Seventh Years, Lesson Six

"Good Morning, Seventh years!" Misha called, waving his wand at the door so that it shut quietly. "I hope you have all thought about your happiest memory and brought it with you to class today. It was be essential for what we are about to do." With that being said, he briefly looked at each student in turn, hoping they realized how important it was.

"If you remember to last week, we discussed the Patronus Charm, and I even demonstrated mine. So today, with your happiest thought, you will be attempting it yourself. Each one of you will no doubt have a different patronus, so it will be interesting to see what form they take."Misha walked around to the front of his desk, wand still in hand.

"Before you all start, I'd like to go over the incantation again. Everybody, say it with my, I want no mistakes with this charm. Say, 'Expecto Patronum'. One more time, 'Expecto Patronum'. Very good, I think everyone's saying it correctly." He said pleasantly, before stating the charm himself and once again conjuring up his patronus, exactly like last lesson. "You won't all get it the first time, but keep trying, and make sure you focus on your happy memory. I expect no less than a silvery coloured wisp. Wands out, and off you go!"

- RP the Lesson, attendance is fine

Emmanuel couldn’t quite believe that this was his final week of Hogwarts classes, he still had so much learning to do. He had so much work he needed to get to. He was looking forward to getting more and more specific on the eduction he wanted. He knew it would take time, but the time would pass as quickly as the last seven years at the school. He grabbed the last few things he needed, and headed to the last classes he had at this school.

Emmanuel walked into the charms classroom and took his usual spot in the room. He glanced towards the professor but knew that they would get to do the patronus. He looked towards the professor as the man got started, but it was a simple lecture reminding them of how this was to be done, before it was handed over to them. Emmanuel grabbed his wand and then pointed it forward. He thought about all the good things in his life, all of the things which made him happy. He took a deep breath and then cast, ”Expecto Patronum,” he had to cast it several times, altering a little what he was thinking about until he was able to get whisps of silver. Then it got stronger as he focused, but the lesson was wrapped up shortly after. He packed up his things and left the room.

Talk about saving the best for last! Todd was very excited to learn the Patronus Charm in his final Charms class. With a collection of happy memories ready to go, he raised his wand and spoke, “Expecto Patronum.” At first, only wisps appeared, drifting away faintly. But then he thought of Penelope and the incredible night they’d shared at the Valentine’s dance and how it had been one of the best evenings of his life. “Expecto Patronum!” he cast again, and this time a silvery whippet burst forth from his wand, barking and running in circles in front of Todd. As it eventually faded,l back to nothing, Todd was left feeling both extremely happy and totally drained at the same time. He packed away his things, picked up his bag and thanked Professor Haden before leaving the Charms class for the very last time before exams and graduation.
