See You Again

[Kira Cardosi]

Kira Raven was both excited and nervous. She'd never really participated in formal education and so she didn't know what to expect from a school. She'd told herself she would continue to be homeschooled, but she missed Lorenzo when he wasn't with her and so she thought this would be the best opportunity to see him. Not to mention that Carlotta would be graduation soon and so she would probably stick around the house. Emily was bad enough, she was nice and all, but she was so weird and she spent so much time in her room, she wasn't totally sure what her problem was, but it wasn't easy to talk to her, that was for sure. As she headed into the Great Hall, holding her new school robe tightly across her chest, she looked nervously around for Lorenzo. She knew he was a Slytherin and that Slytherin's were green so she looked for the green banners and uniforms. Kira had been placed into Hufflepuff, which made her a little sad because it meant she wasn't with Lorenzo, but she was with him more here than she would've been at home. She finally spotted him at the Slytherin table and she jumped around trying to get his attention, she wasn't sure if she was just allowed to walk up to him after all.

[Lorenzo Cardosi]

Being the first born son of Crius Cardosi and his wife, it left him with privileges that others would have only dreamed about. He was the envy of his siblings with all he would inherit, but there was one thing he had that the others did not. He was in an arranged marriage. This might be seen as medieval but he was truly happy, and loved Kira. He had since they grew up around each other. School only drove them apart until she sent him a letter saying that she would be coming to Hogwarts. Every day he looked for her since she didn't say when she would be transferring. After a few months, he stopped and figured that she would find him. Lorenzo currently sat at the Slytherin table, slicing up an apple while reading one of his potion books. One of his Slytherin buddies nudged him and gestured toward a girl that was trying to get his attention. His serpent green eyes lit up. It was the first time anyone would have seen him react like this toward anything that wasn't bloody or violent. Lorenzo got up from his seat, and found himself in a power walk to get over to her, before embracing her into a strong, almost suffocating hug, "You didn't tell me when, Kira. And you are a Hufflepuff. I should have known."

Kira saw Lorenzo quickly walking over to her and she grinned at him as he suddenly enveloped her in a very tight hug. She simply concentrated on trying to breathe as he spoke and worked on twisting herself out of his arms. "Yes! I. Wanted. To. Surprise. You." she struggled to get her words out right, her thick Russian accent causing her to stumble over her words a little. His vicelike grip around her was not doing her any favours either. She did so love him though and she didn't mind that she couldn't breath at all. She floundered a little and turned her head to kiss him on the cheek. "I don't know much about the houses." she admitted, pulling away from him slightly. People were kind of staring but she didn't know why. "Why are the people staring?"

Lorenzo noticed that it took her a few breaths to say what she said so he loosened the hug, and placed his hands upon her shoulders instead. It was evident that he had missed her dearly. Her Russian accent was like angel's music upon his ears. "I can give you the tour of them later. Just know that Gryffindor sucks, and Ravenclaws can help you with your homework. And don't trust the Taylor twins." Those pair of Ravenclaws were trouble from the start. All they did was mess up the place. Though it was damn near impossible to prove. Lorenzo just had a gut feeling, which he never ignored. Lorenzo did not take his eyes off of his fiancee, even though she asked why people were staring. He gave her a smirk, "Do we care if they are, Kira?" Lorenzo sure did not. All he wanted was to have more time with Kira, and someone managed to give him that wish.​
