Closed Settling Back In

Kiara now had a bit more time than she did in the previous year because she stepped back as a co-leader of Conglomerated Arts Club even if she loved being in the lead of it. However, now she knew what she wanted, she had enrolled in really serious courses that if she passed the required exams, she could enroll in any medical university with a full scholarship and don't use her savings. And if she wanted to pass the exams in the courses and then get-in exams in University, it meant that she had to nerd through the school year, even if it meant that she had to step back from something she loved. She calmed herself that Casper needed to be in the lead alone anyway, he was managing amazingly and it would make him feel way more confident about him, right? Everything Kiara did was for the better, she didn't mess anything up. She was doing to achieve what she wanted, parents would be proud.

However, before she got the chance to start learning, she found out that her really good friend had become a Head Girl and Kiara knew that there was no way that she would skip such a perfect chance to hang out with Chloe and congratulate her. Kiara had prepared for this moment, she bought butterbeer, a lot of snacks, sweets, made a huge poster with congratulations, and even a little extra present for Chloe and called the other girl over. And while waiting, Kiara tried to set up the radio so they could also have music in the background.

Chloë knew this upcoming year would be a busy one for her and changing from prefect to head girl was just adding to that. It wasn't something that she minded though, more than happy to wear the badge on her chest and accept the responsibility that came with it. In addition to that there was NEWTs, quidditch, Heta and just simply hanging out with her friends. It was a lot, but she just would to have to work a little harder to manage her time and keep up with it all. Plus, it helped keep her mind on the fact that she already had to miss some of her friends this year. That she would be graduating at the end of it. That a lot of the things she did this year at the school would be the last time she did that.

Luckily for her, Chloë still had some wonderful friends walking around the school and she had happily accepted Kiara's invitation to hang out. The abandoned classroom wasn't exactly the first place she would've picked to hang out with her friend, but at the same time she was glad to have a place that was nice and quiet in comparison to the rest of the school. "Hey!" Chloë grinned when she entered the room, quickly making her way over to give her friend a hug. It wasn't untill she had let Kiara go again that she noticed the poster on display, placing her hand over her heart as she looked at the other girl. "No you didn't, that's so sweet! Thank you."

Kiara jumped up from her beanie bag, which she now always brought with her to school since she and Jordie spoke about it a few years ago, once she heard a new noise that wasn't coming from her radio. "CHLOE! Miss Head Girl, you're slaying," Kiara just gestured that she absolutely supported Chloe before leaning in to hug her back. She had totally missed her friend. And when she saw Chloe's reaction to her surprise, she started to giggle. "Oh, I absolutely did! I'm so happy that you like it!" Kiara felt even more excited to hang out with her friend. "Chloeeee, that's for you! I'm so proud of you for making it as a head girl!" she gave the Gryffindor a little gift box with a little gold necklace in it that also had a letter C on it, it was bought, of course, tho, Kiara really liked the necklace and decided that she was obligated to give it to Chloe as she was doing an amazing job as Kiara's friend, as a prefect and as a head girl.

Chloë laughed when Kiara greeted her, distracted for a moment by the the fact that her friend had actually brought a bean bag to the room with her. She quickly forgot about that when her friend hugged her back though, surprised when her friend handed her a small gift box. Being head girl had been a lovely surprise and while she had hoped her friends would be supportive she hadn't ever thought someone would go through all of the trouble of buying her a present to celebrate. Or even make a poster. "Wow, I- Thank you." She responded with a huge grin before carefully opening the present. "It's so pretty! You really didn't have to do that." Chloë added in a soft voice, genuinely thankful she had managed to become friends with the girl over the past two years. "So how was your break? Did you hang out with Arthur a lot?" She asked as she sat down, taking a second to wiggle her eyebrows at Kiara.
