Sage had been on a small sort of bliss since the Halloween feast. While it had been a nice enough night to begin with, it had improved ten fold with that boy, who had shown her attention, and who had danced with her. It hadn't been like she'd thought she would receive no attention. Sage was maybe just a fourth year, but she was developing quickly, and combined with her slim figure and tanned skin, insanely blue eyes, she was just short of feeling that she was truly perfect. Sage did not have a low opinion of herself, she had high self-esteem, and did believe herself beautiful, this would be the final touch. Growing up, and clearly she hadn't been the only one to think so. The boy, whom Sage did not know the name of had thought her stunning. She'd easily attracted his attention, and it had been playful fun between fellow students. Now, Sage had to focus on exams. Which was not a fun task, and definitely not the kind of thing she wanted to be doing. The teen had found out that while she was happy with how things had been going, she wasn't so interested in education. It was alright, sure, but it wasn't the most fun she could have. Friends were something she lacked, though, she realised that she didn't need to be as harsh when she first met them. Sage needed to be more friendly, or at least open to the idea of friends, and boys, well, she wasn't a veela, and didn't have those genes, but she knew how to attract them. Knew how to get the attention of teenage boys that were equally as fun to play around with. This being said, with the exams coming up, and her father expecting her to do well, Sage had decided to study, moving her attention away from boys.

Instead of the noisy common room, which had just too many first years who didn't know how to be quiet in it, the girl had chosen a quiet spot for herself. The slytherin teen had made sure that no one else would use it, and whenever someone came into the room, she'd tell them that no one was allowed in, and she was the student picked to look after the room. It wasn't a massive lie, but most students left after that. So, as it turned out, the quiet and the chillness of the room was perfect for the girl to focus on her studies rather than be distract by any amount of fun that she could have in some other area of the school. After having spent the better part of the afternoon studying, Sage had decided to take a break, she did this, by moving away from her things and just standing at the doorway of the room. A little different light, and a muggle book that had been released many years before, Lolita, while she was of magical blood, the girl had found that muggle books could at times be better than the old novels of wizards. There was something so fascinating to her about a non-magical world in books. The slytherin teen never took a break for very long, reading a chapter or two depending on chapter length. This time around, she'd gotten somewhat distract, she stood against the door frame, she was dressed much more casually, and comfortable, though it suited her well. Sage was distracted from the book, when she heard a familiar voice, someone was leaving the prefects common room, saying goodbye to someone. A voice she knew, and she watched as the were about to pass her, "Scream four was the worst Scream movie ever" the girl said, as the boy passed with a smirk on her face. If he was the right person, then he'd know exactly who she was, if not, she'd just be a random girl talking about something called scream.

Preston had found himself spending an increasing amount of time in the prefect’s room. For one thing, he didn’t have to deal with the whispering about him that was commonplace in his own common room. For another, prefects tended to be better students than most and spent a lot of time studying. Preston strove to be like them, but he knew that he wasn’t the best of students. He did try hard though, which counted for some of the professors. Shutting his textbook, Preston figured that he had stuffed just about as much Potions information into his head as he could. Thankfully, the OWLs weren’t for another couple of months, but as some of the other prefects reminded him, it was never too early to start studying. Leaving his book on the table, Preston headed to grab a can of butterbeer for himself. He tossed one to another prefect and they spent a few moments talking about classes and the dueling tournament that was going to take place in the next semester. Preston had no plans on joining. He wasn’t much of a joiner, the Brotherhood being the only exception to that.

Throwing away the now empty can, Preston grabbed his textbook and tucked it under his arm, leaving the prefect’s lounge, holding the door open long enough to say bye to the people who were inside. As he let the door shut behind him, Preston began to walk towards the stairs to head to the Slytherin common room so he could drop off his books before heading to the Great Hall. He was pretty starving, the drink doing little to fill him up. The boy made eye contact with the girl just as she spoke. It didn’t take Preston long to recognize her at all. It was the angel from the Halloween Feast, the one that he’d spent the entire dance with. Preston knew that he could easily walk away, pretending that he had no idea what she was talking about. But, what was the fun in that? Instead, he leaned against the wall beside the door she was standing in. “Agreed” he uttered, a smirk on his own face, his eyes crinkling on the sides. “What gave it away? I don’t have my mask on right now” he asked, curious though not at all disappointed that she’d found him out.

Sage kept her eyes on the boy. Now she knew who he was, it sort of made her think about if she would've done the same knowing who he was. Sage was a slytherin, who was not oblivious to the recent issues that this slytherin boy in front of her had been running into. Sage was not a purist really. She liked the fact that her father was a pureblood, and while her mother had been born of a muggleborn mother, this small blemish in her blood was not something that really bothered her. It was just a fact of life. She thought that while she was enjoying having a good amount of pureblood, she was blessed with a small mixture. She didn't have many friends who were muggleborn, though she had a number of friends who were muggles, but she was not the type to openly avoid people depending on their blood. She did make a small point of avoiding the younger year students, and most of the hufflepuff's. Mostly because she found them loud and frustrating. Now, this boy in front of her, a year above her, and by the small badge on his chest, a prefect. Now, that was interesting to her. Was this really how a prefect was supposed to act. The Slytherin teen didn't know much else about the boy. He was a muggleborn, and he'd just been outed, his name was something like Preston, something to that effect. Which probably explained why she didn't see him very often around the common room. She smirked at him, as he realised who she was. It probably wasn't what he expected, Sage hadn't even been about to say anything. She was however feeling pretty bored, and he was the perfect distraction to the studying she was supposed to be doing. Without her costume, however, the young teen felt a little more exposed. She didn't she looked bad, just a lot more natural than before. The shirt was slightly smaller on her since she'd grown since first getting it, and the shorts were the perfect fit to her growing legs. Just the right length to neither be too long or too short. Though, she was wearing knee high socks which meant only a small part of her legs were actually on show. It was not the same as the angel outfit she had been wearing. It was certainly less striking.

Brushing a small strand of her long brown hair from her eyes, Sage laughed lightly. "Oh, please" She said, glancing up and down the boy in front of her. "I spent the entire night listening to your voice. I had nothing else to focus on." She was a smart girl if she put in the work for it. She just wasn't as interested in the whole studying thing, and she wasn't entirely good at focusing on that, but she was smart. She learned quickly if she actually put the work in. It was a coincidence that she'd run into him, but hearing even a small thing that he'd said was enough for her to put two things together and realise who he was. "Had you altered your voice, I might not have ever found out. Not that I really cared about who you were." She shrugged at him, she had not at the time been bothered by his appearance, or about finding out who he was. It had been a night of fun, and after a few minutes of wondering, she just much preferred playing with him. "What happens at the Halloween Feast" Sage closed the gap between them, smiling at him, she was smaller now, without her heels, but she was growing. A smirk was on her face as she leaned into him, "Stays at the halloween feast." She leaned close enough to be able to kiss him, but just smirked and then leaned away. Her eyes still on his, though they moved down briefly to his lips and back up to his eyes. "Your name is Preston right? The newly outed muggleborn. Such a shame, you had such a high standing. All destroyed in an hour." The girl reached over and lightly placed a hand on his arm. "It's a good thing, I don't mind your dirty blood....if ever we were to have a sequel" Letting her eyes linger on the boy, she let her smirk grow before heading back into the abandoned classroom, wondering if he would follow her inside of if he would leave.

Preston wore a smile on his face, but a fear of rejection lurked beneath the smile. He wasn’t disappointed that she had found him out. No, he was actually pretty excited about that and rather interested to find out what it was that had given him away. What he feared more was the fact that she was a Slytherin and had probably heard all about his being a muggleborn. The story of his confrontation with Sergei had been all over Slytherin house for a couple of days in various, exaggerated forms. The talk had sort of died down, but he still heard people talking about him in the common room, especially when he tried to pull some authority over the younger Slytherins. He couldn’t remember having been that annoying when he was their age. As he glanced down at the Slytherin girl, he realized that she was quite a bit shorter than he remembered from the other night. In the light, he could see that she was still every bit as pretty as he remembered though. He’d seen her in the light before, of course, in the common room and around the castle, but this was the first time he’d ever stood so close to her. Preston’s eyes roamed her body before moving back to her face as she spoke. Her response made him feel like slapping his own forehead. Of course it was his voice that had given him away! She was right. Other than his physique, which was nothing out of the ordinary for a teenaged boy at the school, she really had nothing else to go on that night. His voice was unique in its bass and Kiwi accent, one that was a bit thicker than most since he not only attended school here but also lived in New Zealand when he wasn’t in school. The smile on his face widened. “Silly me” he let out with a small shake of his head. In truth, Preston hadn’t even thought about disguising his voice because he hadn’t been thinking about talking to anyone that night.

As she moved in closer, Preston’s eyes lit up with amusement. He remained in place, one shoulder leaning against the wall. His eyebrows rose at her words, his heart beating just a bit faster as she leaned close enough to kiss him. Before he’d even realized it, Preston had leaned down ever so slightly to join their lips. Just as quickly, she was moving away and the Slytherin straightened up, trying to play off his disappointment by looking around. The hall was empty, the prefect’s common room door still shut tightly behind him. As Sage began to speak again, Preston’s eyes drifted back to hers. He gave a short nod, his eyes narrowed slightly at her next words. He couldn’t get a good gauge on what she meant by her words. She wasn’t really mocking him and she hadn’t called him a ‘mudblood’ either. Preston opened his mouth, but became distracted when she rested a hand on his arm. As she continued, a look that was a mix of confusion and amusement crossed the boy’s face. A good thing? he wondered to himself, wondering where she was going with this. As she finished, his eyebrows rose again, the look on his face turning to one more of amusement than it had been before. Preston glanced around the hall again. Still empty. Preston knew what he should do. She’d said it herself. What happened at the Halloween Feast should stay at the Halloween Feast. It was the deal that the two had silently made that night anyway, one that had allowed Preston to continue to dance with her and spend time with her though he fully knew how it would look in the eyes of his girlfriend should she ever find out. If he stepped into that classroom, Preston knew that he would not have a mask to fall back on. Preston had other female friends, of course, but he knew that his feelings towards the girl in the room had nothing to do with his desire to befriend her. As he heard the rattle of the door to the prefect’s room, he knew he’d have to make his decision very quickly. If he waited any longer, someone who knew him much more than Sage did would be stepping out and wonder why he was standing in front of the classroom. Another step would show that person why. As the door opened and the noises from the prefect’s room wafted into the hall, Preston slipped into the abandoned classroom, shutting the door behind him. With his back leaning against the door, Preston stared at Sage. “It’s a good thing that my dirty blood doesn’t bother you” Preston began, a smirk growing on his face as he moved forward and placed his textbook down on an empty desk before taking a seat on a desktop, “It’s not like you could take what we did back anyway…Sage” he stated with a small shrug.

There was a part of Sage that though the boy would not follow her into the classroom. She wouldn't have minded had he not, since she was suppose to be studying, and he was probably supposed to be doing the same, but it was those sort of times, when no one was paying attention that Sage had found the most enjoyable. So focused on the end of term, none of the students or staff noticed pairs of students heading into classrooms. It was perfectly normal. It wasn't really anything out the ordinary. The slytherin girl hoped that he would follow her into the room, it was just going to be the perfect distraction from all those boring books that she was supposed to be revising from. It would be so dull if that was all she did with her week. A small noise of the door closing as Sage made her way to where she had been studying, caused the smile to grow on her lips. She tidied away the few things she had out before turning back to face the boy, Preston. Sage was the kind of person who hadn't made many friends, and was therefore not in too high regard by anyone. But, it also meant that she would not receive the negative treatment if someone caught her. "It doesn't bother me. Why limit myself to only the purest of bloods." She smirked at him, she ran a hand through her hair, messing it up and bringing it round to sit on one shoulder. She watched as he placed his book down and sat upon one of the desks, rather than sitting on the chair, sitting on the desktop. Sage didn't regret what they'd done, nor would she take it back. "Now, why would I want to take it back. I had fun" her smirk grew on the last word. She wandered slowly over to where he was sitting, she took a seat on the chair next to the table he was sat at, pushing the chair back ever so slightly, and placing her feet on the table so they were stretch out, and not covered by the table. She wondered if he maybe regreted it. Though the only reason he should regret it, is if perhaps he had lied, but Sage wasn't going to get annoyed by it. She didn't really care about this guy really. He was just good fun.

"Do you want to take back what we did?" The slytherin as him as she stretched out slightly in the chair, glancing her eyes down to her little shorts and smiling as she looked back up at Preston. She wasn't sure where to go with this. They'd had a lovely time in the Halloween feast, and it was just by chance that they met again, and she wanted to do something, but she wasn't sure how to word it. How to make this more than mind numbing competition. "No one even knew who you were, no one would care. All you are is the mysterious masked boy who danced with a beautiful girl" She smirked at him. Sage was not exactly subtle about what she thought of herself. She knew she was pretty. She knew she had assets others didn't. She could see the changes that made her less tomboy and more girl. She liked the way she looked, and she knew she looked good. There was no way she would give it up, or pretend that she wasn't. Sage was not interested in that kind of thing. She liked to make sure she looked nice, but it was only ever for herself. If it made boys like her, that was a bonus. It was true though, while people during that night would've been able to figure her out, they hadn't really been able to figure out who he was. There had been no telling whom the boy in the mask could've been. It was odd to think that this was perhaps their meeting on equal ground. Sage glanced to the window, and then back at Preston. She wasn't really interested in a life story, or even any other facts that this boy might tell her, though it seemed that rushing things would not be the way to go. "How did Sergei find out about your dirty blood?" She wasn't really that interested as to what was the actual reason, but it seemed like a simple way of just starting conversation until Sage spotted the right moment to do something, or even if he did.

OOCOut of Character:
I am sooo sorry. I completely lost track of this RP. Please don't hesitate to poke me next time.
Preston was pretty pleased to hear her say that she'd had fun on Halloween. If he'd been a balloon, he would have inflated a lot with that statement. As it was, Preston sat a little straighter and his smile grew ever so slightly at the words. The Slytherin teenager watched as Sage moved towards him, finally settling down in the chair right beside his table. His position on the table gave him a rather pleasant vantage point to continue their discussion, and Preston didn't hesitate to take full advantage of it. Her question was a bit of surprise considering the rest of their conversation thus far. He paused for a moment as she stretched her legs out and then looked up at him. Before he could truly respond, Sage was speaking once more. The teenage boy was grateful for the opportunity to hold off on answering her question a moment longer. When she'd finished, Preston found himself nodding in agreement. It was true. The mask had prevented anyone from knowing his identity, which was why he'd chosen to wear it in the first place. "Of course I don't want to take it back. It was fun." Preston smirked as he moved his hands to grip either side of the desk he was sitting on. "It's not like anyone was paying attention to me anyway...not with you in that costume" he added.

Hearing her question, Preston hopped off of the desk and sat on a chair opposite her. The Slytherin hated when people called his blood dirty as if he was diseased in some way. The way that they treated him made it seem like they did feel just that. "He found a stupid cell phone, you know what those are, that my parents sent me" he stated with a shrug as if he didn't really care anymore. What he didn't care about was talking about why he was being shunned by a large majority of the Slytherins. He'd much prefer to talk about anything else...anything. "So...were you actually studying in here?" he asked, eyebrows raised as he spotted the books that were lying around on the desks. Preston didn't know much about Sage at all, but he hadn't thought of her as the studying type. "Or just waiting for something more interesting to come through" he smirked, leaning forward in his seat.

Sage had in fact really quite enjoyed her time with this boy. It had been different from most other times, and well, most other times she just wasn't putting in any effort for such school events. She had liked the fact she'd drawn the attention of someone who had then decided to actually talk to her. There was nothing worse than putting in effort and then no one doing anything about it. It felt strange and while Sage knew she was beautiful, the only way to really make her really feel it, more than usual was by others saying it was so. Sage smirked at the boy, when he too admitted he'd had fun. Well, it had been fun. There was little denying that. Even if it had been pretty short, and even if they hadn't been too concerned about who each other was. Sage really liked being around him. She really enjoyed spending time with him. Well she had enjoyed all eyes being on her. Sage nodded along with what he was saying. "That much is very true." Sage glanced down while nodding, knowing that it really was in fact true. her costume, those wings, and her legs were the combination which of course drew all eyes to her, when they were dancing.

Sage did not have a problem with dirty blood people. She really didn't, she liked the phrase and did perhaps use it a little more often than she should actually use it. Not that it really altogether mattered in the end, since it was really just to see the reaction of the other person. Happily, the girl smiled at him as he responded. "A cell phone? That was what tripped you up, after all these years. What a mistake" Sage did not have a cell phone, she did however know what they were, and had once owned one. She just had no use for them in school. "That must feel pretty annoying," Sage said as she leaned in towards him ever so slightly. Now he was sat opposite her, she took her legs down from the table. Letting them settle pretty close to his. "I was, for a bit. But, admittedly I was waiting dor something a little more interesting to come along." She did not say that she was specifically waiting for him, because that was just silly. Sage had been waiting for something fun. For something more interesting than the boys sat in front of her. "As luck would have it, it was you who appeared." Sage smirked at him as she leaned forward, and slipped a hand on to his knee. "Were you studying in the prefects common room, or going somewhere to just escape?"

“Tell me about it” Preston mumbled, pulling back slightly for just a second before he moved back into his position of leaning closer towards her. “It was my stupid parents’ fault” he stated with a heavy sigh. They’d started all of this trouble for him. He’d told them over and over again that he couldn’t bring any muggle items, especially electronics, because they didn’t work. But, they’d sent the cell phone anyway. He was glad when the attention shifted back to Sage. She seemed to enjoy it, and these days, Preston enjoyed the attention being anywhere but on him. That hadn’t always been the case, but he was slowly growing used to his newfound lack of attention. Things were just easier all around when the attention was on anyone else. That she actually had been studying was a slight surprise. It was nearing exam time and everyone was beginning to feel the pressure. Even him. What surprised Preston more was the presence of her hand on his knee.

As his eyebrows rose ever so slightly, Preston grew painfully aware of their close proximity. Her hand was warm, warmer than Indiana’s had been. Not that he remembered much how warm she was. It had been a long time since they’d been close enough to touch. “Believe it or not, I was studying” he stated slowly, trying to think about anything but how nice her hand felt. “But I got tired of it, so I was on my way to find something more fun to do too” he added as he tried to keep his focus on her face. It was an easier task when his female classmates were in their uniforms. Whoever had come up with those uniforms had known what they were doing. “Any ideas of what we could do?” he asked with a smirk.

Sage laughed slightly when he blamed his parents. It was a little silly, Sage knew that being outed over something as silly as that would hurt, blaming parents seemed quite childish. Working so hard to hide who you were for such a small thing to be thing to stop it. She thought that it would feel pretty annoying. But, she didn't really care about Preston that much. She didn't think that it was really any concern to her how he managed to get found out. Sage had just been curious to know what had happened. She was not that concerned with people's blood. She was unlike some others in her house in that respect. The girl much preferred not caring about blood and just about how interesting they were, and how open they were. The slytherin teen smirked at him, when he seemed surprised to have her hand on his knee. This was more interesting that any work she had been doing, or would've done. It felt better, and she was much better at this than she was at anything else really. It was easier, and from what she was learning about Preston he was keen, and interested in it. She hadn't thought that he would be, but he was. That much was true. It was almost like he was looking for the same kind of distraction that she was.

The teen nodded as he spoke, she didn't entirely believe that he'd been studying, but that wasn't really a concern of hers. Admittedly, Sage didn't really care about what Preston did. Sage smirked as he said the same thing that she'd been thinking. It was much more fun in a school like this to have fun. There were many ways to have it. She didn't really know how far he was willing to go, but Sage liked messing around with him, and she enjoyed being around boys who looked at her the way she believed she deserved to be looked at. Sage liked what he said next, at the words she took her hand off his knee and stood up from her chair. She moved round to where he was sat, she placed a hand lightly on his cheek and then leaned down to him, kissing the other cheek lightly. "I can definitely think of a few things that we could do." She whispered, keeping her face close to his. Leaning out ever so slightly and then very lightly kissing him on the lips. She moved her hand away from his face, and standing up to full height, smirking at him as she waited to see how he would respond to her kiss.

Mehh, this could be better.

Preston couldn’t have made a better decision, though he was sure that others would disagree on that point. It was obvious to the boy that Sage was a girl who liked to have fun and knew how to do it. Even though she was younger than Indiana, she seemed ages older. Perhaps it was that she dressed or the way she behaved. Preston wasn’t really sure, but he liked it. As she stood up, Preston’s face kept its amused expression, eagerness evident in his gaze. He didn’t have to wait long to find out what it was that Sage meant to do. As she leaned towards him and kissed him, first on the cheek and then on the lips, Preston’s face warmed at the contact. The girl had a way of making him forget that he was sort of in a relationship. He wasn’t sure what was happening with Indiana, but if they hadn’t officially broken up, it meant they were still together in his eyes even if they weren’t really together together. It was the sort of thing that he thought about when he was alone, but at the moment, his mind was too occupied with thoughts of the kiss to even worry about a girlfriend that he might or might not have. Especially since Sage didn’t know about Indiana. He wasn’t entirely sure she’d care either. She seemed to not want to know many details about Preston much in the same way that he didn’t really care to find out about her.

Preston allowed his gaze to rise up to the girl who was standing over him now, smirking down on him. A grin crossed the Slytherin’s face, one that he knew he should suppress at least a little bit though he couldn’t. It was nice to know that she’d been thinking along the same lines as he had. “That definitely beats studying” he stated with a slow chuckle. Pushing himself off the chair, Preston stood up right in front of Sage. He certainly wouldn’t mind doing that again. Leaning down slightly, Preston was more than ready to return the kiss. His lips were millimeters from hers when he froze, hearing the sound of the doorknob to the abandoned classroom turning. A rush of noise filled the air as the door opened and Preston straightened quickly, a curse crossing his lips that remarked on what he thought about his life, wondering who this intruder would turn out to be. As the intruder continued to carry on his conversation from the doorway, his gaze still on who he was speaking to and not the individuals in the room, Preston rolled his eyes. The moment between him and Sage had been lost, all because of this stupid person who didn’t know to knock before entering a room. Sure, it was an abandoned classroom, but there still had to be some sort of etiquette that was followed. Everyone knew what the abandoned classrooms littered around the school were used for on occasion.
