Juniper was minding her own business sitting at breakfast when she saw a first year drop their an apple on the floor. She swung her feet over the bench and picked it up, handing it back to them. "There yah go!"

Kahurangi didn't venture over to the student tables terribly often, but her presence had become briefly necessary to break up a minor food fight that was threatening to spill over. On the way back to the professors table she spotted a student helping another, quickly regaining the faith in students that the food fight had chipped away at. "That was very kind of you Ms. Zumwalt, have a point for Ravenclaw." She smiled, before heading on her way.
