"There is always a first time for everything," Kalif shrugged as she doubted that he would have done that. Saying something along those lines made him want to prove her wrong, but then again it would be harming her and abuse, so Kalif decided not to do that. There was no way he was going to stoop to that level, not with Nicolette. Nicolette meant more to him than anyone else did, except for his children and family. However they did not get away with anything either. He kept them in line with an iron fist, which was what he was going to keep doing. There was nothing that he would do to put Nicolette's life in danger, not with the Zhefarovich family dying every so often. They were losing some of the older members, and that meant a lot. Especially some of the darkest lines, which was his own line. The darkest of the Zhefarovich people were none other than Asparuh's direct line. He was the darkest of them all, and the most powerful, with Kalif right behind him. Kalif was positive that there was not going to be another death in the family for a long time to come seeing as none of them were over a hundred, and that was very common in the family for someone to reach that age. Kalif was getting close to that, but it was still quite a bit away, so he would not have to worry too much about it anyway. Kalif merely smirked when his wife told him to bite her, not like he would. That was something, a whole other level, that he did not want to get into, not at this moment anyway. Kalif shrugged lightly, before he uttered, "Not like you can really match your attitude with my own." Kalif followed after his wife to check up on their youngest, Lanithro. Probably missing his parents. Walking up the stairs after his wife, they had entered the nursery where Lanithro was waking up. Kalif did not think that he wanted anything to eat, or a diaper change for that matter. Probably wanted to be held. Kalif turned to his wife, and he was relieved that they would not have to deal with this nonsense after Lanithro. They were long since done and over with for children. They did not need anymore, and would not have anymore. They could finally get things done for themselves, and be alone once these were grown up enough to leave for school. Kailie was almost in school, and there was no telling what house she would end up in. She had everything in her, from Gryffindor to Slytherin to Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. Kalif did not care so long as she got a good education.
