Lucas felt like the school events were a bit more of an obligation, now that he was head boy. He wasn't sure if that was accurate, but he felt like it would be seen as strange if he just didn't show up. It was a little strange not to have anyone to go with, as the last few times he had gone with Linden, but Lucas dressed up and showed up anyway, standing on the sidelines and watching the happy couples. He bitterly wondered how long it would be until all of them broke up, he doubted many would last past graduation. He had spotted Linden and had been a little surprised not to see him with Casper. But he then pointedly looked away, he didn't want to seem like he cared what Linden got up to. Lucas grabbed himself a butterbeer and took a swig.

Allison was absolutely just here for the snacks. And a bit lonely. But she wouldn't say that. Her belly had gotten huge, and she felt like a blimp, but thankfully she was the type not to give a damn what anyone thought. With a plate full of snacks, she turned, and spotted the prestigious head boy all by himself. She wandered over, half out of curiosity. "Waiting for someone?" She asked, not bothered that she was in her pajamas while he was all dressed up.

Lucas finished his bottle of butterbeer quickly and contemplated hiding the empty bottle in a nearby decoration rather than finding a spot to throw it away, but then someone joined him. He had heard Allison Beckett was pregnant but hadn't paid close attention to her this year. It wasn't like they were close. He wasn't sure what to make of her, especially dressed as she was. "No, why?" He asked. "Interesting choice of ballgown." He added with a small smile, hoping she wouldn't mind the joke.

Allison smiled at him. "I was just curious," She replied easily, laughing at his comment. "It's so comfortable," She smiled at him. "So, why's the head boy sulking on his own?" She asked, looking around. "My date graduated." She pouted, putting one hand on her belly as the baby kicked.

As part of their deal, Addison got Augustus for the Yule Ball, which meant Ryan didn't really have much of a reason to hang out here. In the past he liked to people watch, but after six years of it, the shine had worn off. Still, he felt like he could hear Nicole in his head pushing him to at least try and enjoy his last ever Yule Ball, even if the milestone didn't excite him near as much as it probably did her.

He'd been lurking around edge of the dancefloor when Allison had caught his eye and he drifted over to where she was talking to the headboy. "So will the baby inherit your hairy feet?" He asked her with a raised eyebrow, a throwback to an old conversation he'd had with her back when he'd suspected Allison might be a werewolf. Ryan was still certain there might be one residing at the school, but he was reasonably confident it wasn't Allison. Probably. Maybe. He squinted at her.
