Analei had been looking forward to this night. It meant a night of no studying, no homework, no animagus training...just her an Edmund. The couple had agreed to meet at the Great Hall again, and as always, Analei was amazed by the decorations, and just how pretty it was. She understood that it wasn't entirely Edmund's cup of tea, but she appreciated that he would come for her anyway; even if he had attended all the other ones with out her, she still felt special being there with him. Standing near the entrance, Analei looked around the Great Hall, wondering if she could spot anyone she knew, but also happy just watching the snowflakes fall from the ceiling. It was magical.

Edmund felt simultaneously like the luckiest man in the world, and like a man about to lose everything all at once. There was no way he had managed to stumble into a relationship with someone so beautiful and clever, and wasn't about to lose it all all at once. Edmund had a particularly bad history at school dances, and it felt very much like something was about to go dramatically, horribly wrong. Watching Analei watch the snowflakes though, Edmund's worries were washed from his mind briefly, chased away by thoughts of how beautiful she was. Even with all his worries, he could do his best to enjoy the evening with her. Linking their arms gently, Edmund cleared his throat, trying to speak clearly. "What would you like to do first?" He asked, finding he didn't really mind what she preferred. Even doing his best to dance wouldn't be so bad with Analei.

Analei looked up next to her when she felt someone link with her, and a smile grew on her face when she saw Edmund. It was their first Yule Ball as a proper couple, and she was sure that it was going to be the best night ever. Not only was he incredibly handsome, but he was smart and thoughtful, and Analei absolutely loved spending time with him. When he asked what she wanted to do, Analei smiled, unlinking her arm and turning to face Edmund. She placed her hands gently on the sides of his face. "This." She said, before moving her face closer to his, placing her lips on his.
