Slytherin Quidditch Practice Y49 | S1

Sybil was hoping this would be her time, but it wasn't.

Echo swooped in to grab the quaffle, tucking it under her arm and heading back toward the hoops.

Kanako failed to hit a bludger. She was faintly annoyed.

Alana didn't hit anything.

Echo reached the hoops, and pretending the keeper was her Ravenclaw sister, she aimed her throw directly at them. She still missed though.

Ignatius too lamented that there were no alternates to take the hits. It reeked of a lack of ambition amongst the other Slytherins as well as poor management from the captains. He took a moment to catch his breath from the rapid hits in succession, his chest and arms stinging.

The lamentation didn't make the snitch appear in solidarity, unfortunately.

Ignatius willed himself to go on, knowing he'd be sore tomorrow.

Ignatius wiped his eyes, which were watering slightly.

Echo was glad she wasn't a seeker, being pelted like that. Once had been enough. Approaching the hoops she did her best to score again and grinned as she finally earned the team some more points.

Echo waited for one of the other chasers to grab the quaffle, flying close to them in case they dropped or passed it.

Ignatius didn't see the snitch, and he was annoyed about it.

Sybil clapped as Echo made a goal. She hoped some of that luck might rub off on her as she grabbed the quaffle.
