Kate smiled as another 2nd year joined them. She knew from the sign up lists that she was a Slytherin although Kate had not seen her in History of Magic which they had with the Slytherins. Maybe she sits at the back, doesn't go or just can't go. She thought to herself as she pushed the thought away. She looked at the crowd and at Hoshi and wondered when they would be starting.

((By the time we actually get into this game the Yule Ball will be over! =-/ ))
 
James rolled his eyes at Kate. "Hardly." he said with a grin. "I'm only here becaus Natasha forced me to, by the way." he said with a smirk. He looked at the new girl, and thought he had seen her around a few times. "Hey." he said, smiling crookedly.

(Most likely it will be over :frantics: )
