Open Sibling Rose

Alexei pushed the basket over to the Slytherin's table, he was on a roll in getting these roses out. He may start to get little huffy delivering roses, but he is determined not to let his asthma slow him down. Alexei stopped in front of the table, eyes wandering to the faces of the older students. He was on the side where the seventh generally occupied, Alexei pushed the basket so he was standing close to the middle of the table. "William, anybody named William here?" Alexei asked amongst the Slytherin students. "I have a rose for you!"

Valentines, and William was miserable. He had sent another pink rose, for all the good it had done last year, but he knew he was likely to be upstaged by Abian's other mystery suitor once again. He knew he should have had the courage to sign his card this time, but William had chickened out last minute. Maybe it was time to just... let this crush go. He needed to think about it more. There wasn't much time to think though, as he heard a kid calling his name down the table. Great. William raised his hand quickly, calling back in the hopes of getting this over and done with. "I'm William."

Alexei kicked the basket with his toes and it went sliding right next to the Slytherin teen who raised his hand. "Hey, William Kai, Kai, Kai-marama?" Alexei didn't wait for a response. He dipped his hand into the basket to pick out a yellow rose and a note. "Here you go! Happy Valentine's Day," Alexei paid very little to attention to the boy's current mood and was just glad to have successfully delivered another rose.
