"Guys, shut it!" Bonnie Fierce brought her finger to her lips to try to quell the words of her teammates. Looking over her shoulder, Bonnie surveyed the newest player, brought in from another team to replace a member they had just lost. Considering she was usually a follower of international quidditch, Bonnie did not know much about this guy, but she would soon, she always did her research. Ebony turned to her teammates, namely Jack Kaster and Parker Smith and shook her head. She did not want to embarrass this guy on his first day, they didn't know anything about him. The coach wasn't here yet to introduce him. Though, Ebony didn't understand why they would bring an alternate, they only lost one alternate, they should have brought a seeker, that would have helped them out a lot more. "Shhh, you're like a gang of gaggling girls. He can probably hear you." This was getting beyond ridiculous, Ebony wasn't even sure why she was the designated mother of the team. They all basically saw her as a man anyway, so what was the point. As she looked over her shoulder again, the raven haired woman appraised their new member, he was certainly good looking, no doubt about that, but was he fast. There were many problems that a Beater faced and that was only the half of it. "For Merlin's sake, he probably doesn't even speak english, so saying those things isn't going to do much." Why did guys have to be such guys? Was it a guy thing? Ebony believed it was and in the end she would have to forgive them, even if they had come into the habit of calling her bro or mate, it was all in good fun and she was mostly willing to over look it.
Ebony shook her head as she brushed her hair out of her eyes which had started it's escape from her bun. "No, why do I have to go over there. I am sure he is perfectly fine on his own, or, we could invite him over to us, how does that sounds? That work for you?" She asked as she went to wave the guy over only to have her hand snapped back to her side by Parker. She raised an eyebrow at her friend and frowned. "What in the world is your problem, P? We have to be nice, he's a new member." The way he was reacting, any one would think she was asking a suicide bomber to give her directions. This was what she got for being friends with immature boys that were way younger then her. Though, now that she thought about it, she was one of the oldest on that team and the only woman. Bonnie frowned. How depressing, she was going to wither and die an old maid and nobody would care, she could tell, this was her life now, this was what she had become. "Oh stop it. He's hardly going to eat you is he?" She asked gesturing to him. "Well, how should I know, you could go and ask him if you like." She pulled Parker by the arm in the direction of the foreigner. Foreigner. Is that what she was going to call him now? Oh that really is pathetic she must be getting old if she can't even think of a decent nickname. Muscles just didn't seem appropriate at this point though and she could tell that he had them, even through the uniform. He was well built she could tell. From tone alone, she was sure he would make an excellent beater, Jack was flimsy compared to Arnold over there.
