event because of her family, as long as the Sorting traditions in New Zealand were the same in Britian. The pile of purchased books hadn't exactly been inviting to Avery, who had never really enjoyed reading, and she knew that if she had looked through them then she would know for sure if the Hogwarts New Zealand Ceremony involved a hat and stool.

The questions going through her mind were answered as a stool and hat were placed in front of them, and names began to get called. Having the last name Bennet had always had the advantage of being near the top of a roll. Soon, after nervous looking A's had been sorted into their houses, and Avery had been waiting patiently for her turn, "Bennet, Avery" sounded. "Excuse me. Oh- Sorry!" she muttered as she made her way as carefully as she could through the group, accidentally treading on a boy's toes. Trying her best not to trip and fall on her face like she normally would in important situations, Avery made her way up to the stool, pleased with herself for making it safely. She sat down and the hat was placed on her head, falling to cover her eyes. The first hints of nervousness began to flutter in her stomach as she waited for the hat's verdict.

"You're not normally nervous. So why are you now? Oh well, may as well get this over with for you, then. GRYFFINDOR!"

Sakura sat at the long table with the bunch of other unsorted students. "Oh my goodness, there are so many kids. I hope I don't get called up next. I wouldn' t know what to do. " Luckily the student across from her was called up. "This means that I might be next. But wait, what if they don't call me? Oh Sakura stop it!" she thought to herself. Sakura had thought about coming here to Hogwarts for a long time. She decided finally that it would be best rather than to ignore her magickal side of the family. Before knowing it, Sakura's name was called. "Natsumi, Sakura!" "Alright girl. Here were go."

Sakura got up from her seat and began to walk to the sorting hat. He could feel the eyes of every student in the Great Hall stare her down. She knew that whatever house she would be placed in would be fine with her. The fight between houses would arise soon and she'd have to deal with it. Sakura tucked a part of her hair behind her ear before she sat down on the stool. "Alright sorting hat, do your best." Sakura waiting with so much anxiety that she thought that she would come-bust.

"I never do anything less. And I hope you don't, either. Not if you're going to be in RAVENCLAW!"
