Slytherin,PracticeWith the end of the quidditch season nearing, Slytherin was heading towards their last game of the year. They hadn't been doing as well as what Charlotte hoped, especially considering it was her last year on the team, and hoped to improve this for their upcoming game. The captain arrived early to the quidditch pitch so she would have some time to do some laps herself and flew around the pitch, feeling the wind blow through her hair. When it was almost time for everyone else to arrive she flew back down and waited patiently for them all with her broom in her hand and the box of equipment in front of her. As people came, she instructed them to do laps, determined to have a better practice session this time than they did before.

The Slytherin team hadn't been doing so well this year, but Odette hoped they would be ale to turn it around. When the captain called practice, Odette was glad. She arrived early and nodded when the captain told them to do laps. Without comment, she started to do just that. She really hoped she would be able to hit a bludger during this practice, she needed to get her skill level up before the next game. It would also help her feel more confident.

With the end of the school year approaching, Kimmy was trying to not think about what came after. At Hogwarts she'd grown to have familiariarity and she wasn't ready to walk out the door just yet. Although she knew she wanted to play Quidditch professionally, she still had a lot to learn, and as a result she walked down to practise feeling as though she needed to make the most of the session. She gave a small smile to those already there, before waiting for the game to begin.

He smiled at the captain and then did what he was instructed to do, flying laps around the Quidditch pitch until she would call them all together. He hadn't been able to play the last game because he wasn't feeling too well back then so knew that he had to do his best today.

Sara was ready for another semester of Quidditch and their last upcoming game, she really wanted the team to do better than what they had been this year. She smiled at Charlotte as she instructed them to warm up so she mounted her broom and kicked off the ground, doing laps until the captain called them back down for the official practice to start.

Hayden had been disappointed with how he had been playing so far that season and the team as a whole weren't doing much better. He made his way on to the pitch to join his team mates and waited for practice to begin, He knew he needed to do better and this was where it would start.

After everyone had arrived and circled around the pitch a few times, Charlotte took the whistle and put it around her neck before blowing into it, sending everyone back down onto the ground. "Okay, so you all know how this goes." she began, unlocking the box of equipment. "The game will end when I say it does. This will be a fair game." Her eyes glanced towards Asaiah before she releasing the snitch. "Sara, you guard the north hoops, Hayden you guard the south. Let's go." With that, Charlotte passed the quaffle to another one of the chasers before instructing everyone to mount their brooms, soon joining them in the air.

Asaiah landed on the ground after hearing the whistle and stood still, watching the captain while she began unlocking the box of equipment and listened carefully to what she was saying. He squinted his eyes when Charlotte looked his way after saying that this would be a fair game but decided not to comment on it, as it would only get him into trouble. Once the signal was given for them to mount their broomsticks, the sixth year kicked himself off the ground and immediately followed one of the bludgers. He stretched out his Beater's arm and swung his bat at the iron ball. It didn't hit its intended target but instead soared off towards Sara.

Odette noticed the look between Charlotte and Asaiah, but didn't say anything. If anyhthing, she was glad she wasn't the one being looked at that way. Without comment, she flew up into the air to get started. She really wanted to hit a bludger at someone today. She saw Asaiah hit one at Sara, who looked like she perhaps wasn't his intended target. But at least he had hit someone.

As soon as Charlotte was done speaking, Sara was back up in the air and she flew towards the north hoops, taking her position as she watched the chasers carefully in case someone approached her. She hadn't seen the bludger coming her way, and when it hit her shoulder Sara grimaced, checking to see where it had come from and when she spotted Asaiah she shrugged slightly, maybe he hadn't meant to hit her, if he had, oh well. It had in a way woken her up a little.

Liam entered the pitch and was ready for a good practice. He wanted to show that he was worthy again. He would want to impress Charlotte and the other girls the most. Odette had hit him the last practice and he had to say that girl was on fire. Liam would not try to hurt a girl, but the other beater the older boy that was so confident about himself was an option. Liam looked out for bludgers but didnt't saw much yet so he flew around. Asaiah hit one pretty soon so Liam sighted. He wanted too.

Odette ignored most of the other players, choosing to focus on the bludgers. Spotting one nearby, she flew at it with her bat raised and tried her best to hit it. Unfortunately, she missed it. She cursed in frustration and glared at it as it zoomed off. She would have to keep trying.

Asaiah flew around the quidditch pitch, closely watching the other Beaters so he would know when to dodge incoming bludgers. He hoped that the others would have a little more luck than him soon.

Not ready to give up after one failed attempt, Odette decided to chase after the bludger she had missed. She pushed herself to fly fast to keep up with it before attempting to hit it again. A grin appeared on her face as she was succesful in hitting it at the nearest player she could see. Only after hitting it did she bother to look at who it was. She grimaced when she realized it was Kimmyeon. The girl had been nice to her. But any of her teammates would know the bludgers weren't personal, hopefully.

Kimmy was up in the air and ready to go, this time she wasn't going to say anything if she could help it after the arguments of the last practise. As she was thrown the Quaffle, Kimmy moved towards a set of hoops, hoping to score more goals than last game. Unfortunately someone seemed to have it out for her already as she collided with a bludger and her head whipped round to see where it had come from. It shooting pain in her arm was never something she could get used to, and needing moment to shake it off she threw the Quaffle back one handed to the other chaser.

Just as Charlotte flew into the air it already seemed as though the beaters were getting into it. She watched as Sara was hit with the first bludger from Asaiah and winced as it did so. She wasn't sure if Asaiah meant that but was happy that he hit something nonetheless. Kim was also hit by another bludger from Odette and Charlotte quickly flew beside her, grabbing the quaffle as it was passed towards her.

The chasers didn't seem to have much luck, but Sara knew it was still early to judge much of what was going on. Still, she watched as another bludger went straight towards Kimmyeon, hitting the older girl as she tried to score but failed. The third year gripped her broom tightly as she noticed Charlotte now had the quaffle, preparing herself in case she chose to attempt a goal from this side.

Odette was pleased she had managed to hit a bludger, though she also did feel a little bad for Kimmyeon. She had been nice to her, so she hadn't really deserved the bludger. If it were up to her, she'd be aiming them all at Hayden, but she knew that would look incredibly unprofessional and would probably make Charlotte talk to her. Especially as keepers didn't usually make very likely targets.

Charlotte flew to Sara's side of the pitch with the quaffle under her arm. As she threw the quaffle she watched as Sara caught it and beamed slightly as a response, not sure whether she should be happy that Sara blocked it or disappointed that she didn't get it in. Nonetheless, Charlotte sent a thumbs up to the younger girl. "Good job! she exclaimed, genuinely happy for her success.

Kimmy watched on as Charlotte attempted to score, and was pleased to see that their newest Keeper seemed to have practised more since their last session. Although she didn't say anything, Kimmy moved forward in the air as she tried to ignore the pain running through her body, catching the Quaffle as it was send back out into the pitch.

Asaiah had been doing what was expected of him to do, however, he wasn't hitting the people he was sending bludgers off to. It annoyed him that he wasn't doing well but was sure that soon everything would go as planned again.

Sara beamed at Charlotte, she seemed happy with her success at blocking her goal and the Italian was becoming slowly more confident. She really wanted to play again this semester but she was doubtful she would get to play another game this year. Still, the more practice she did the better she would do at tryouts next year. She kept her eyes on the chaser who now had the quaffle, not paying anyone else much attention.

Antonio was flying through the air when he caught a glimpse of a bludger hurtling toward him. He raised his club and cracked the bludger and watched it as it made its way toward one of his teammates. He should be concerned that one of his own was about to be hit by a bludger he hit but he wasn't all that bothered. He was sure Sara would be able to shake it off.

Odette always felt like she was competing with the many alternate beaters their team had. So when Antonio managed to hid a bludger at Sara, she scowled. If they did better than her, perhaps she wouldn't be allowed to play next game. That would be horrible. Quickly, she sped after the bludger he had just hit and tried to hit it as well, not even caring who she aimed for. But she missed completely, only worsening her mood.

Asaiah had been unaware of what was happening beneath him whilst following a bludger on his own but could hear one of the iron balls being hit from where he was flying. Not daring to look over his shoulders to see who had been hit in fear of losing his own, the Beater continued to pursue the ball. Once he was sure that he was close enough to actually hit the bludger, Asaiah stretched out his right arm again and swung his bat. He smirked when it made perfect contact with the bludger and aimed it right towards the closest person, which happened to be their captain, Charlotte.
