Taylor stepped onto the pitch, her long blonde hair tied in 2 plaits, that lay against either one of her shoulders, her new Nimbus 2001 clutched in her hands. She was ready to play a game with it. She had been practising her skills over the holidays with her Dad and she loved every second in the sky. Wearing a simple pair of jeans and a grey and black sweater she was ready to take on her friends. Looking into the sky it was a clear day, with only a slight breeze, great for flying. She had discussed this event with Sam and she hoped he had been able to contact all the people involved.

She promtly took a seat in the middle of the pitch and waited for her friends to arrive, looking a bit random sitting by herself in the center of the expanse of green, but she was glad no one had decided to use the pitch today, that meant they had it all to themselves. She had been thrilled to know she was let out of Hospital in time to attend this game. The unfortunate hex in the forest had been a bit of a scare, but Taylor had been released and the nurse had said she was in top condition free to do whatever she liked. After not being able to move around much for the two days she was in there, flying would be the perfect way to celebrate her freedom again.

Sam had been practicing since he left the empty classroom with Taylor. He was so excited about this game it was like it was never going to come. But Saturday morning eventually came and Sam woke bright and early. He threw on a pair of shorts and two t-shirts. He wanted something comfy, Sam rarely wore anything but jeans but today he wanted to be as free as possible.

He took his emerald streak from beside his bed and the box of balls and walked quickly down to the grounds- to the pitch. Once he arrived at the familiar setting Sam saw Taylor. "All ready for today?!" He called over to her chirply, this really helped take Jenn off his mind and the black rings beneath his eyes had begun to clear. He placed the heavy crate of quidditch balls onto the grass then sat down beside her.

Taylor let out a yawn, closing her eyes unconciously when she did so. Opening them again, she saw Sam walking towards her. He yelled out to her and Taylor sent a grin his way. "You bet I am." She said. Taylor couldnt wait to get in the air, free from confinds or pain. She really hoped she wouldnt hurt herself today, she hoped the nurse hadnt been lying when she said Taylor was free to do whatever she wished. "You been practising at all?" She asked with a raised eyebrow, wondering if he had got any in. Taylor had wanted to go out and practise, but she made the mistake to go into the forest in the first place, so now she had to suffer the consequences.

Aeon looked out over the Quidditch Pitch from his dorm window, He was excited about today since he had been invited to go play a game of quidditch with Taylor and her friends, It wasn't often he got to do things with them. Aeon quickly threw on a black T-Shirt and some jeans, Then picked up his Firebolt and headed down to the pitch.

When Aeon arrived, He saw Taylor and Sam already there. "Hey guys!" He said cheerfully and he approached them and sat down, laying his broom next to him.
"So, What have you been up to?" He asked them, The only time he really got to see them were in classes, Though he was seeing more of Taylor now.

"Practice? Me?" Sam raised an eyebrow, "Now what in the world would I need to practice for?" He tried to keep a straight face but never could so it only lasted a couple of seconds before he started to laugh. Sam had been practincing hard he did not want to be beaten today. Sam got extremely competitive while on playing Quidditch.

Next to join them was Aeon. "Hey." He said to him in a friendly way. He hadn't spoken to Aeon since the paint-balloon incident. "Nothing really, this semester is pretty boring so far." Sam shrugged, there was a lot more drama last term so it was nice to be doing nothing for a change.

Toni had been out at the pitch practicing ever since Sam had hinted that they were going to play match with their whole 'group'. Of coarse this practice was kept on the down low for the simple reason that Toni claimed to be nothing but great at Quidditch.

Finally the day had come and Toni found herself to be at least ready. Grabbing one of her roommate's broom, that she of coarse had permission to borrow. yet she still had not managed to get her own broom. The time just hadn't seemed to come yet. Hopefully soon she would be able to.

Walking out towards the pitch, Toni had her hair up in a french braid. One of the few times she was wearing a pair of jeans and a short sleeved white shirt. Along with that she had the necklace that Beau had given her for her birthday along with the bracelet that he had gotten her as well.

Carrying the broom under her arm, Toni noticed Sam, Taylor and Aeon out on the pitch. Putting a smile on her face, Toni walked over to them hoping that everyone was in a good mood. "Hey Guys" She said realizing it had been awhile since Toni had really hung out with the whole group.

Sam turned his head around when he saw Toni. "Hey!" He said happily. He had noticed in himself he had been a lot happier since he last saw Toni in the Owlery. Things were starting to pick up a bit. He patted the grass beside him indicating for her to join them. "I hope your in your top Quidditch form. This game is going to be a close one." Sam said, he had seen Hoshi and Knight play before and they were brilliant, he wondered how good Aeon and Taylor were.

A small worry in the back of his mind was how would Hoshi and Toni get along? Was it a mistake inviting the two of them? With that thought Sam shook it off, they were both of his best mates and Taylors and Scorpius' they would just have to suck it up and deal with it- without hassle Sam hoped.

Toni was almost relieved that Sam was in a good mood today. Even though she was more than thrilled with the disappearance of Jenna, Toni hid it the best that she could. It had bothered Sam and for that reason she said nothing of the sort. Maybe as the days, maybe even after this year, she would be able to say something without it effecting Sam in the least. Though today was not the day to test that theory.

"Of coarse I am" Toni said looking down at the grassy area that Sam was indicating wondering if for a moment she would get grass stains from sitting on it. Realizing that she was playing a game of quidditch, staying in perfect condition was not going to be too easy today. Shrugging slightly she sat down next to Sam crossing her legs indian style. "And I hope it's a close game. They are always more interesting" Toni said knowing that close games were always so much more fun as long as in the end her side came up on top, but Toni was not going to be too competative, well not over competative.

"I hope you all got enough practice in" She added smiling hoping that she had actually practiced enough to stay in the game with everyone. Besides Sam and Knight Toni had never really saw any one else fly about the pitch.

Hoshi walked out onto the pitch with her hair a brighter orange then ever. She was back and now that the whole 'Killer' thing was over people where a lot nicer to her. Hoshi was wery of them but was still perfictly nice to them. "Oheyo Everyone!" She said in her brightet voice. She was wareing black shorts in stud print and a black tank. Her trainers where Vans with little white skulls all around a black background. Her firebolt was on her shoulder.

She was happy that almost everyone there was her friend. Of course there was Toni who she didn't think much about to really hate but she did dislike her a little bit. For a moment Hoshi hoped they where on diffrent teams so that Hoshi could send as many miss shots her way as possible. The thought made her grin but she was perfictly friendly as she took a seat next to Aeon. "Are we waiting for anyone else?" She asked with a bright smile.

"Oh I don't need any practice thank you very much." he said to Toni in a know-it-all sort of way. Then he saw a bright flame with a body come towards to them. It was Hoshi. But the old Hoshi was back. He waved to her smiling, "Of coarse we are. Knight is always last to come." He grinned to her as she sat down. It was the truth Scorpius could never keep track of time.

Aeon smiled as Toni came over and sat with them, followed by Hoshi. "Hey guys, I haven't seen you in ages." He said with a grin. The last time he saw them was at Taylors party if he remembered correctly. "Oh and, Nice hair Hoshi." Aeon added, his grin widening. Every time he saw her she had a different hair colour, Though that orange was really bright.

Hoshi ran her hair thought it and smiled wide. "Yeah well the black just wasn't working for me you know. I ware black and to have black hair it would look as if someone actually died. Anyway wouldn't we need one more to make it a fair match?" She asked looking around. With Knight it would make five. Six would be the ideal number for a three on three match. Of course she would try and own with her team but still.

Aeon thought for a moment about every that was playing. "Well we have me, Taylor, Sam, Toni and you. And Knight will be here soon so that's six. So yeah, It's a fair match." He said, Then looked over the pitch to see if Knight was coming yet.
"That's if Knight ever gets here." He added with a smile.

Taylor laughed at Sam. "Oh of course Im terribly sorry, I havnt actually seen you play so I cant know how good you are." She said with a smirk and a playful nudge of her elbow into his ribs.

Taylor was talking to Sam when she heard another familiar voice, looking up she saw Aeon. He asked what they had been up to and she smiled cheerfully. "Oh nothing, little bit of hospital, but nothing much." She shrugged.

Next to join them was Toni and Taylor have her a smile. "Hey Toni." She said with a light wave of her hand. Taylor nodded when Sam said it was going to be close and she agreed when Toni said she hoped it was, they were always more interesting. Taylor wondered how everyone else flew, a thought that must be on alot of their minds and also how they were going to organise teams.

Toni stated she hoped they got enough practise in and Taylor shugged. "I couldnt really." She said indifferently, "Lets hope I beat you guys all the same." She said in a joking manner.

Another firey head joined them next and Taylor was pleased to see Hoshi again, she wondered how she was doing after she had taken her to the hospital wing and she was glad to see that her hair was colourful as ever. Hopefully that meant things were looking up for her. "Hoshi!" She waved, her smile bright. All they needed now was Knight, but of course he was late, Taylor grinned at the thought.

As usual Scorpius was the last to show up when he was needed somewhere. He had his Sienna Storm in his hand and was halfway through the common room, silently cursing the fact that the Ravenclaw tower was so high up, when he had a brilliant idea. He ran back to his room and opened up the window that faced the Pitch. Luckily the window was large enough for him to kneel on, so he mounted his broom while he knees rested on the window sill and he kicked off, or tried to. He didn't get off to a great start, in fact his broom had began to dive downward but after a few seconds he had steered his broom back upward and flew fast towards the group of people he could see hudled together.

Once he was close enough, he dived down and let his feet touch the ground as he skidded to a halt. He got off his broom and went running to them as he said, "Sorry I'm late. Again!" He grinned as if to make them forgive him and laughed a little, honestly they should've gotten him a watch for Christmas or something.

A little after Hoshi arrived Taylor saw someone on a broom coming towards them. A little annoyed someone else was going to come use the pitch she sighed, but as the figure got closer she noticed Knight and laughed a little. "Of course your late." She said pleasently, before standing up. Everyone was here now and she wanted to waste no time in getting in the air. "So everyones here, how are we going to organise teams." She said clapping her hands together and raising her eyebrows.

Sam saw someone coming towards them in the distance. "Well its not like you're Mr. Always-on-time, now. Is it?" Sam said to him loudly as he made his way over to join them. Like Taylor Sam stood up, "We've learned your not the best timekeeper in the world." Sam clapped him on the back laughing. Sam had already a small idea of how they'd sort out times. "Well I was thinking, one chaser, one keeper and either one seeker or one beater. If we use beater instead of seeker we can have a certain points limit instead of catching the snitch." Sam suggested. "And to actually put us into teams...well we could have two captains pick or it can be a random draw." He added to his suggestion.

Taylor laughed at Sam's comment to Knight. Then nodded when Sam explained how things should be worked out. "Yeah it is more fair instead of having a snitch." She said reasonably, they were after all only first years and it would be better to have a more fair game that involved them all equally than have one person looking for a snitch instead. It would also be more fun that way. "Well Im fine either way." She shrugged. She would have preferred the random draw, because that way no one was singled out or picked last etc. But then with random draw, Hoshi and Toni might be on the same team and that could end in catastrophe.

Sam nodded, "Okay. Snitch is out. What should the limit be 100 points or...150..?" He trailed off waiting for any suggestions. Sam thought about it the both ideas had pros and cons to it. If they picked teams- There would be no fight between Toni and Hoshi but then there was the last person to be picked and that'd be hurtful- well he'd find hurtful. Or if they choose a random draw it was equal all round but Hoshi and Toni could end up together. But what are the chances of that? "How about a random draw?" He asked finally.

Toni smiled as the group talked for just a short while until Knight actually showed up. "Hey" Toni said smiling in his direction seeing his broom in hand. Was she the only one that hadn't bought a broom of her own yet? Probably which was why she kept secret that she was borrowing her room mates broom.

As Taylor and Sam basically discussed how this was going to work, Toni listened not really throwing any suggestions out there. Really she didn't care how this worked out as long as it did. That meant that she really just wanted to have a great match as well as that she wasn't going to end up on Hoshi's team. As well as making out of this game alive if Hoshi was to play beater.

"What about 150 point limit. And a random draw will work fine" Toni finally spoke up thinking that she might as well be part of the conversation.

Aeon looked up at the sky and saw a figure flying towards the pitch. Who was that? He wondered, Then realized it was Knight as he came closer and landed on the ground. "Hello Knight." He said with a grin, He should really get himself more organized. Sam was talking with Taylor and Toni about the game and Aeon looked over at them. "Yeah, I agree, Random draw seems like the fairest way and the more points the better." He said with a smile, He couldn't wait till he could get up in the air again, and playing Quidditch with his friends was even better.

"Alright so random draw and 150 points, with a chaser, beater and keeper on each team." Taylor thought about it, but realistically, the beater wouldnt be doing alot and the chaser's would be playing the entire game one on one. "Maybe we should just have two chasers and a keeper?" She offered. "The one chaser would be doing everything by themselves." This was taking longer than she thought it would to sort out, she was getting impatient to get in the air, but she supposed this mass neccessary to settle before anything happened.

Scorpius laughed at Sam's comment about him not being on time. "You're just now figuring that out?" he said in jest before shoving him slightly. He went over to Taylor and gave her a hug, a little too long for it to be just friendly, and said, "Glad to see you're healthy again," with a wide grin. Once he released her he turned to the others and returned the greetings he got. "Hey Toni, Aeon, and Hoshi." He was glad the orange in her hair was back, it made him feel like things were finally starting to look up after their rather gloomy beginning at the second semester.

Taylor and Sam got into the Quidditch discussion straight away and Scorpius chuckled. It seemed the two of them had things semi-planned already. Once they had he basics down and Taylor suggested it be two chasers and a keeper, Scorpius decided to speak up. "I think that's a good idea," he agreed, "but if we really wanted Beaters, one of the chasers could double as a beater as well, it shouldn't be too hard right?" he asked aloud.

Sam took in their suggestions. "Yeah that sounds good. So one regular chaser and chaser/beater." Sam said clarifying it. All the had to do was appoint positions and split into teams. "So how about we split us into teams first, give out positions then actually play." he laughed.

Taylor eagerly hugged Knight back, throwing out all the thinking she had done over the past days leading up to this game. She had told herself she was going to ignore everything and just hang out with her friends, but the moment he had stepped onto the pitch all that changed. She noticed she was the only one he had hugged, a little confused she shrugged it aside, her jelous side loving the circumstances.

Taylor nodded at Sam and then pulled a bit of parchment out of her back pocket, she tore it into six little peices and then stopped holding the torn parchment. "Uhh, I dont have a quill, or something to put these in." She said a little foolishly. "Do you guys want to do it this way?" She asked unsure, doubting anyone would have brought a quill with them to the quidditch pitch.
