Seventh Years: Lesson Six

If anyone deserved to be stressed right now, it was probably his NEWT students. Angel hadn’t really put much stock in his final exams when he was in school, but thankfully it seemed most of his class were a bit more responsible than he’d been. He hoped they’d appreciate the time today to study or relax as needed, he knew he was certainly enjoying the break from lessons and grading himself.

Hey guys, free hour today, just do what you need to do. Study, go to the library, nap, cry a little, no judgement,” he said when his seventh years started filing in. After spending time with two young kids, he was starting to suspect a good cry and a nap could solve a lot of problems. “Feel free to enjoy some fresh air outside while you can as well,” Angel added blandly, squinting out at what he could see of the lawn through the greenhouse windows before deciding he was going to relax inside today and let the seventh years get on with it.

Post attendance. All lessons will be open until exams end.

It was the last lesson of the term, and that meant that they would either study or have a light lesson. Cassius Styx looked forward to heading home so that he could chill and look for a place. He was picky. Cass could not wait to gain independence after all. He needed more than just money from his family. Cass walked in the Herbology greenhouse likely for the last time unless their NEWT took place in it. Cass listened to Professor Castillo tell them that they had a free hour. Cass got up and decided to head out to his dorm to study all things Herbology. He would not fail this - he knew it for a fact.

It was the last lesson before exams and even though Elio was trying to be positive, he was really dreading the exams. He didn’t feel like he’d done enough to get the grades he wanted, and it was almost eating at him to think about it. He barely managed to suppress a yawn as Professor Castillo told they they had a free period, essentially, and he wasn’t entirely happy about that. His idea of using the time “wisely” was by doing absolutely no studying, which honestly was probably the opposite of what he should have been doing, but he still needed to submit his Hogwarts Monthly article and he hadn’t even started it yet.

Savannah walked into the herbology greenhouse and took her usual spot in the class. It wasn’t much of a surprise what they were to do. And she just opened her books and used the hour as efficiently as she could. Making sure that she felt confident about what they had covered within this last semester of the class. Eventually the lesson was wrapped up and she headed out of the class.
