Libby looked at the broom in her hand. She hadn't ridden for a while, and she didn't know if she should. She walked onto the pitch. She had planned to pratice anyway, as the new year always held a new try-out session, where she might be able to get on the team, something she'd dreamed about since she was very small.
Mounting her broom, she kicked off, hovering slightly before looking up into the sky and taking off properly. She felt the wind run through her hair, and dispite the risk she would have if she fell off, she enjoyed the sensation. She had played a few matches last year in Durmstrang, although she hadn't taken part in a Hufflepuff game since she was twelve.

Madlynsauntered across the great lawn, her destination this morning had been the forest to see how her plants were growing, instead she wield her direction elsewhere. Where she happened to end up near the qudditch pitch hoops. The long metal bar touching her arm felt cold against her skin. Metal always felt this way, despite the weather, metal will always be cold. Just like Madlyn will always be taller than most her age, she felt quite similiar to the metal she was touching. It prickle her skin, considering the fact she was just wearing a beige top with sweats. A weird combination she happen to mix up. nevertheless she felt comfortable leaning against the bars. Its just as close she will be getting near them. Flying forbidden for those who weren't stable enough to carry their own weight.

She sighed. She hated that rule, she hated being outcast. She didn't see the difference between a skateboard and broom. It practically felt the same way, no though. She sighed, she shrugged. She mumbled a few words, before she heard this distant of swish fly passed her. A girl she hadn't formally met before flew over her without a care if anyone was watching. Madlyn kept an eye on her, she flew wonderful, something she wished she could do. She watched to bear flowing the girl slightly towards the middle of the pitch, a smile curve between her lips. If she had that chance to live, it wouldn't have many any difference. From the looks of it, flying seem addictive. "NICE BROOM!"

Libby glanced down to the ground to see a student looking straight back up at her. She slowly glided down, landing softly next to her. When taking another look at the girl she realized how tall she was. Was she a transfer? "Hi. Thanks" she lent her broom against the wall, taking a few steps towards the girl. "I'm Libby. Sixth Year Hufflepuff" she smiled. She hadn't seen her round the school before, so assumed she was new whether she was a first year or not. "Who are you?" she asked, wondering if she was old enough to fly her own broom.
