Rose for October

Evelyn climbed up the stairs to the North Tower searching for a Ravenclaw girl called October. The blonde didn't knew the girl so she would need to search. It would be handy if they put a photo with the rose deliveries. When she arrived she noticed some students. '' Hi have someone seen a girl named October Alcott?'' the blonde asked and hopd that someone could help her.

Valentines Day was always bittersweet to October. The romantic aspect felt moot with noone to share it with, and although the rose deliveries were always fun, she had to try and suppress the bitterness she felt at repeatedly recieving fewer roses than she had sent out to friends. Choosing this year to try and avoid the whole thing, October decided she would find an isolated place to do some studying. If a rose made its way to her, that was lovely. If not, surely it would be down to her isolation, nothing more. It was something of a bother to find the North Tower already occupied when she got there, but she made her way past the other people, choosing a quiet windowsill to settle into. She had barely spread out her notes to revise when she heard, of all things, her own name. Looking up, October was surprised to see a girl she recognised from Heta Omega delivering roses. Oh. Well, that was a surprise. Raising a hand, October spoke up. "I am October."
