Balancing an egg on the mouth of his kettle, the poltergeist floated about the school with a face of severe concentration. He had several other eggs being juggled in his other hand, but his orange eyes remained on the wiggling egg as he passed through open windows and outside into the courtyard. The non-being hadn't really ventured out to the courtyard much, finding it a little boring. He tried to upset a game of gobstones, but he almost fell asleep whilst watching it.

The hour hand finally moved and a ringing ran out from the tower, and with a loud shriek, the egg from the kettle tipped over and fell splat right onto some student's head. He grinned wildly, his initial surprise disappearing as an idea revealed itself and, reorganising the other eggs, the poltergeist began throwing them at the unsuspecting students within the courtyard.

The courtyard was such a serene place despite the amount of people that passed through it. It was perfect for a bit of peace in between classes. Which was exactly the reason as to why Maddie was sitting there. Classes were proving to be intense already and it was only the first week! Suddenly the bell rang and Maddie realised just how long she had been sitting in the Courtyard, she was going to be late for her next class! She quickly stood up and was about to grab her things when something hard hit her head and splattered all over her. "Ahhhhh!" she screamed, her eyes filling with tears. This was terrible! She went from being upset to being incredibly angry. "Who did that?"" she demanded. Whoever did this would pay.

Then out of nowhere more eggs came flying through the air, Maddie ducked and tried to avoid being hit with any more of them, the smell was unbearable.

The time had gone by and it was already her free period. Teagan thought to have a game of gobstone by herself or ask someone to play with her. Shutting her book and shoving the last chips on her mouth, she walked out of the great hall and out to the courtyard. The weather was nice and there are still some students out playing or simply just making out. Teagan's face wrinkled at the sudden picture, her mother won't allow her to have a boyfriend for now but when the right one comes, she'll grab the opportunity.

The young lass was about to walk at the gobstone court when she heard someone screaming. Teagan looked around and saw a girl, egg on her head and some on her robe. She started laughing at the girl, if it was her; egg on her hair and robes, she would be very mad at the culprit but it wasn't her. Teagan laughed horribly loud and all of a sudden, eggs were thrown out, getting her salon made hair and her new robes. Shock overcome her as she felt her egg washed hair. It was sticky and would have take an hour for a professional stylist to bare with it.

Teagan started to scream and scream until she stopped and looked up at the poltergeist with a kettle. "You! ... You're gonna pay for this!" She shouted. If she could just remember a jinx or even do the killing curse, Teagan would have killed the poltergeist again.

The young Ravenclaw's reaction was the most beautiful thing the poltergeist had ever witnessed, and her screams (and the following words) were soon drowned out by his own loud, hysterical laughter. His second target, the Gryffindor, wasn't as interesting to him as this new one, because she was just ducking and running No screams, no tears, nothing. The poltergeist homed in on the Ravenclaw, focusing the majority of his attention on her as the Gryffindor was not as interesting, and grinned unapologetically at her.

"I'm going to pay?"
he replied, turning upside-down. "I don't think so, Egg-girl! But you look very thirsty - how about some tea?" He floated up and tilted the kettle above her, to allow the cool tea to fall.

Maddie glared at the girl who dared to laugh at her when she was being pelted with eggs, if she wasn't afraid of getting hit with any more of them she would go and confront the girl but the desire to stay as clean as she could outweighed her desire to address the girl. Luckily, the apparition had given up on Mads and decided to go after the Ravenclaw girl who was laughing at her. Surprisingly, the poltergeist had changed his tactics and it was Maddie's turn to laugh at the Ravenclaw's misfortune. Now she could see the funny side of the situation, especially since the Ravenclaw girl was making such a scene about being pelted with eggs and being covered in tea.
