Remembering

Larissa glanced at Libby for a moment before staring out at the lake.
"I lost a friend because of muggles.." She couldn't exactly explain why she hated muggle-borns and talking about Samantha she knew would reduce her to tears.

Libby didn't know that. "Some, i know, are bad, but they're not all the same" she said. Just because one muggle did somthing wrong still wasn't enough to stereotype them. Remembering what happened last time, she added, "but im sorry."

Larissa was about to argue when Libby said sorry.
Larissa said nothing and continued to watch the lapping water.
Larissa had to think.
"Someone asked me to the Yule Ball.." Larissa said casually.

Larissa wasn't sure if she wanted to say.
"Robert.." She took a deep breath, she was going to say it anyway.

((Mwuhahaha.. You post and I'll say what I've got to say))

(liar. he never asked u..i should no!)

Libby nodded, Robert was obvious. Lissy had made it plain she liked him. Shaking her head furiously because she knew she would stop nodding -deleted due to waffling- and said, "Do you know what your going to wear yet?" she asked.

Larissa continued to stare at the lake.
"Me and Robert.. He didn't.. I don't mean I wanted him to or anything.."

"I have a dress I like." Larissa smiled, "It's a green one, half carf high." She smiled at Libby.

Libby turned her head to look at her. "What do you mean you didn't want him to?" she asked.

(i luvvv dis song on radio xD)

((naww))

"I mean.. he hasn't asked me." Larissa looked suddenly sad.

Libby raised an eyebrow, "So he hasn't asked you" she said, confised that she kept chaanging her mind. "Well, for now, im not going" she said, turning her attention back to the lake for a second. "Sorry James," she said"How are you?"

Larissa felt like a bolt of lightning had passed through her; She had completely forgotten they weren't alone and that there was James there.
"Sorry.." Larissa said to her feet.
"I'll explain it all to you later, Libby." Larissa said as she stood up.
"I'll be having dinner in the Great Hall." She turned on her heel and left.

Libby wondered what had got into Lissy as she left, and meekly shrugged to James, and returned to resting her head on her knees. At least im no longer dizzy she thought as she raised her right arm slightly after testing outs its pressure zones again.

James let the girls talk and just sat back and watched the view until Libby asked him a question."Im fine, how are you?"He asked with a small smile.

Libby sighed, "Umm, nervous, sad and confused" she said honestly. She looked at him, "What house are you in?"

"Whats wrong?"James asked. "Im in Slytherin. What about you?"He looked out over the water and then at the students that ran past.

She sighed and wondered if he really wanted to know. "Firstly, lissy and me are no longer best friends after she put my robes on fire twice, punched me so i fell over giving me concussion that only went away yesterday and a fractured wrist, a few days ago Toni starting being horrible to me even though she knew i was already upset, and then earlier i found my boyfriend has left the school for a bit" she said speaking very fast. "And hufflepuff" she added, as she ran her hand through her hair

James listened and felt sorry for Libby. "Im sure you and Lissy will make up soon and your boyfriend will be back before you know it." He said to try and make her feel better, he didnt know if it would help but didnt see the harm in trying.

Libby gave him half a smile. "With the whole "Lissy-thing" im not sure about that" she said, finding it hard to explain. Sighing, she stood up, "I'd better be going back in, i'll see you round yeah?" she said, brushing grass off her jeans.
