[Interests/hobbies] During her Hogwarts schoolling years, Libby would spend a lot of time with her friends. As her mother taught her to fly, she also joined the Hufflepuff Quidditch team as a chaser. During her time in France where she lives to raise her three children with her ex-husband Alex, Libby became more interested in reading and studing. She had been an average student, but became more recluse while overseas. When she turned 30 she returned to New Zealand, and began writing a book - The topic of which was incredibly hard for her to choose. She wanted it to feature magical elements while being suitable for muggles. She eventually chose a fictional children's book, that heavily centered magical topics such as Ancient Runes and their meanings.
[What you might like to do after Hogwarts] Since her third year at Hogwarts, Libby has wanted to be a Professor.
[Someone you look up to] Growing up she looked to her friend Larissa Sedgwick. However her Slytherin classmates became increasingly violent and eventually turned to the Scitorari, her attention turn to her ex-husband Alex. Since the divorce, Libby has become more confident in herself, and instead hopes to be someone her children can look up to.

Childhood
Liberty Barnett found out she could posses additional powers when she was four years old. Her mother was a professional Quidditch player, and so it was no secret in their family that the children could have magical abilities. At four, Libby accidently spilt a pan of boiling sauce over herself, however when her mother found her it was described that Libby had managed to "freeze" the liquid before it touched her. Since then her mother tried to convince her to fly, and she spent many evening's on her broom in the back garden.
When Libby was three, she was introduced to her brother Cedric, although the pair were not particularly close growing up, something Libby still regrets to this day.

Joining School
When Libby was nine, she was introduced to Larissa Sedgwick, who would later on become one of her closer friends as well as enemies. She hoped to follow her mother footsteps when she joined Hogwarts aged eleven, however she was placed into Hufflepuff rather than Slytherin, much to Larissa's amusement. When Libby was twelve, her mother had split from Libby and Cedric's father due to the fact he could no longer cope with being part of somthing dark (As her mother had begun taking the evil road and applying to become a death eater, that later one was the cause for the family to go into hiding) and she re-married Libby's step-father, and Libby and Cedric had another sister, Natalie, whom is part-veela.

Youth
When Libby was fifteen she had been repeatedly pulled out of school due to family issues, and lost many of her school friends. At sixteen, there was another when she found out she had an older brother, Tobias Barnett, who coincidentally was one of the best friends of Libby's future husband Alex Corvus. By the time Libby was 17, she had had her first child and had moved to France, to make sure their child had the live it deserved. At 18 she fell pregnant with their twin daughters. Ferrah and Belladonna were born on the 26th August, and they continued to live and bring their children up in France.

Young Adulthood
Libby and Alex raised their children in France, while running the pub "Le Trois Dragons". While Libby enjoyed the experience, the relationship she had with her husband was tense, and she realised they were no longer compatible. When she was 30, she took Keanu, Belladonna and Ferrah back to New Zealand, to start a new fresh life where she considered home.
She has spent the last few years writing, but is keen to return to Hogwarts to do something useful with her time now her children are away.

After Hogwarts
Libby was living in France after her education came to a close. She and Alex decided it would be best to bring up their family living as muggles, and so began a new business running a pub, "Le Trois Dragons". When Libby was eighteen years old, the couple concieved again and they had twin daughters, Ferrah and Belladonna. Libby spent her twenties raising the children, and helping Alex run the pub. As the years went on, she found it increasingly difficult to live as a muggle, given that she'd been brought up from a young age knowing she was a witch. It was unclear whether her children would posses the same powers.

When Libby was 30 years old, she decided she could not stand around any longer. She was no longer in love with Alex, and their relationship had become stagnant. She and the children moved back to New Zealand, where she was able to introduce them properly to magic. At eight years old, each child had shown that they were magical, and Libby wanted them to attend Hogwarts.

Now a single parent, Libby wanted to do something for herself, and began to take up writing after her father Mark, had once done. The topic of which was incredibly hard for her to choose. She wanted it to feature magical elements while being suitable for muggles. She eventually chose a fictional children's book, that heavily centered magical topics such as Ancient Runes and their meanings.

It was during this time that Libby met her future husband Eryk Kaelen. They shared a passion for teaching and writing, and began to spend most of their time together. They were married in the Spring of 2041. Unfortunately Liberty's children were not pleased about the arrangement, and their mother wanted to keep it a secret from Alex for the time being. They transferred soon after the marriage to Hogwarts Scotland, where they were able to visit their father more frequently.

In 2042, Libby applied for a position at Hogwarts, and gratefully accepted the position of History of Magic Professor. Although Libby and Eryk were not able to see each other very often, they often kept in communication via owl and as a result, Libby only stayed in the position for a year, despite making some good friends and becoming reacquainted with her old school friends who now taught at the school. The couple adoped Aodhan Kaelen, and by 2043, Libby moved to teach Astronomy at Ilvernormy as it gave her better connections to her family. It wasn't until the birth of Kenna in 2046 that her relationship with Ferrah and Belladonna improved, and they got back into contact with her. Although Keanu is still hesitant to speak to her, he is more open to discussions during family events.

Libby gave birth to twins when she was nineteen, and Ferrah is slightly older. When she began at Hogwarts she was sorted into Ravenclaw. She's a bubbly fun girl, who out of the siblings most resembles her mother. Ferrah enjoys creating things, and her favourite lesson is Potions.

Libby's youngest child is most unlike the rest of the family. Belladonna is quiet and sly, and it was no surprised she made Slytherin at Hogwarts. She often keeps her thoughts private, and will often look out for herself over others.

The twins main language is French, as that is where they spent their childhood. While they may know English phrases, they are still learning.
